When i was young i never used foundation but once i hit 65 i started and tried so many...jones road wtf is the only one that looks good. Im grateful!
I absolutely love the wtf foundation and just how over time it has totally changed my skin for the better. Again, it’s very different from what people are used to and how they’re used to using products. I also believe that these products are more suitable for older people and also beneficial.
That’s the one thing I don’t like is I need to buy so mush at one time for free shipping ☹️ if the shipping was less expensive or if you could spend less and get free shipping I would buy more right now !
I feel like they could have done an over $35 free shipping.. $85 is just too much. I want to try the lip liners, but I’m not going to pay the shipping for trying one or two liners.
It’s so interesting… I hear a lot of people say that the miracle balm doesn’t dry down for them, but it always does for me! And my hair never gets stuck in it- I use it everyday. I guess it’s just my skin is super absorbent or something…

Tania, this was so helpful! I have watched you for a long time but haven't commented much, but I think we have very similar tastes in makeup! I got really into Jones Road about 1.5-2 years ago, and then I kind of became disenchanted with the brand. But, I haven't tried a lot of their newer offerings and I think I might give them a try again. Thank you so much for all you do with your reviews and your channel! 💖

Thank you for a very thorough review , especially as you appear to be one of the few people who have actually understood what the wt foundation is meant to be and how you should apply it. I have some on order with the pencils, powder bronzer and the patina eyeshadow..oh and one of the lip liners! Can't wait!
My favorite thing from their brand is DEFINITELY THE LOOSE TINTED POWDER!! The translucent one is a fave.....this loose powder is SO SO BLURRING AND I CANT GET ENOUGH OF IT!!.....the influencer Julia Adams put me onto it because she is ALWAYS RAVING ABOUT IT AND When I SEEN HER APPLY IT I LOVED IT!!! I HAVE THE PINK AND WHITE I MIX THE WHITE WITH THE PINK TO HAVE A LIGHTER PINK FOR THR UNDEREYES AND LOVE THE WHITE ONE FOR ALL Over FACE
I was thinking to do the exact same thing and mix the lighter one and the pink one. I just need to buy the light one now.

Tania great honest review. I love many of the JRB products but can’t use others. Their shadows are really nice. I’ve only seen one other comment about this but my one complaint is there was no one-time intro discount like most all other beauty companies offer. And I also agree the free shipping minimum is somewhat discouraging-neither issue not enough for many not purchase the products. I was lucky enough to go to the Greenwich Village store on a visit to NYC and they were wonderful there. It was fun and I purchased shadows, bronzer, brow pencil and mascara. All excellent! I did not buy the MB. Still thinking about it. 😊
I’m going there in less than two weeks and I’m gonna go buy me her lip liners so I don’t have to pay for the shipping😬

I am with a few other's comments. Too many other products I find more appealing. The first time my hair would have stuck to my face I would have thrown it in the garbage. I am grateful for your review and others as it let me know this line is not for me. Now that said, the eyeshadows are appealing. I would like to try the matte version. I have really loved the new Merit eyeshadows. Their range of lighter and different colors are not as varied as JR. If you get the matte colors please share a comparison.

Hi Tania this is the perfect video to find today for me I just got my first JR balm I’m kinda on the fence with my first application, it’s burning my face just a tiny bit not sure if it’s me or something in it ☹️ and a bit red … I have other stuff and do well and like them so we will see 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I love the pencils and the bronzer as well I have med I’m able to sheer it out ( I’m very fair) I have the lightest shade of the powder bronzer and it’s perfect for me as a sun kissed look 😊

I just can’t seem to take the plunge. I loved the balm foundation she had in BB line, but I think I’m just too stuck on the innovation of the newer generation of foundations and concealers popping out.

I pretty much feel the same. I'm kind of interested in some of the formulas but then other products catch my interest much more. Good to see Tania's review because I kind of found some of the products confusing. If I try anything it would probably be the gel bronzer, foundation, or concealer stick based on this video!
@@TaniaBWells I do want to try her lip liners. The mauve is calling me. And I just bet a crisp 5 bucks the shades are similar to her old line. She had a liner in BB that was called blush. I still have one and I use it so sparingly because there is nothing out there like it. It got discontinued years…probably decades ago

Thank you, Tania! I spend way too much money on cosmetics and am always open to something new and wonderful, but I have no interest yet in spending a dime on Jones Road. (This coming from one who used to buy everything released from Bobbi Brown!) Formulas have updated so much -- even drugstore brands serve "mature" audiences fairly well. There is no excuse for Bobbi to have these smelly irritating oils in her products, to have separation of product, to not refine to a comfortable non-sticky dry down, etc. and to charge such a high price tag. Really, the Jones Road stuff should be sold for 1/2 it's price tag from the reviews I've seen. I used to love Bobbi. I'm waiting for her to improve and update. Until then... I'll waste my money on tried and true or less expensive brands.

You saved me from commenting because I agree with you on so many points. I didn't count the number of times Tania said "tricky" about almost every product, but it was a lot. I don't want tricky makeup. Like you, I was big on Bobbi Brown during her heyday. But she is probably hobbled by her sale contract with Lauder, and can't produce competing products. Too bad for us. Almost all of that stuff would make me a greasy mess. I expect this brand to go out of business.
So glad I found this video. I’m over 50 and see a bunch of commercials for it. Curious a bit. Thanks so much. :-)

I wish i loved the WTFoundation.. after SEVERAL tries I can’t get over the stickiness and the bumps (which you demystified in this video) but even without the bumps i can’t take the texture on my face. Thanks for the video! I thought i was going bonkers 😅

I love the line. WTF is fab. If you mix the container every use it doesn’t stick. I suppose Inhave basically good skin, not v oily and spend half my time in Scandinavian cold. It gives me a nice natural cover. MB? Yes! I use au naturel as a primer and sunkissed as briner and switch Miami and Fluahed otherwise. Again I don’t find it too atixky(no hair issues) and it lasts. The rest? Good but not really stand out ie mascara lipsticks and eye pencils. I do love the cool glosses. The price or us OK. I joined for sms notifications and I get free or greatly reduced shipping promos a lot. Overall In glad BB is back. And love the skin benefits in the WTF and balms.
What I’m seeing is that so many people don’t like these products because they don’t understand how to use them, obviously you do. I feel that Jones Road with all her knowledge and experience, made products that people who don’t have her talent, needed more knowledge. These products are great but if you don’t understand how just use them, you won’t like them, and that’s not a criticism, it’s just that we’re not all makeup artists who understand how to use new techniques.

I just ordered Miami Beach and WTF in porcelain. I have very dry skin and live in a very cold,dry climate. I hope it keeps me hydrated. I'm not looking for much else.
Hi Mary, I love MB I have dusty rose. I use it after washing my face and serums, just like moisturizer. Just tap with warm fingertips… in the video she uses way too much. Do not scoop any amount, JUST TAP until your fingertip gets stained. I don’t aim to build, but it might depend on how dry your skin is. I use the pencil and foundation sparingly just like a concealer, then gently press a sheet of facial tissues. My combination skin wouldn’t get tacky, just hydrated. After using MB for a couple of days I noticed my skin condition has improved so much. Hope it’s working for you too

Honestly, you can find similar make up in other brands so I wouldn’t spend the extra money on this

I think the foundation and their balm are the only two sticky products I used from them. The rest don’t have that.

Just tap don’t scoop any amount… just until your fingertip gets stained and that’s enough. Skip moisturizer. If tacky you’re using too much

Why would I scoop the balm or the hoppie stick or the lotion?!
After applying these products lightly they are tacky and sticky to the touch and feel all day long.
Don't mislead people so that they waste a lot of money as I did and others have.
