Makes me sad that Eshin don't really boost Eshin Units in any way (basides a little bit of AP on their slingers) as it would be fun to play around with full stalk / ambushing armies but Eshin's shadowy dealings are OP as hell, so that more than makes up for it!
@Orums It is good fun to play like that, but it's not unique to Snikch. As far as I am aware, he only boosts night runners / gutter runners with AP damage. Basically you can employ those tactics with all Skaven factions, not just Snikch.
Skaven have very quickly become one of my favorite factions, alongside Vampire Coast. Thanks for the guide, may have to try this one soon once I get done with my Pestilens and Direfin campaigns :)
New to this game and it’s been difficult to wrap my head around skaven playstyle and strategy, nice to see what advanced thinking on them is. Love the guide, even though very hard is still out of reach for me
Skaven are a little tricky to get used to at first, but they're an absolute powerhouse race once you get the hang of them.. definitely my favourite race in the game!
Thanks for the guide dude, appreciated. After playing basically only Skryre/Ikkit, in preparation for Immortal Empires, was fun to try something different. My only doubt is about the optimal army composition for clan Eshin: with Ikkit basically you go full weapon team, what would you suggest for Eshin? Without caring about spending, with let's say unlimited money, what's the best army you would play with them?
Hey, thanks for watching! The Skaven weapons team doomstack applies for all Skaven factions. They're the best with Ikit, as he can really buff them up with his workshop, but they still work extremely well with the other Skaven factions too, including Eshin. Unfortunately I feel Eshin need to buff Eshin units more, as currently they don't really do much for them, at least not enough to make Eshin based armies worth while on higher difficulties.
I like everything except the Weapons Dump. Foreign units will not be cost effective for a very long time, but substituting any of the other advanced military buildings gets you an agent and unlocks tech tree lines. I would personally go for a warlock and move him out west to start an under-empire, but Pox Cauldron for Plague Priests and eventually Poison Gutterrunners is also solid. Nightrunners are dirt cheap and even a partial stack of them will shred all of Hag Graef's early game armies. Snikch, Master Assassin lords, and Warlock Heroes all buff them.
It is actually impressive. But it will work as intended only if you are lucky enought to have a contract during your first 3 turns. Otherwise, you just wouldn't get food for tier 4 settelment, and it all kinda ruins.
@@0Coordination Correct re. Contract 'gamble'. I have tried this 3 times and not had 80 food due to no clan contract within the 1st 4 turns. Tbh you could just skip the Stash Rations to ensure 80 food, and catch up with Snikch's points by doing it later.
@@markmuslek6099 That's so weird, in all of my testing, I have always had one pop up. I will have to look into it because I'm so sure there's a timer showing you when the next contract will be available but now I'm doubting myself. At least there's still a way to get 80 food by T4 even without it :)
@@0Coordination I tried again. Got the 2 turn timer for a Clan Contract. So I did the Stash Rations and next turn the timer was 0 but no contract. On my next attempt I finally got a contract on Turn 2. Weird :)
His name has always confused me, is it pronounced Snik-ech, or Snitch? I have heard other youtubers say it like you, but his ingame voice acting says it like Snitch

@Orums I'll have to check that out, i like the idea of ambushing/stalking army. Friendly fire is encouraged as the Skaven ;)
lol wat? He switches the base and AP damage on them making them insanely good when boosted
Except saltspites campaign I don’t get the hang of her

Both are awesome factions, the Skaven are definitely my favourite. The weapons team doomstack is just too much fun :)
getting a bit of Skaven practice on before the new mortal empires map coming out. Then I see u made my favorite faction start guide! Thk U!!!!!
No worries, hope this helps!!

@@0Coordination why did you change the name of channel dude thanks for the guide mate
@Cursedpeopleakajuice I changed the focus of the channel for a while, before stopping uploads as I no longer have the time to record/edit videos 😞
@@0Coordination np mate hope you are doing fine now
Would be interested in a Noctilus starter guide, I had no idea what to do when I tried him.
Hmm Noctilus would be tough to do in 10 turns, but I can always try! No promises on this one though :p
Thanks for the guide dude, appreciated.

@@0Coordination Thanks for the answer dude! Really lookin forward to yours "X turns guide" for Immortal Empires!
@@VikingsNeverDie Looking forward to IE! Not long now!
No joke, I fired up WH2 thinking to myself: I'd like to do Snickth but I don't really wanna try to figure his shit out. Then this drops....
Thanks
Perfect timing then 😉
Solid content!
Thanks!

I'll have to test that further but I was sure you are guaranteed to get a contract every time. I'll have to look into that!

I'm almost certain his name is Snik-ech, but I'll have to listen to him in game to see what he says!
