- It has been more than a year since the death of Queen Elizabeth and more details about her final moments are starting to emerge.
The Daily Mail has seen new documents which tell that story, with one memo saying that she simply "slipped away" without any pain.

Another thing, in the event of a war, a prince that is involved in combat has absolutely no authority over his commanding officer and is treated as per his rank. Which again is completely dependent on their service. Not their bloodline. When the royals travel throughout the commonwealth they also attract media attention. And it is for that reason people such as Prince William and King Charles will make public appearances at charities and go to areas effected by natural disasters, they also make millions for charity and do a lot for diplomatic relations.
I'm glad she passed peacefully in her sleep with family around her. We would all want that for our loved ones.

This news is welcome concerning Queen Elizabeth's passing because it would be a comfort to her surviving family members to know she wasn't suffering unduly pain in her final lingering moments prior to passing in her sleep.
Im sure her family have known about her death for ages

When they released the images of her on the Tuesday before she passed away I remember commenting that she looked really really frail and the bruising on her hands was concerning
Some claim she had an IV there or had been given a blood transfusion. The brusing was very unusual.
I live in America ! I loved the Queen!
I still miss her as she gave up her life to be monarch and never faltered, even though she seen and been through a lot and in her later years, with her own family. We will never see another such gracious, loyal and loved royal, that she was.

Good to know, as we are all aware that not all leave this place in peace, I think of earthquakes & floods, and wars like Gaza where people die in pain and without dignity. We must always pray for peace and work for peace and show goodwill to others less fortunate, to merit passing into the last sleep.
At least HM, Queen Elizabeth II didn’t suffer when she passed away. It was like the angels came and took her to Heaven. My late Grandma Hlad passed the same way.

Nobody knows the reality. Some claim she had been suffering from cancer. She may well have been heavily sedated to control ongoing pain and as a result been 'asleep'. Nobody knows and the information will not be released.
