I’m a self taught artist, no lessons, and I have enjoyed this video so much . Great info. At 79, I probably won’t be able to get out any more but you have inspired me to try this again with the help. Of my granddaughter .
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and a couple days ago when I was in a bit of a stressed out state with news of the world tipping into madness with Covid, Ukraine, US politics and climate change I turned to one of your videos for a sense of calm from the ocean sounds, the return to some sanity from the landscape, and even your voice emanating a relaxed calmness. Thanks for that. And by the way nice painting.
Thank you very much. Really pleased my videos help you to de-stress. I find noise pollution is a big problem. I hear lots of low frequencies and find it hard to find a quiet space these days
Looks great!. Add some more green blue for the larger wave before the break to white water. Good saturation! Here in Virginia Beach we do not have natural rocky coastline. Although we can paint man made stone jetties .😀

Beautiful! 👍❤️ Had to chuckle over the oops with the red paint ....have you discovered Baby wipes...I find them indispensable for cleaning up....my palette...me...and anything else 😂 Cheap too....at least here in NZ. Again thank you for sharing your lovely work.

Im glad Madeline looks after you so well and Basil keeps you active - surprised you didnt do the Rinsey Head house above - great location though mate often use it for astrophotography! Meur Ras !
If I may make a comment I think the white water is the focal point of this painting however it does not stand up. This because the value of the white water is too similar to the value of the sea and of the sand. Or am I wrong ?
Thank you for your comments. I enjoyed doing this painting but never really liked it. There are many areas that don't work well - I will probably paint over it one day
