Just wanted to add that there’s lots of different ways to go about creative burnout, sometimes it’s better to take a complete break from drawing, or to focus on another project etc. whatever you feel works best for you🙌✏ Also let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions yourself for the creative industry and art in general🌱✨
That little snippet of the world you're creating is so beautiful!! I can 100% see this as a game, don't let studio requirements hurt your confidence :)
Thanks so much! Absolutely, looking at requirements can be good to get an idea of what studios look for, but definitely important not to let them knock your confidence!🙌✨
Ok but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW YOU DRAW BIRDSSSSS!!!! Can you please make a video explaining how you draw birds, what you think about, or how you learned it??? Also your shape language is like the best thing ever!!! So good shapes, everywhere!
I feel you on not focusing as much haha! Especially since college ended for me, it usually takes around 2 weeks for me to re-adjust myself. I also get having really messy sketches. Either mine are super messy or crisp enough that I just use them as lineart. It's a mixed bag sometimes! Also, I love your shape language so much. I really want to improve on that myself!
Same! It can take me a good while to get myself to focus on drawing, especially after doing something big. Shape language is always a skill I try to build up, there’s so many great UA-camrs and artists who do good tutorials on these types of subjects✏🙌✨
Ahhh I missed this one! I love seeing all of the attention to detail you put into these things, this bear is so fantastic!!! Can’t wait to see this development more and more
Ello! I really enjoy your videos because I feel like you have a very healthy relation ship with your art, knowing that sometimes things don't need to be perfect for them to be valuable :DDD I study and move around in the game design/concept art industry and struggle sometimes with having fun with my work after having to do it consistently for a long period of time. For me it can be helpful to put my projects aside and draw for me not for others or any particular projects. I do admire how productive you are though, you are doing great :3
Thanks so much! I agree, drawing for industry projects can definitely be tiring over time and it can feel really great to have time to draw whatever you want with no deadline or specific requirements! Thanks for sharing💛✏✨
I love your UA-cam content and see your art process and concept for your work , I was wondering if you could make a video on how you make your UA-cam videos because your content inspires me to make a UA-cam channel like this
I was definitely almost at the point of burnout, it helped to focus on something small to begin with and then slowly build up on it! When I’m planning something really big, I’ll try and write down everything I want and break up the design process, otherwise I lose track quite quickly which leads to me becoming stressed👍If I can, I’ll sometimes have a complete break from drawing which helps me to rest and feel a bit more motivated🙌✨
Hi, this might be a weird thing to ask in general but did you go to school for illustration or self-taught, I'm learning from stratch and would love to know more about how you learnt, thank you!
Hello! I did study illustration at University which I loved, but there’s loads of different options for learning. Some artists prefer online classes/ self-teaching and there’s a lot of great resources out there. I always recommend to look into what other artists did for education and thinking about what you feel would work best for you!🙌✏✨

@@lilysillustration Absolutely! I'm slowly motivating myself to expand my drawing skills again, and there's so much great info to work off of!

Having a rough 3D model to use as a reference is something I never thought of, but am totally going to use that in the future!! Awesome work

I don’t know if you’ve completely moved on from this world, but the bear seems like he could definitely be a Half Light Garden
