Good Morning, Drew. I just watched your video (about 15 minutes after I placed my order for the exact same version). Thank you for sharing your commentary. Great insight. I am so pumped to get it! I have the standard Quentel NLT and I love it, but I really think this one is going to be my 'go-to' for some reason. I just love CSB's 2020 translation. May God bless both you and yours, brother! And my deepest condolences on your loss. Truly. ✝️ 🤜🤛
Great review, thank you for taking time to do this review. I just ordered this exact bible this morning and couldn't wait to see what it might look like and you have satisfied this curiosity. They really are so beautiful! Peace & Blessings Parker
I really want to get either a Schuyler PSQ CSB or a Schuyler PSQ NIV! I like both the CSB and the NIV for my "middle of the road" translation, but I just can't decide between these two translations! Both PSQs look amazing. I grew up with the NIV and it was the first translation I ever read all the way through. But I've recently been getting into the CSB and loving it too. If anyone has any thoughts about CSB vs. NIV, please let me know! Lol. By the way, thanks in part to Drew's recommendation, I got the ESV Heirloom Heritage in Prussian Blue from Evangelical Bible! Thanks again, Drew! :)
That’s so cool you got the heritage! I’m loving the CSB translation. I really enjoy NIV as well. To me, the CSB feels like a balance between the NIV and ESV. I also like that the CSB is black letter, I’m not a big fan of red letter, but if you are I’d go with the NIV! I think at the end of the day, whichever you’ll be drawn to read more is the right one 🙌🏼
@@fatherofarrowsThanks so much, Drew! That's super helpful. I don't like red letter either, definitely prefer black letter, and for me personally I think red letter might actually be a deal breaker, so that means the CSB PSQ. I also really like single column, but at least as far as I know there's no good single column personal size premium CSB? I think my ideal Bible would be a Schuyler PSQ in single column (I love the PSQ's colors like red chapter numbers and headings etc.) but sadly I don't think that exists. 😢
I have this bible. Love it. Perfect size and feel. The leather has a nice soft feel for a calfskin but still feels very protective due to the full yapp. I have the CSB Quentel in blue as well and I find myself taking this one with me everywhere. Even though it has a smaller font size it seems easier to read due to its more modern typeset, imo. Great to hear you're already planning for your children to each have a special bible when the time comes.

Yes! So great.
Just ordered one of these. Trying to find videos on it to ease the waiting pains
It’s a great Bible! I’m loving it.
