Just the type of color I would've ordered. Doesn't draw too much unwanted attention from the cops. Awesome ride. 1971 was the last hurrah for Mopar building high compression muscle cars. It was all downhill after that until pretty recently
I had a Tawney gold 71 Dodge Demon 340 back in 72 and that color really sucked in the daylight but came off as a weird green under lights at night. Looks good on the cuda with the billboard to cover some of that brown up.Awesome cuda.
I like the gills drop top shaker what else could you ask for. American muscle. They use to be obtainable by normal ppl. Now ppl with deep pockets buy these cars.
A guy I worked with about 15 years ago had a 69 Barracuda 383/auto. It was in beautiful original condition and he drove it daily for a while. Tried to buy it almost every day LoL
A friend of mine had a 69 440 Barracuda, they really weren't called Cuda's yet. The way he drove it it might as well have had a slant six, that car was going to last forever.
@@williambayliss2367 my dad had to take off the cuda' emblems & 440 on the front lower quarter panel my dad's car came with the emblem. Every ragged out mustang wanted to race us at nearly every red light.
@@williambayliss2367 maybe his didn't come with it but my dad had to take his emblems 440 cuda' because every one wanted to race at the red light. We used it as a family car but on weekends dad would take it out for fun.
The 4 headlights helped at night you could see even in the ditches. Iprevious owner dropped a cam it almost put it in the ditch twice i steered out of it. I think it was close to 400 hp.
@@jeremythompson9122 yeah your right. What's funny is my cousin went to nursing school her fiancee wanted to race my dad. Her new beau had a 70' cuda' 440+6 wanted to race my dad's 69: 440 4bbl. My dad laughed and said No! You really need to tune those carbs it sounds like crap. It was yellow with the Shaker hood. My dad's A body had a 4 bbl automatic. My cousins was a 4spd if I recall I was later to buy a 71' 383 from a owner who dropped a cam , aluminum Edelbrock manifold and Holley carb. The clutch was crap they had been ruining it hard my ex took all my pic but one, and you know I took alot of pics of the billboards 383.
Very cool car and as usual an excellent video! One option I've never understood is the luggage rack. Tons of them were installed on C-3 Corvettes. Has anyone ever seen one with suitcases strapped to it? I haven't! I think it detracts from the otherwise fantastic looks of this car. A Go Wing would look great!
Its atractive. I had a orage 383 71 cuda' the prior owner droped a cam and aluminum intake. I ddn't have shake. Somebody lifted the wires to my hood. I enjoy convertables. I love that twany brown on that cuda'. Beautiful car. Thanks for posting. Missin' my fish. Cuda' :(
I may be wrong but, didn't Mike Conners drive a '70 or '71 'cuda in the show "Mannix?" I also remember Robert Reed, of the "Brady Bunch" drove a 'cuda for a season. Mod Squad had all sorts of Mopar muscle including a Gold, '71 Challenger, a '68 Charger and a '70 Superbird, among others!
Great Car, the luggage rack is so out of place. Stock or not they should have lost it when they restored the car, it would be so much better without it.
I thought the 446 pack and all the other engines lost power and compression in 71 except for the 426 hemi it doesn’t make any sense that you’re saying the 440 was still good this year?????????
Not my color but thst body looks great in that color thats all i care about when i make a personal judgement weather or not i like a color first an fir most how does that color look on the bidy style great with the black billboard s really great.....an i never was a fan of dodge green an i dont believe i ve seen this color in new condition which is the cool part of watching....dont melt tires on account of me thanks anyway... Really thanks people dont remember that E bodys were dodges funny cars 274 mph snake driven.....thanks
I don't know about the rest of the country but in Cali, 1970 was the end of the muscle car era. All the 1971 cars were dogs- down on power and ran like crap.
Fabulous, monster car. None made like this for 40 years.
The 1971 'Cuda is my dream car and, in my humble opinion, is the best looking of the lot!
got mine in 82 , i was 13
such a beautiful designed machine. 🏆
I’m drooling here!
That paint job gives the impression that looks like a "fire breathing dragon"...so cool!
The Cuda and Challenger were some of the best looking cars ever made. Especially the convertibles.
💯‼️
Plymouth called their three, two barrel carb setup the Six Barrel. Six Pack (or Six Pak) was the Dodge term.
Car designers of the 60's and 70's were right on! Car designers now..smh
They have no design now. They all look exactly alike. Remove the badges and you can't tell the difference

Great cars, i have the other shaker billboard six pack. Brad and Bart are gentlemen. Great Job!!!
What a bad ass car... Amazing...
Kevin, you sure get some classy muscle car variants to show us.
The greatest era of the muscle car pure rolling art

Love American cars but the coda is the best looking car ever conceived and built anywhere anytime
One Sweet Cuda...
"The Holy Grail"...👍
The 71 grill is the meanest look.
💯‼️ , got mine in 82
Outstanding machine!!!!!!!
Now THIS is what I’m talking about 👍😁👍
Just love the SHAKER!!!!
Pretty green gold whatever beautiful

Awesome car 🚗
Beautiful. My dad had a 69' 440 cuda'. I had a preused 71' 383 cuda'.

The 440+6 was definitely making over 400 horses. I'm sure the regular 440-4 barrel was too really

Made sense for the Corvette because it had no trunk, I believe.
I used the luggage rack on my 71 Challenger convertible to haul a push mower.

What a masterpiece !
Bet that's a high dollar car
That would run close to a hemi

My Dad had one new in black. With luggage rack 4 speed 340 with brown interior
a hard-on car for sure
That's the one.
It’s from SATX, where I live!
SHAME That the Most Highly Optioned CUDA Couldn't Have Been Adorned With A More Desirable Paint.Looks More Like ARMY Green
I think the grille is what catches me the most about these vehicles. ..disrespect I know
God i like that color
4 went to Canada. I'm glad someone else caught that.
Where's the pistol grip 4-speed, and rally dash?
I notice he didn't try to put the top down, haha!
Very Nice car, odd color for sure
mine is Autumn Bronze Metallic
No, they made 11 Hemi cudas convertibles in 1971 not 7
There was never a Plymouth six pack manufactured. Sorry Pet peave of mine....
Oh man.
Great Car, the luggage rack is so out of place. Stock or not they should have lost it when they restored the car, it would be so much better without it.
I had a gold with white vinyl top "69 charger R/T with the 440 4 speed (no six-pak). first car I owned and I destroyed it but I was only 19
How is that the "Brother's Collection" get such cars? Where does the money come from?
2006 Rubicon the coke brothers... billionaires.
Mopar or No Car $$$$$
Nice car but needs a 4 speed for my liking
hemi 4sp were not that great
my baby since ‘82..... dad paid $600 for it

that last one was a 2bbl burnout lol outboards never came on why bother peeling the tires if your not going to roast them
That luggage rack kills the entire car. Lame as a 427 vette with a luggage rack and a sideways radio
oh god!! get rid of that stupid luggage rack
ANOTHER complete restoration yet....the clock doesn’t work....🙄
Hate the driving lights and even more. the horrible luggage rack on the trunk..
It's not a six-pack. It's a sixth barrel it's a Plymouth . Dodge is six-pack Plymouth is 6 barrel. Not a Chrysler guy I guess 😭😢😂
It's a 6 Barrel. Not a six pack. Get it straight.
I hate the jarring stupid transitions in this video. gave me a headache despite the car being awesome
God what a nasty color.
no. same color as my girl friends ass.
dicarlo57 lol

They should put a LS engine in 1of them
