Oh I did way worse. Obtained chernobogs blade with +hit... i wanted to add heavy attack trait, had 100 unlockstones... somehow instead of adding a trait i frikin rerolled the +hit one. I'm still crying... frikin misclick
I used all my trait unlock stones, but it was to get 3 good traits on the purple dagger in cave of destruction. Still feel like it wasn't that bad of a decision, but idk what the best daggers are 😂
I work a full time job that varies between travel, nights, and called in on weekends. I am also doing a masters degree and working my other hobbies. I can still play Throne and liberty in free time when I can and I am almost 3k combat power with all f2p. Not that bad.
You lie like a dog. 110 hours since release. Only 2300 gear score plua i am in the number 1 guild on my server. If you are 3k score, you bought lucent or play more than you let on to
It’s kinda the point of the game if the game wasn’t a grind would be very boring sure they COULD make it a little less harsh but that’s kind of the point of MMOS to be grindy
it is not. i work ~ 8-9 hours a day and i'm at about 2,5k gear score. I dont have a guild yet, and i wasted 15 hours because i didnt know that you can craft green parchements :) so i farmed all single green parchement instead of doing contracts for blue parchments.
There's one method that sometimes end up as cheapest way to level your traits and its best starting from building the first traits but its not required, it is price dependent on your server but if you have some really expensive traits in your build you can simply grab the cheapest trash trait extract for your gear and then buy blue items to build pity on that trait, am not sure on the concrete math regarding how much pity you get for one blue but you need around 400 pity for 100% chance, so you can build up 1200, 2400, or 3600 pity, then convert the trash trait to trait of your choosing and enjoy one tapping all the traits with blues to max level. Obviously this works best for the armor pieces, not so much for weapons and accessories cause the prices can get a bit high on the blue items, but it may be still worth it you just have to do the math and compare prices :)
Big sax? Sonny Rollins maybe? Seriously, this really excellent overview of this tech that most people are sleeping on. Making purples you choose for your build and working on the trats over time is so much better than just rushing into whatever Purples fall, as I see many do. I've tried to keep over 1100 melee/ranged evasion going into purples and its been quite a puzzle to be sure, making me sit on some drops as I go after others and use lithos. This is a really helpful piece of the puzzle.
So I’m on console and I have hundreds of Trait Unlock Stones but there’s no option for me to use them to unlock any traits🤷♂️ that whole menu that’s shown in the video does not show up.
The trait unlockstones are harder to get than just grinding for sollant. I highly recommend doing contracts and unlocking traits that way with trait conversion stones and paying outright because unlockstones are hard to come by and take much longer.
@syyndev2161 yeah it's true. In order to unlock the trait you need the exact piece of gear with that trait or to use unlock stones. Once it is "unlocked" we'll say, you can use any similar piece of gear for increasing the trait level(so helm for helm, boots for boots. Etc.)
good add on, you get double value when using trait stones on accessories. half the price, same stat values, often more expensive if you have good epics.
Bro why do you look like a doppelgänger of my brother, what kind of sorcery is this, wth - GGs on the vid btw, I hope your channel grows in proportion to the useful info you provide us!
I believe the weekly Two Tower bosses give trait unlock stones too. Also super important (I wasted a lot of stones rolling random), it costs LESS trait conversion stones if you have the extract of the trait that you need. (it will be greyed out unless it's on your person).
What happens if you convert a trait that is already maxed out? I mean... what happens if I have a maxed out 4/4 Undead Bonus Damage and I want to convert it to Critical Hit Chance? The Critical Hit Chance trait will be 4/4 or it will reset to 1/4?
wow I was looking for a Trait Unlockstone video didnt find any for days just used 100 stones for my weapon heavy hit chance trait unlock and now your video drops 😅 at least it saved me 750 lucent but I feel still not worth it
I dont get why they dont invest more resources into development of actual game content, instead the players are confronted with those convolutet gear progression systems.... game had me hooked but f that
Great video man. I commited to fully trait my bis blue gear, and its doable as f2p. As long I can get any item by playing i dont care for swipe. Whats the point in playing mmo and have max power day 1 :D.
I’d love to grind dungeons regardless but being solo it’s painful having to wait 15/20 mins for a group to then waste another 10 mins doing the dung just to find out only me and one other person knows the mechs and everyone leaves cus they don’t know what they doing. I’ve literally never finished temple of slaughter because of it.
Question - can you covert a maxed out trait? Lets say 4-bar health regen to max hp, or 4-bar undead dmg in weap to attack speed or heavy att? Would save a whole lot of lucent
man the auction house and economy of this game is awful like imagine if sollant was just the main currency and grinding small stuff like mining and selling the resources to players/npc was a viable method for sollant it would be insanely good i mean there should be 2 player driven marketplaces one being something smaller like a bazaar and then the bigger one for gear or traits being the auction house and instead of it entirely relying on lucent it should be an option to list your stuff for either lucent or sollant. the way the game is now no one would ever spend time to grind for a rare drop and then max it out to sell it for profit on the auction house since you can only use lucent on there and who tf is going to buy lets say 20k lucent for one item? the sense of economy just isnt there and i doubt they will ever rework it, right now the game just feels like you have no power at all
@@FakeUni Sorry, I thought you had the Shock Commander Greaves. I’ve been try to find a way to farm it, but it looks like it only drops from World Boss
I see many guides saying you should go for the Evasion traits but also heard a few people endurance is going to be better lategame. Can anyone explain which is actually best and in what way they differ?
As i know (im kinda new too) endurance is better for now, bcause eva best items are under unrealeased content and maybe cant be farmed as casuals...smthing about arch bosses or stuff like that 😅
it depends on which traits you have on your gear. if the item is already traited with two bad ones, considering three are good and three are bad (normally, not always), it has a 3/4 chance of the roll be a decent trait. If you already got two good ones, the chance of getting the third good trait it's 1/4. In fact, traits have different % of dropping, so this is not exactly precise, but works as a general idea.
Endurance is reduce the chance of getting hit by a critical hit! If the enemy has 500 critical hit rate and you have 500 endurance they never going to crit hit you!
If the item is exactly the same then YES! For example you have 2 shock commander helmet. First with meele endurance, the second with ranged endurance. If you "forge" it together you can have both traits in one gear at lv1. Which is usually 40 points.
Can you convert a trait that's maxxed out? Seems like it would save a LOT more to find a worthless trait, throw it on there, then max it out and then convert it since it takes a fraction of the stones.
Do armor only need 50 trait unlockstone to unlock trait? Because in my toublek bow i need 100. I messed up using 100 trait unlockstone for heavy attack chance. Should have used it on rarer armor traits.
Were on the same boat used 100 aswell for toublek staff heavy attack 😂 but its not tooo bad I think because its like 750 lucent still saved but yeah most people use them for items that are very rare and a really hard to get multiple copies of with different traits
@@thevalorantguy8615 nah there are like 8-14 traits you need to unlock in most builds that are mega expensive not nearly enough traitunlock stones for that they really just help with 1 item or 2. I don't know if this is new after the update but you can also get trait unlock stones from dynamic events.

the selling of item is really crazy
Can you sell your shock commander's trait after unlocking it via trait unlockstone?
You got to extract it with extraction stones but pretty sure it destroys the armor/weapon when you extract the trait to sell it on the auction house.

When you convert a trait do you lose levels in the trait converted
Yes
question: whats the. most efficient way to trait dungeon weapons?
Check the AH, or unlock how he showed on the video.
I got burned so hard on the random conversion. 3 rolls and missed the highest probability one everytime
Why endurance over evasion? Genuinely asking
Converting a lvl3 trait, does it convert to level 1/3?
from what i read the ah is cross server. So all the prices are the same. Prices are crashing big time because of bots
Yeah. The bots are going crazy.
