Switch your metal cups around mate, the the first you showed of the MK1 should be part of the MK2 setup and the 2nd MK2 set the metal cup should be in the MK1 setup. Not that it matters, just an observation. they're great wee cook sets though. :)
@@LearnToSurvive574 I’m not sure about the us version but I do know here in the uk it comes with a stainless steel mug / cook pot as standard. That’s what I got with my mk1 kit a few years ago.
@@TheUberdude187 From what I have personally seen they are aluminium pots both mine are BCB and have aluminium pots one coming from the UK one came from a american importer. As I said in the video I didnt have a intrest in them till I used a friend of mine and his is what he was issued to him when he was in the military and its no different. other then the pouch he was issued
Good intro to the crusader cook set👍. I use a mix of the two. The MK2 cooker with the mk1 cup. Find the MK2 cooker is much more versatile, can even use as a wood burner if you had to.
Hi, you have mixed up the cooking mugs up, the kit for the mk1 should have the stainless steel mug on the smaller cooker and aluminium mug is the mk2 and goes with the larger aluminium cooker, from a former British soldier

If your not fussed about weight you can replace the aluminium cook pot with a stainless steel version for both mk1 and mk2 versions.
You know ive actually gave that some thought. I am not sure if the US cup/pot would work though. Some reason I think they are a bit smaller
