Just an interesting point you were making about people in the ER being seen in order of arrival. Here in Canada is based in order of urgency, so even if you were the last person to arrive if you are showing this much abdominal pain you would definitely be seen before let’s say the kid burn in the arm, even though it was a child. You could be having an appendicitis that could burst any moment, so they see you here pretty quickly for that. Unless there is a bunch of trauma patients coming in by ambulance. Then you are in bad luck.
This is how it is at GOOD hospitals here in the US too. When I went to the ER with chest pains from pleurisy, they took me in the minute i was done at the check-in desk. But I used to go to a really crappy ER when I was younger and i remember a man walked in with a LARGE TOWEL SOAKED ALL THE WAY THROUGH with blood from a head injury and they made him wait for HOURS in the waiting room. They only brought him a new towel once. That was traumatizing. That poor man. I think about him sometimes and hope he turned out okay.....
Well ER is not correct. I just did not know what to call it in english. 🙈 It was more like a doctor you call when the doctors office is closed. You get an appointment. They might choose to admit you and then things speed up. That way I do not have to risk waiting for hours due to trauma patients. 🤗 The ER Definitely takes the most ill/wounded first. 🤗
@@Theartofbeingill Ah, okay. We have "Urgent Care" centers in the US who take patients when the doctors office is closed but they don't have the ability to admit us there in the center. If we need to be admitted, they just tell us to go to the ER lol.
Loved this video. ❤ so heartfelt
I LOVE this video! What beautiful reflections! Thank God/ the universe/ nature/ whoever lol for these walking angels!! ❤
Thank you. ❤️ Yes, they are everywhere if we look closely. 🥰
