Back in the Yugioh GX on DS days, I would run Skull-Mark Ladybug in a Reliquish deck I had in the game. So not just taking your opponents strongest monster off the field, but also gain 1000 LP to help buffer from the attacks the computer would make. In an exodia deck that did really well in those games, SMLadybug would sometimes be the 5th card I needed to use Pot of Avarice, and then get cycled back for even more LP gain, alongside some Nimble M's that is. Kids these days don't appreciate the limits we were dealing with back in those days.
The thing with laurel is that you can use her to trigger your crapp on your opponent turn. And for the idiots saying it is archetypes specific 2 seconds later he talked about the cursed bamboo sword.

Burning abyss can’t have a field spell, since it counts as having a spell on field, so they can’t special summon. Maybe a monster that you set in the field spell zone as a graveyard effect. You could have it give them protection and call it “Cerberus, guard of the burning abyss”

Having monster as a field spell stand-in sounds novel. We could also have a “Burning Abyss” continuous trap that works from the GY like how Archetype specific field spells usually work. Beyond that little quibble, how does the rest of the card look? I tried a few things with it to help slot “Burning Abyss” into more decks… Made it so DARK Fiends are considered Burning Abyss cards without overriding their usual traits (to help them fit in better with other DARK fiend decks, like “Archfiends”), and also so that said DARK Fiends have more offensive OMPH (like what you would except from the legions of hell trying to cave your LP in like a skull), and the counter effect helps buff the “Burning Abyss” decks in different ways… ⚪️The ATK/DEF boost, in tandem with the buffed attack potential from before, allows Burning Abyss decks to gather their strength rapidly for the battle phase… ⚪️…Meanwhile the second effect to place tokens onto a target on the field could be likened to the target being weighed down by their accumulated sins as all of hell marches before them… ⚪️…And the third effect takes care of special summoning “Burning Abyss” monsters anyway (as a backup in case the burning abyss monsters own universal special summon flubs for whatever reason, even with the field spell’s built in counter to its flaw.)

I know that "sent from the hand to the GY" doesn't count as a "discard", but if I "discard" a card will it activate something that says "If this card is sent from the hand to the GY"
Anyone that's thinking about using "Revival Golem", it's actually F Tier. Firstly, it's a "When" effect, meaning it misses timing more often than not. It also HAS to be from the Deck to the GY to activate, so being sent from the hand or field does nothing.
revival golem saw play in adamancipators, usually as a target for rock band xenoguitar's banish effect. not to mention it can be normal summoned unlike wulf and the other lightsworn
My bro if your revival golem miss time, just delete your account 😂 Just because it is optional when, doesn't mean it easily miss time, you just have to make it chain link 1, Revival Golem effect is simple: when milled, reborn itself. When effect that would've been nigh impossible to resolve is something akin to cyber ouroboros where its effect is "When this card is removed from play, send 1 card from hand to gy to draw 1 card." While cyber dragon and machine fusion loves to banish from gy, they banish as cost to summon their fusion, making the last thing to happen wasn't cyber ouroboros being banished but a fusion hits the field. You have to go out of your way to play something that iust banish as effect.

and i know this doesn’t apply since the cards im referring to havent been released yet, but it allows diabellestarr decks to be a full turn skip ftk AND a competitive exodia FTK that can play through handtraps (except droll of course)
