Belegar can be tough and while the guide works, the AI can be very finicky for no reason, so you may not be able to get your non-aggression / military access when I did. Skarsnik is also incredibly unpredictable, but as long as you don't fight him, his second army & his garrison then you should be able to still take him out no problem :) What lords do you struggle with early game? Let me know!
Karak Nom did not attack and he have 2 full stacks how to beat this whit only 17 units. I did try 5 times Karak Nom just sit on ass and Skarsnik always have 2 armies . PS the secend stack have those fucking gobling chariot or somthing IMPOSIBLE TO BEAT WHIT THAT ARMY. In one try i did beat one army whit small cassulties but the secend then just kamp in city and stil imposible to win whit city garrison when my army is not full healt this guide is fantasy. you mention that this can happen but you did not say a word what to do in this situation so its not a realible guide.
These are easily the most concise, helpful, and optimal faction start guides that I have found anywhere. The only recommendation I would give would be to take a slightly longer pause between steps allowing your viewers to pause accurately and follow along. Great job dude, you’re killing it!
That's a big compliment, thank you! Always looking for feedback on how to improve these guides. I will try to keep that in mind going forward, but they're already a struggle to keep around 5 mins haha!
I ended up having to abandon the territory I gained when I marched off to take 8 Peaks. I fortified at Black Crag, and multiple factions turned against me back to the northwest. Managed to get 8 Peaks though. Don't think I could have without this guide.
The guide worked flawlessly on Hard / Hard as well, great video, thanks! :) This is a really good start for that campaign nad it makes the upkeep cost increase not that big of a deal in first 50-ish rounds.
this campaign is way harder than what video shows, skarsnick attacked me with 11-14 nasty skulkers , the grudge throwers wont make a difference big enough when the enemies has 30-40 units vs your 20 units. I would advice to use the ghost heros just for scout and the master engineer to boost ammo and missile damage for the army.
I’m torn between trying out this to rid me of Skarsnik, or DameOffensive’s guide to take Karak 8 Peaks within 25 turns. Perhaps I can do both but push 8 Peaks to turn 30?
It depends on whether or not you want to keep that territory around your capital. I find that if you get rid of Skarsnik, you only have Ikit Claw left in that area to worry about, so the provinces could make you lots of extra cash while being able to defend themselves pretty easily while you push for Eight Peaks. If you don't want to bother with the extra micro management, then heading straight for Karak 8 Peaks is a great strategy!
@@0Coordination Could you not make a slight diversion and take out Skavenblight before heading off to K8P? I'd imaging that Ikit can roll over your starting settlements very easily if they don't have an army to defend them and you are on the other side of the Badlands.
@@pappy374 You could, but you'd be spending a lot of time trying to take Ikit out, as he'll most likely be close to Brettonia by then. You also get random armies of 'Mutinous Gits' that'll keep rolling over from Karak Eight Peaks. Personally I found it easier to head over to Karak 8 Peaks and recruit another army to defend your starting province later on, once your funds allow it.
@@0Coordination I hate Ikit! I fought him once with Ungrim and he just kept running him over in his Doomflayer! Truly a Grudge was written that day. Thanks for the video and the additional comments. I've never actually played a Belegar campaign so will give your tips a whirl.
@@pappy374 He can be very tough to go up against and his doom rockets are scary! I've read reports that Belegar's campaign is currently bugged and recapturing Karak Eight Peaks doesn't clear the grudge, so you keep the upkeep increase for the whole campaign!
Trying out this guide, and for the life of my i cannot figure out why my recruitment cap is set at 2, and 3 with masters of steel and stone on turn 4... any thoughts?
I haven't played Belegar's campaign in a while, but could it be low public order? I believe low PO reduces your recruitment capacity. I think this guide was released before the PO changes/ updates that came with 'The Twisted & The Twilight' DLC.
@@0Coordination i checked that, but i eventually figured out the issue, i had disabled taxes in that province for some reason and didnt realise it, thank you for your speedy response though :)

I still watch this guide until now. Truly the most simple, straightforward and easy to follow. Thanks for this!
Glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching!

Sometimes you just need to improvise! Losing territory sucks but 8 peaks is far more important, so glad it worked out for you! :)

Good to know the guide worked well on Hard / Hard as well!
Thanks man, I played this lord such a long time ago, this was super helpful :)
Hey, thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful :)
With the new updates, dont occupy Skarsnik settlement, as you need to win 5 battles against him for the Grudge, just farm him.
Good to know, thanks!
@@0Coordination yeah I know the guide is already one year old, but just for the new people seeing this =D
@@CommanderTavos99 it's always good to know for sure, I'll probably eventually update this for immortal empires!

Hey these guide videos are perfect. Quick and straight to the point.
Hey, I'm glad you're finding them helpful! I've got more of these lined up, but let me know if there are any Lords you'd like to see covered 😀

Sadly I don't think this will get an update until after the combined map releases in Warhammer 3!
