Bro, I used to watch all your ESO builds. You don't disappoint, EVER. This is how all builds should be. Please don't stop with those guides. So good man, thank you!
Nice build. Just started playing T&L recently. Healer is usually my go to class. It's nice to have videos like this to watch and get a idea of skills that others are using and their play style. One of the better videos i seen at the right time with the nerf. So many think we are nerfed in oblivion but we are not. Just not a prominent cookie cutter build anymore. I honestly feel that there isn't a cookie cutter build meant to be had in T&L especially large scale PVP. Why not have the variety of different buffs/debuffs and heals available running multiple healers. This build you present is definitely a S-Tier Arena build with that being said.
lots of people talk about the shock hat general boots. Its posible on staff/wand using uramancer or excavator to run swirling hat shock boots with a nearly identical build above to get alot of CDR. Optionally, you can run the acended hat with shock pants. Then bots can be shadow or the hit boots (the hit boots for wand are actually not troll as they also give +weaken chances
Yup, there's a lot of mix and match. Shock pants and ascended hat is a good option alternative directly for this build too. Ascended pants was really for thr wisdom base bump here.
Feng dropping the best T&L build video I've seen yet. Everyone can argue about gear all day long but no one is going to argue against your skill selection. This build is amazing.
@@FENGRUSH It's really fun having something fresh! I'm going rapier and musket. KristoferESO got me on that build a year ago. Everytime I see a two hander hammer i think of your New World Streams! lol
I have been looking for a new build post nerf patch, but it seems most of the skills I have made is already what's needed but i need to add a few more things, good video :)
First time watching, just wanted to give props. Of course everyone heals slightly different but for anyone new to healing this def is in the right side of healing.
I’m still kinda new I’m at 1980 power I think stats and gear are MIA I don’t know about traits stats etc 😂 but I saw a healer dps I think use like 2 heals and everyone insta went full health like wtffff 😅
I ditched healing touch. I’m using ray of disaster. But I think foundation would be better for healing, or a cc.. or another skill. Keeping both on the bar is unoptimal. This nerf kinda of sucks.. the shield is actually better now though since it always procs at low health and most players weren’t useing weaken.. now you can survive longer. I was running swift and touch.. but I took out touch completely.. I wish they would have just reduced the cd of swift heal to match healing touch though
Ya there's various skills in that spot that can flex in. I tried rays 30% snare and it's highly impactful - good against melees. That with sleep and root gives defensive options but I'm holding onto the HoT for now.
We have the same playstyle but im terrible with building my gear and i hate copying other ppl gear but this game cost too much to make mistake with wrong gears. Thanks for the build guide
Just wanna say thanks so much for this build, i always felt like i should've gone tankier in this game. Fantastic build and shared to some other heal acquaintances. Please, please give us an update with runes
Can Confirm , this build is goated (have been in war with this build having my back) Tanky as shit, Huge consistent heals being sent out to the team , Solid . Just... Solid.
Watching this made me realize how bad my blocking game is. I tend to always get hit with a cc by stealth-ers first. Not allowing me to eve block at all. Maybe I should focus more on pre-blocking? Any suggestions. Great video btw! I considered myself pretty good but you taught me a lot. Subscribed.
You'll mess up and die a lot blocking for pvp. It's hard to execute them well timed unless you either fight the same weapons a lot or also try then yourself. Preblocking when you see someone approaching you is good thougg. You should be presuming hots ad well like fountain just before contact.
@ yeah, man. Thanks. I’ll try more to focus on self HoT pre-initiation. When I try pre-blocking, I figured the stealthers were just waiting for my block to end before they initiate. I guess it does just depend a lot on chance too. Took away lot from your video. Thanks again.
thanks for the healing insight, i was curious if staff was more useful for pve, but i guess your aoe is sufficient? also how did you make 40k lucent ..
For damage staff is real good with wand, but less healing. Aoe is fine though standard dungeon or solo stuff. It's quite exceptional with bow wand for aoe actually. Lucent just been from selling most everything and farming items at a slower pace once their value dropped. Sell new things at front end of patch is the best way. But it's 90% trait extraction, 10% litho sales.
Large scale the bow is 100% better. SnS good for smaller scale fights, like a 6 man or less if you want to prioritize heavy survival. Only reason to go evasion is really for arenas otherwise I'd stick with endurance. Going into T2 gear eventually, you will definitely go endurance, so it doesn't hurt to get used to it. Learning to mitigate damage and heal through it now is a solid practice.
In your explanation of the solo PvE you are using healing fountain, but in your PvE skills explanation and textguide there is no mention of healing fountain. Is something outdated or changed?
You dedicate pretty heavily to wealon choices. Skills and such are easy to move around in that build, but swapping to another weapon is very difficult and time consuming. Generally it isn't difficult to add a 3rd weapon after a bit of playtime though.
1. What is the reason you choose endurance over evasion ? 2. Idk but i think your build will have mana struggle in hard pve dungeon , especially when team need healing a lot , i don't play pvp tho. 3. for pure healer, perception only gives buff duration, you can spend point at somewhere else and get buff duration from traits 4. your build is great but it's super expensive
This build absolutely won't struggle with mana regen in PvE. It's endless in PvE with over 1k mana regen before potion or foods. Perception is for a baseline hit and range. People wanting more can swing this build to 60 perception, it's flexible. Endurance is better later on and works in PvE as well. You can. Survive most mechanics in PvE dungeons and just eat them. The only place I'd recommend evasion is a melee evasion build for arena purposes but it will alter your gear significantly to achieve it. Lastly the build has progression from blues on website you can Reference. This is all farmable, i in fact bought nothing but farmed this over time. Only w peices here will cost over 1k lucent
Just curious that if you are going for cooldown speed/reduction, what are your thoughts on using toublek bow with its cooldown speed stat vs Karnix bow.
I thought about toublek it'd just really restrict our ability to hit 70 strength. For now, we run this stuff until T2 is the way I see it, and endurance gets stronger then on new sets. 70 str gives us over 2k melee a d range defense which is a must have in conjunction with our endurance for bulky survival.
Open world dungeons at night time are PvE areas with pvp enabled, closest thing to it. There is a new area coming that is fulltime PvP as well like this though.
Hey Question How do you deal with mages i checked the stat magic Endurance is at most 320 and Magic Evasion is 140 how would you deal with mages bursting you? pray or use guardian angel and pray you wont get bursted down?
Magic endurance will be your lowest here. In TnL you sort of pick your poison as it's hard to resist all 3 in one build. With that said, you leverage blocking and rotating defe sives when you see them targeting you. You'll see them charging up usually as their combos are the most telegraphed and they don't open with a stun.
Is phantom wolf tunic much worse than shock commander plate? I have it full traited and it wuld be so expensice to change it just because of few points more or less.
Its not the end of the world - but it's not a great choice unless you're swapping to a crossbow build for the 2 PC bonus or something. It gives strength but the shock is basically adding on damage resist as well. Aside from that there's a trait difference too.
So check the build guide link here tied to this video. It will show the passives discussed in this video - throneandliberty.gameslantern.com/builds/9cf476dd-5f20-43a9-a6db-d2f73b7ce6e5/fengrush-bow-wand-healer-build
Maybe im just dumb, but this is not noob friendly, on your page you have a stepup but from blue? For us totally new people what green to step to blue ect? I'm lost already I think im now more lost :\
Games confusing, you're not dumb. Your green gear doesn't really matter. Pick rewards and craft basics, level it to 6, then transfer into blues. Specifically, the ones I listed. It's just basic starting gear before that.
For this setup you could flip in a high strength tome to offset - but you will also take a hit on your wisdom+perception a bit. This isnt a deal breaker though. You will ultimately have more dex and leverage that bow but you'll have a different blend. I wouldn't use Proximate Remedy as a healer - it has a very short range. You'd have to get excavator tome.
I was shocked how little the nerf had an impact. I just stopped using healing touch all together or only in tandem with natures blessing. I find I dont even need it anymore.
Hello, Feng. Do you use the same stat points for PVP and PVE, or do you adjust them slightly for PVE? I'm primarily a PVE player, but I'm leaning towards your build mainly for survivability in small-scale PVP in open dungeons. However, I’d like to remain fully capable of healing my friends in T2 dungeons. I know your build is still a work in progress, and I’m excited to see how it turns out.
Stay the same - high survival in pce will allow you to tank a lot of mechanics too so it's not bad. Otherwise you can pour more into other stats for cooldown/buff duration
Personally, ive diched healing touch, and have decided to play more "buff the whaler". Find a person with archboss gear (or a spinner), and just put the singletarget shield for 6k on him, the max damage buff and skill damage buff, and babysit him.
This is like a pocket healer means to play and totally valid and functional from a pure healer perspective. The buff version of time for punishment scales very well.
14k HP and 480 ranged endurance is incredibly low for large scale. Not to mention the endurance split is all over the place. The only solid mitigation you have is against melee which is fine for arena (although melee eva is better) but entirely useless for gvg/large scale. You could achieve most of the stats here with much cheaper items too, there is no need to use universal band if you are only going to go for 14k HP lol. IF you are going to use endgame gear then you are much better off going for an Excavator Wand which is priced similarly on AH but also easier to drop since its not an archboss item.
Build isn't finished on me when stat sheet is open. Mentioned pretty early on these are not final. Everything is simple to farm outside of band and belt, and band isn't needed for 70 str. Excav wand, i addressed as well. Happy to entertain comments of differing points but this ain't it.
Endurance doesn't evade your attacks. It reduces chsnce of critical hit. That's irrelevant for a healer. Secondly, crit isn't that low for healing, both weapons carry a good amount of crit.
not gonna lie going the right direction but stat wise this isnt the play hp is lower than needed each endurance is very low to what enemies current crit rate is even with distorted sanctuary up and your base defenses are really low for high end pvp honestly.
I like the build. I think it covers almost all the bases but I think there is one area in particular you missed out on. Now normally I wouldn't mention this but I think for healers it's paramount that this is included in the build so that everything is covered holistically. Now this area in particular that is missing is the section of the Bidet! It is super important that the healer makes the correct selection of Bidet for their toilet to make sure that all areas are properly cleansed of all potential debuffs!!! Now other than that, the build is incredibly on point and would be incredibly helpful if I ever built a healer in any game I play. Thanks!
@CRONKTEZ I spent 300 hours in game and some dude said at min wage that was 4500$ lost opportunity ... and I was like ... well I'm kind of rich so don't give a s but ... well maybe I'm not that rich....
jesus, i get the build but man this is strange, a bow is not used for damage but to complement a wand in healing :)) I't hard to see the logic in what they wanted to do with this game...
You can do wand for more utility/damage, sword and shield for more tankiness. Dagger is kinda a specific thing that plays as a bomber more. All in all, patches will be and flow, but this is still your best utility healer. The ability to rapidly dispel debuffs is still a tool for the bow that saves lives in smaller scale combat.
@@FENGRUSH yah, i'm still learning the game, haven't played a MMO in some time but I still find it a little strange on how the meta works compared to something like GW2, PVE especially, guess I just expected more of a ranged/sniper playstile
You are tank, not a healer. 10 sec swift healing cooldown an healing touch 5 sec cooldown, 29 sec aoe healing skill you have, you have very less extra healing too, you have only 7500 mana so your healing amount is very less - you only heal yourself and maybe one more in 3vs3 arena conditions; not in mass pvp castle siege - boonstone / riftstone pvp - or in event zerg pvp. How do you plan to heal if +2 members get low hp at mass pvp? or even tier 2 star dungeons with that cooldown amounts and low healing amounts? Staff, Dagger and Greatsword has low cooldown - %60 healing reduction debuff skills, and most of the time in mass pvp - you miss it and so the healing amount getting lowered further. Even you cleanse one, how to cleanse 2nd and 3rd ones? this game has a full CC lock, and non-stop debuff. With the bow passive shield nerf - after that shield - 60 sec cooldown and then you are defeated... This games pvp is not made only for 3vs3 arena, and you need to decide if you want to be a true healer to heal your party members and guild members in pvp or play as a tank paladin.
Healers have to be tanky, the moment your not, you aren't a healer at all, you are dead. In a perfect world where no one attacks you, you could build ways you're describing. The reality is you need high survival on a healer, and the sustain is fine in this build with high mana regen and sustain buffers via blessing and fountain in yourself for additional mana. We don't have high max mana because mana regen is pumped high for sustain. The healer build you're proposing will be dead doing 0 healing unfortunately. Once enemies mark you in pvp and realize you're the easiest target, you go first every fight.
Bingo! People don’t understand this. I was getting marked in arena but only staying alive because I got 17k health and with mana regen I verynkrg stayed alive.
in this game if you do not build tanks, the time to kill is instant. Therefore as a healer you are prime target, and building HP is a must. Hence the reason folks build PvP vs PvE builds

You know - I did miss this in detail in passing, but they are listed in the link in description and slightly different for pve or pvp setups.
@FENGRUSH copy. I will check them out want full PvP build .. PvE i just run Bow/Staff
What's the point of rotating hots if they're on the same CD?
They're short CDs and you will lead into burst heals while they're still up.
Ok thank you. I'm gonna stop uping my staff so it was interesting to see you aoe grind with wand/bow too
Would you change anything for large scale pvp?
Not much yet, I'll see as I do more fights in GvG. It's really a matter of deciding flex spots for mass sleep or tornado preference.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

why hit chance on lequi? you should 100% go for buff duration you know?
You could further go for buff duration - hit will struggle pretty badly but it's not a bad choice.
like im just so focus on that 40k lucent ...how i wish hehe
not gonna lie going the right direction but stat wise this isnt the play hp is lower than needed each endurance is very low to what enemies current crit rate is even with distorted sanctuary up and your base defenses are really low for high end pvp honestly.
High end PVP is a joke. Until they actually balance it, I doubt anyone should really care. Just run with 70 people and Zerg everything.
Not sure i follow how endurance or defenses are low, they are a focal point in this build?
I like the build. I think it covers almost all the bases but I think there is one area in particular you missed out on. Now normally I wouldn't mention this but I think for healers it's paramount that this is included in the build so that everything is covered holistically. Now this area in particular that is missing is the section of the Bidet! It is super important that the healer makes the correct selection of Bidet for their toilet to make sure that all areas are properly cleansed of all potential debuffs!!! Now other than that, the build is incredibly on point and would be incredibly helpful if I ever built a healer in any game I play. Thanks!
Here he is!!
Wait this isn't Daggerfall lol
sure you wouldn't rather spend your time driving Uber or mowing lawns , landscaping or wtvr? I got gold myself so...
what?
@CRONKTEZ I spent 300 hours in game and some dude said at min wage that was 4500$ lost opportunity ... and I was like ... well I'm kind of rich so don't give a s but ... well maybe I'm not that rich....
you look taller on twitch
jesus, i get the build but man this is strange, a bow is not used for damage but to complement a wand in healing :)) I't hard to see the logic in what they wanted to do with this game...
Do you even play healer u're just saying stupid shit 😂
