      biggest issue is the players being mean to new players, ive played for 3 weeks now., im loving the game.. but the community is mostly just toxic try hard people. and i think it makes a lot of new people quit. i myself have a think skin and i know others dont and they just find another game where players are nicer

      The game is extremely grindy, drop rates are trash, best gear is held by the top guild, or bought. Just not worth the time nor effort

      Alliances for sure, they kill world pvp completely.
      When there is too strong an alliance, no one goes to guild pvp events, conflict boses, etc.

      They need to bring high end items to the masses quickly. Like the rune system. They need to do it faster. Like the first week is for the top players, i'm ok with that, they are top and they deserve it , and the next week they need to bring It comes down to accessible activities to keep mid-level power players engaged. I am currently 3700 and tier 3 of any kind is not acceptable given I can't practice and have experience. All requests are from 4k onwards. It will probably take me about 1-2 weeks to get to 3900 so I will be behind.

      Yep, you said it right. It feels like a job than a game. I dropped this game as soon as POE2 came out. Never turned back. It's not worth my time to play that game.

    My burnout is trying to hang in a serious guild and the insane requirements they make for you to log consistently. Makes burnout

      Agreed I think serious guilds we like to fight and obtain a reward. Pretty much they like to dominate every boss conflict it burns you out showing up to conflicts, open dungeons, rift stones it gets tiring

      @@vanja7589 what makes you think I don’t touch grass? lol everything I said is facts bozo. The system whether your hard core or casual doesn’t make things easier. With the rune stuff the ppl that touch grass are going fall even more behind with gear. It’s not pay to win how it was with gear.

    The game still peaks at 62k players , is normal for any mmo to lose players steadily until it reaches a point where the true playerbase will remain . For me Throne is actually a good MMO with devs that are listening and making changes based on feedback and they do that fast .

      Listening sure right, bots, meele sucks since launch, fixing meele when?, charged skill still geting often stuck in animation. Game was more bugged than NW.

    Main issues for me (I have over 800h and left the game):
    Overall - everything feels like a job instead of fun, Do the co-op 1star 2star, whoops, you reached max limit of abyss contract tokens, gotta go there NOW. And for the people who play 24/7 it's bad also, when they finish every contract token, what are their options? Open world? 0 loot / Fishing? 0 loot / PvP? 0 loot / Quitting the game? yes please
    Updates: The game isn't even translated properly, lot of times you see Korean texts. Last patch I played, there was 9H downtime, that's insane. Every new patch brings 3-5 bugs, like the "Confidential-DO NOT SHARE" text over everyone's screen or when the guilds disappeared. Also the crashes for few patches after the launch of the game, when I caught a fish, my game would crash, when I was fighting my game would crash, when I was standing still my game .. would crash 3 times every day. Overall the company just seems very incompetent, even after just COPYING the game from Korea, they are incapable of releasing solid smooth running patches.
    Co-Op Dungeons - random dungeons ruined this system, worst idea ever. It takes just 3 votes in vote-kick to kick a member from a FULL party. Took them like 2months to fix the Q leaving. Loot drops could be better, like the 50 mobs you have to clear before main boss, they drop 0,0 nothing. + Same thing as you said - half of the playerbase knows mechanics before the patch.
    Guilds - Item destribution is SO random. Guild bosses are inconsistent and doesn't feel good to kill them (besides the first kill), make them harder and limit them to 1 kill per week, but make them drop EVERY single item they have.
    PvP - too much cc. 0 rewards for killing people, it feels horrible when I know I didn't get killed for loot/reward, I got killed just because ...
    World bosses - Too much peace bosses, Too little PvP bosses, so the few PvP bosses ALWAYS gets taken by top alliance (similar for boonstones - TOO LITTLE OF THEM)
    Alliances - Just remove them, the game isn't designed well for 280 people alliances. + There is no clear way to see who is friends with who, unless they willingly equip the same banner.
    Tax delivery and Castle siege - worst PvP experience in my life. From a POV of regular player you see 500 hostile players, who ALL want to kill you (for 0 reward) and you have like 5 FPS.
    Arena - This is just mine issue apparently, but my game crashes every time I try to join arena.

    TL challenge dungeons is the worst content i've ever seen and i'm not even a casual player, this content is bad and unfun even for hardcore players and i'm an example.
    1- doing pugs is a pain even at tier 3...
    2- it doesn't make sense the amount of new mechs we get at tier 3-5... it should escalate more gradually and tier5 shouldn't be hard because everyone need to do countless runs of t5 to grind blue runes
    3- "do with your friends with everyone using voice chat" yes i know it'll be better and more productive, but i just wanna chill and grind my blue 60 runes, let me have the option to grind for it easily and when i want i do some giga challenge tier 30 dungeon, that doesn't even make sense as well because the end season reward is trash or non existent, also, not everyone have 5 friends active all the time to do this shit
    4- also, it's the first time i see an mmorpg mix a challenge content with daily grind, like???? i feel i'm having to play lost ark legion raid hell mode but everyday and if i don't do it i don't progress in the game. what are devs even doing? stop mixing daily grind with challenge content lol
    this content is 100% killing the game

      You get runes from doing everything now you want easy runes go farm open world or world bosses. People crying because they want to be at the top but don't want to put the effort in is more damaging to the game.

    If this game is losing players it's the players fault for kicking each other out of raids , the worst part of this game is the toxic player base , the ability to kick people for seemingly no reason at all

      I went into a few dungeons where the Chinese player tells the group, if you die you will kick out. I see there's another person with chinese characters too. That person was the first one to die. Then I die and then the rest dies. I got booted for being the 3rd to die after his friend. I'm not sure who else got booted. I just ALT+F4 and watched youtube videos.

      You have to be extremely stupid to blame player behavior on the player and not game design. It is the devs' and designers' job to limit the areas for toxicity. The kicking is because there is no limit placed on serial kickers.

    1) grapple and f to interact is bugged and they insist on making it a part of everything
    2) perma cc - they haven't fixed the problem
    3) Some things just need a nerf, and instead of nerfing they are buffing... The power creep is real.

      @@RioKotobro, I am healer 4200. 22k HP. 80STR. Full melee and magic evasion set. Max as it possible to make. I thought it will help me to survive fucking CC from GS. Even tough I swiped my card a lot, one fucking root, and I’m done, no way I can save my ass. Even with Bow and Excavator. I’m just getting destryying. EVASION DOESNT WORK AT ALL! IT WORKS ONKY FOR REGULAR HIT BUT NIT FOR FUCKING SKILLS… How I supposed to know about it? I made one more build, with endurance, same shit, can’t survive one CC.

    whether current players base agrees or not , archboss weapons really destroyed alot of the fun in pvp , they are just game breaking weapons and honestly if someone disagress either they have this weapon or they are delusional

The staff is OP too, but I have only seen 1 player using it on my current server, but we have like 8 x bows. They suck to fight but not all arch weapons are that op. Some just give really good utility like bellandir s&s and spear. Tevent greatsword just gives gs users a chance to do some AOE damage like all the other classes already do.

    I quit today after being in a top guild on a top server since the start, got first legion and never lost a rift or boonstone, we were really still flying high and having fun. Despite that, the schedule required to keep numbers at these pvp events + all the daily chores just got to be too much, so that's that.

    As someone who left the game after being in the #1 Alliance and Guild on the server:
    - The game does not reward good mechanical skills. PvP is awful
    - CC is still too long and new stones don't do shit
    - Dimensional Trial is annoying af
    - Dailies are boring but not doing them feels bad so I still had to do them
    - Being in top guild and working full-time led to burn-out from the game. We had to go to sauro every night and make sure we get or keep the rain skill.
    There is so much more unfortunately. I did like the game and it had potential

      More love to dagger/gs players, instead all these tornado and flashwave spamm which killes 10 person instant. An dagger/GS cant do that. Ye we stun alot, but dont have such high dmg out which flashwaves do. You cant run nowhere in battles. Only flashwave spamm everywhere, and seeing 13 -20K kills from archers in Ranking. Pathetic.

    I stopped doing co op dungeons altogether, other players get mad if you don't know the mechanics and my brain is already full, I don't have room to memorize 20 boss fights.

      Tell a p2f(p2w you skip hrs with a fraction of money) or p2w players that is p2w who are ruining the game.
      And the problem is you for can't spend 100/300 dollars x month.
      Tell a pvp player that you only want to explore and they problem if you because he only wants to hunt life players.
      Say something about they balance and they gonna call you bad player.
      Say something about they grind time, and they guy without family or relationship will criticize you about he spending 10k hrs without problems.
      The actual problems in the industry are the players.
      For some reason they like be tested.

      A majority of pve MMOs have pve players more so the PvP players
      85% of TnL is pve. I love the pve in game so idk why you sound so damn hostile with me.
      What I don’t like is the community and talking to you I can see why even the pve players are damn hostile and here I thought that was only the PvP players who wanted to bum rush pve content and get back to arena

    I think people get toxic in dungeons because they get in with very different expectations. Some want to learn it, some are still perfecting it but need more practice and some have the dungeon on farm and they want to zoom through it. The random matchmaking system group all those type of players together and noone gets what they want out of the run.

    All CC needs a nerf, me as a bow/staff, tornado is my Cc for large scale PvP, dagger can lock you in place with the chains and if it’s a dagger xbow lock and spin, done dead, GS can lock you in place and kill you with 1 combo. Bow can CC multiple players but CANNOT kill players with 1-2 buttons.

    I stopped running T2 dungeons for two reasons:
    1. I master only 4 boss out of all the T2
    2. I always receive rare gear after completing T2, which is awful. The reward to effort ratio isnt balance.

      Bro u don’t do those for drops, u do those for tokens 😅 abyssal and dimensional tokens, so u can buy the chest at sundries. I think I’ve only gotten the drop I want like 1 time, however the 2 star chest are a huge source of lucent gain for me 😂, some of the traits on those rings go up to 500-700

    Yeah, Tornado is an issue, but I hate the fact that only it is brough up all the time. CC in this game has a general rule of just being too fucking long. Tornado airtime is just to high the very same way gs stun is applied for too long. Reduce this garbazo alltogether. Yeah remove tornado for all I care, but then also tune gs stuns so that players have a very short time in which they have to pull off their combo and if they can't, that's a fail. Give the weapon some skillceiling.
    Yeah tornado is killing the melee fun and in the same way GS kills the range fun. There's nothing fun about laying on the floor for what seems an eternity, when the guy can kill you in 2 seconds to begin with. It's just too foolproof to work, it requires no brain capacity.
    So yeah, nerf CC. But then nerf all of it.

    Biggest problems...Flash wave still broken heals broken, unobtainable BiS weapons for vast majority on any servers, servers run by huge alliances and unofficial alliances, respawn times too short for kills so even when a smaller guild might make huge outplay enemy guilds just run right back in within 15 seconds, community is toxic to the point people dont even try to teach mechanics for trails or something as simple as t2, guild leaders hold sole power of highjacking item, Daily chore list grows with each new aspect of game (T1 > T2 > Rune trials > Token burn) requirement for daily play in guilds because vast number of events, the list seems endless at this point lol

    One thing about the stats is that, you don't even have an efficient way to test out what the formula is in the game. Eg. For a healer, how skill damage boost, bonus damage, skill heal increase, critical chance, magic critical chance, heavy attack, magic heavy attack (just thought of these) calculated up together? It's almost impossible to test out because of the constant RNG rolling between the two base damage numbers on your weapon.

      They giving us a personal Dps Meter apparently but will probs be just on dummy too. I want to see Dps meter introduced during encounters in REAL fights where you can see how gear/rotations are effected in real content.

      @@DeepUnknown3281 They cant do it because of that RNG. Your damage jumping from 5% to 100% of your actual critical hit chance / heavy attack chance(doubles critical). Sometimes I hit the same boss with 40 k dmg multiple 2 and sometimes with 5 k without multiplying. I am talking about beloved GS guilotine skill .... Not mention PvP.... I have killed best killer on the server today 1vs1 because I rolled better crits then him it was all nothing else...

      @@DeepUnknown3281as a dps, I wish I can check my dmg distribution anytime I like in dungeons, so I can see how my build is reflected in terms of dmg, better yet, classification of dmg u are doing (crit, magic, physical, healing etc), so far literally the ONLY way is to hit the 1mil hp dummy and see how fast I can obliterate it 😂

    you just forgot the main reason people quit T&L, there's not enough pvp content, you have to pve to improve your stuff pvp, skill cap , even you are a good player pvp you loos again vs player who have better stuff... it's not a casual game if you want to perform.... and no RvR??? and last but not least, we kneew all the content before the released in europe....

    Just to note some of the most frustrating issues with TNL as someone who's played 1k hours and has done most of the content, both from a big guild player perspective and a small guild player perspective.
    PVP:
    - The biggest issue is the guild alliances and the 'zerging', the way people inside these alliances are allowed to play the game is ridiculous, it just sucks all of the fun out of the PVP and honestly I don't know how NCSOFT can fix the issue, because even removing alliances would not fix the issue, although that would be a good start.
    Guild alliances should ONLY exist in castle siege or the tax event and the total players per guild should be lowered to 50.
    The community are contributing to the toxic aspects of the game, things such as:
    There's guilds that aren't even alliance that work together on some servers, that don't start hitting or fighting each other until the small guilds leave. I don't really see what purpose having 300+ people at a conflict boss all from the same alliance benefits the gameplay at all aside from those players.
    - Because of the above, it's a numbers game in almost any and all PVP content. This removes ALL player skill expression from the game and you feel helpless when you want to engage in any PVP content as everything is monopolized, it's a really toxic system.
    - Bow tornado and flash arrow need to be removed completely, this is absolutely the most absurdly broken skills I've seen in ANY PVP game, not even league of legends has shit like this.
    - Game is heavily CC based, time being stunned needs to be lowered and reworked.
    PVE:
    - 1 star dungeons are a walk in the park, which is great for casual people. Not everything needs to be difficult.
    - 2 star dungeons bosses are damage sponges and just take way too long to kill, it's not that the mechanics per say are 'hard' it's that you must consistently complete them in quick succession because of the damage sponge, someone will make a mistake (whether it be from ping, or repetitiveness) I'm sure this will get alleviated by having 2star weapons, but if this continues to 3 star dungeons I don't see the game lasting longer then a year or 2 with the current playerbase and will definitely diminish to just the hardcore players or whales.
    Trials:
    This content is just not fun or rewarding, the damage sponge issue carries over here.
    Locking the vast majority of rune gains behind this content is bad, sure you could technically stack contract tokens and get the runes from events and open world dungeons, but you will eventually be out scaled by those hardcore players who are trying to be the best; most of the top guilds are already requiring high level runes now.
    Ultimately TNL had a lot of potential, but some design decisions if not addressed will kill this game, I suspect a lower playerbase then BDO in a year or 2 because of this.
    Hopefully NCSOFT and amazon can make changes to these aspects.

      Great post. Totaal agree with most. Especially describing the feeling of the 2star dungeon. After three times proven to be able to beat the mechanic the boss still is on half life. Making a little mistake is killing, gives the others a harder and longer time and you stand at the start praying. And finally you get you blue item wich is way under the level of the dungeon. So i need gear to complete this dungeon and in reward return i get gear that wouldnt qualify to beat that same dungeon. Thats just silly. And last week i had 0 purples in 2 star dungeon. Zero. Well thats after 15 games kinda frustrating, im getting nowhere just keep my coins meter not at the max.

    The unexplained stats for me are the most frustrating thing, e.g. I raised the "Mana regen" a lot and when I'm in Stonegard castle I read 1700 but when I enter any Open dungeon, 1 star, 2 Stars or Dimensional trials content the stat is lowered to 1062. The reason for this change is not explained in the game...
    Then I read yesterday on reddit that if you have the "Skill Heal" at 60% do a tot. of care, but if you have it like me at 101% you don't do 41% more but only 6% which makes no sense!

    Targeting and balance are killing my desire to play this game. Its come abvery long way from where it started. I expected to only play this game for a month ir two if i played it at all, but i was inpressed with the combat changes and how they changed development course to give us what we have today. There are just too many broken skills in the game that other mmo's already hit themselves with for t&l to make the same mistakes. Everyone hates flashwave, but its not even the problem with bow kit. Its the tornado. Everyone hates guillotine, but again thats not even the issue with gs kit. Its his reliance on getting cc's to even be allowed to do damage to his enemies. Tanks are horrendously over tuned. They can kill most players while most players can not kill them. Healing for templars and bow/wand users is too powerful. In a game where you can go invis, you would think that would be the greatest issue with balancing, but its not even close. To top it all off, even when you do get a good fight, your targeting (especially on console) has a mind of its own. Even after you hand select every single option to tailor it to behave how you want it to, it doesnt. Large scale fights like arch bosses runs like shit, and targeting bombers in your ball is just not happening fast enough. The game gets some kind of laggy ass delay that makes it take 5 to 8 seconds to target that one person who has likely already finished his bombing rotation. Then you have all of the ui issues like your quick slot items not popping or showing cd, etc and you just arent having a good time. If they fix these things i will be very happy with ncsoft and once again be able to recommend this game to mmo enjoyers.

    Great video as always, great points.
    On top of what you listed, here's what made me quit the game as a pvp player:
    - The lack of regular medium scale pvp content (no battlegrounds)
    - The current boonstone / riftstone pvp (it's plain lazy and uninspired / not fun imo)
    - The lack of guild wars (like in Bdo or even Tera)
    - The absence of open world pvp / pk
    - The lack of pvp based progression
    - The pve rune grind

    So here's my thoughts if they made small-scale servers that would bring life to the game, most gamer groups are only like 6 or six people anyway so server's scaled for solo and small groups would boom the life while the big servers would give people who want mass something to do

    My issues on this game are:
    - Targeting
    - Large scale pvp (there is no fun on this kind of PVP)
    - Amount of cc's
    - Toxic players that think they own your life
    - Bad alliance system
    - Dimensional trials. The issue that you can do them until lvl 3 with randoms, but after that you need kinda static party and is not always posibile
    - Lack of activities on pve, there are no evergreen activities on this game.
    -Everything is limited, by some kind of tokens, of some kind of stone or currency.
    - The tirany of the guilds and how they can control the drops and many good players were scamed because this system makes it possible.
    - Lack of trade system. I am playing with friends and we just cant help each other but trading some traits, or items, etc. We lost so much lucent by trying to help each other selling those items for 10 lucent, with the hope they can get it, but because of the market bots, we realize we losing to much.
    Just waiting for other games (like Aion2) and I will quit too.

    I think the main problems with dungeons are the bosses have too much hp and players are constantly pressed for time. This was only amplified by the dimensional trials. Running 1st and 2nd tier dungeons to then turn around again and basically run 2nd tier again for runes gets really repetitive. Nobody has an hour to spend teaching people since the hours are spread thin to begin with. The system is set up to be unforgiving and maximize efficiency.

    Honestly - big reason why I will take a long pause/ quit the game for now is mostly the fact that I got to the point where the only content I engage with is dungeons, something I loved in the beginning became sth I rly don't want to engage with anymore. Less because of the community - I got kicked maybe once or twice and otherwise had somewhat fun groups. More because dungeons and their mechanic just become unfun as f. You get punished way too hard for tiny mistakes you or another member of your group is makin. It gets incredibly unfun and frustrating and I seriously don't need that shit in an MMO. If endgame wasn't... well... 90% of the game, then I might've not had an issue with that. But you get into the endgame after bout 6-10 hours. And the content is incredibly boring after 200-300 hours. Currently, all people I know grind the shit out of rune dungeons - that just is a big no thx for me. This world had so much to offer but they went for this slop of an endgame.
    All my current endgame as a pve player boils down to is - grind 2 specific dungeons each week, do a tiny bit of OW dungeon grinds for random shit and contracts, do a few contracts for weekly mission (tho with the addition of cooking contracts, I can speedrun that shit with ease). There is nothing to explore, no more interesting quests, no new fun pve content to engage. Fishing and cookin got a nice small update but that ain't enough. This game has a great start and ends horribly. I got 200 hours out of it and quit. and maybe 30-40 hours out of that where me discovering new quests, areas and new content. That is incredibly low for an MMO imo.

    As a father of 2 kids under 4 and working a job full time I actually appreciate all the content I can participate in, even avoiding PvP for now while I try to grind some decent gear, I’m currently just below 2700cp but it’s enough to be able to grind 1 star dungeons and farm ore to try and trait and level up my purple weapons….
    I felt I wanted a break from grinding and no problem, I can work on fishing, cooking and exploration codex.
    Overall I think TL is a great looking game with lots to keep people interested, the main people who I hear complaining there’s too much to do are the ones who want to be on top. Fair enough but if you want to be the best at anything you have to work hard at it

    biggest problem imo is the pvp system. No balance, and there is no endgame content only if you are inside the top hc guilds with the top alliances... smaller guild or most of the guilds are locked out from endgame content

    Problems with this game,
    1) you can buy top level gear with cash and spend the next 3 months on top of the world, slaughtering everyone in sight.
    2) nearly half of the population buys top level gear, just so they can "have fun" because the game isn't fun unless you're winning.
    3) Targeting.
    4) etc.

    Scummy Asian Game tactics paying to refresh tokens to do Dungeons and Abyssals and Contracts. It just became repetitive and almost like a chore. I stopped enjoying. Unfortunately I had already spent $100 plus the supporter pack. Id rather go back to WoW

    the biggest problem is clearly that it's made by nobodies. Real mmos (only 4 exist: wow, ffxiv, eso, guild wars 2) are backed by companies with billions of dollars to throw around & experiment with and who can make months worth of content in months, just look at eso's infinite archive & how they went back and updated it to make it even more replayable not too long after, they never forget their old content & keep expanding on it just like tales of tribute as well.

Throne and Liberty has a lot of time gated events from Riftstone to Arch Boss and that’s for No Lifers! This game is for people who have no lives!!!!!!       that was fixed when they added fortitude. 30 fortitude cuts prone time by 70% gs dagger is now a dead class because of it. unfortunately you have to build a little bit of resistance and lower down the insane damage bows output in pvp

    the problem with cc is not the duration nor the type, its that you can chain it without any restriction or diminishing returns.
    chained cc should have cc immunity added or duration reduced the more time you are cc'd so in paper only one combo should kill you, but if they fuck up the combo they are doomed as you will be immune or cc will just act as cast silence/cancelling.(like 0.1 per cc applied past the treshold).
    this will make the cc heavier classes far more healthy and countereable.

      @ what they added is trash, i play as a gladiator right now, i usually get 0’d to death when there is a ravager and templar as enemies. Or when there are 2 bow players i can barely move because of snaring arrow. Thats why im calling that, the cc barrier is trash in most scenarios.

      @ i dont think my build is bad at all, this is not a build problem its about chain cc. I can dodge straffings and a lot of ranged attack as im built around ranged evasion(not as strong as using daggers of course) the thing is, cc duration and the fact that they still can be chained eternally is the bad thing. Even if the barrier gives you cc immunity(which dont last shit) if you get out of combat the build up resets. As i said before, effectiveness should be reduced by each cc applied, this change wont affect as much for GS players as prone duration is extended by heavy attacks, but any subsequent application will do.

    Great video! I completely agree when it comes to dungeons. It sucks that you can't just enter a dungeon and experience it for the first time and instead feel forced to have to look up a guide and have the entire dungeon spoiled as a result. Targeting and lag are also super frustrating in this game.

    Ok, I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but in regards to the toxicity in dungeons, I have a 2 things to say 1. There are a lot of players jumping into the 2 star dungeons as soon as they hit the CP minimum and though it is technically achievable its much harder to accomplish players need to progress and play and learn the 1 stars before worrying about running 2 stars or if they are a lower CP they need to do them with friends who know what they are doing so that they can help! 2. I personally think having some sort of revive skill for the healers would actually help with a lot of the toxicity you can make them only available in co-op dungeons to make sure its not too op in pvp or find some way to balance it to be usable in pvp but that would help the newer players in the dungeons to stay alive longer and have more chances to learn the dungeons mechanics!
    (Edit) with your solution I think the game should drop a tip after you are killed by a mechanic giving you an idea of what to do next time that way you can learn from the mistake you made and get a better idea of how to avoid it the next time. Make it a learning process getting better each time you play the boss!

    The greatest ally on SA region was POISON, leaders left the game like 2 weeks ago and proyect is closed, they bored because of domination and no competition at all, also no server merges, half map still locked and no real ranked pvp, they had nothing to fight for, thats what they told me. Game is not that good as it should be, at least on global region.

    The reviews on Steam speak for themselves and won’t help the game attract new players in the long run. The game had a lot of potential, but it took the wrong path right from the start. I crafted my gear for around 40k Lucent and had to grind like crazy to get there (4.4k gs) but grinders aren’t rewarded in this game. Instead, the devs seem focused on not upsetting casual players, constantly rolling out 'quality of life' updates. Right now, the auction house has completely crashed, and you can craft the same gear I have for just 4-8k with all the traits. XD So basically, I got punished for grinding while new players get rewarded for doing nothing. The game has so many issues, and he didn’t even mention all the bugs and terrible weekly updates!

    Single biggest issue is the CC for me.. It is just IDIOTIC. You give daggers a "bind with a silence" which is basically a stun. And you give 4 stuns to greatswords, and all kinds of other sleep petrify etc. etc. etc. list goes on. You get stunlocked for 10 seconds straight. I am a staff main and even with purification stone and Talus staff I cant move or use my spells 90% of the time .
    Like at least let me use some spells, every goddamn CC locks your skillbar. There has to be a difference between kinds of CCs, but every CC in this game is a hard CC like a stun, there is almost no soft CC like slow, every CC literally prevents you from playing which is 100% frustrating. There is literally no counterplay, most of these CCs cant be dodged or avoided, at least make the skills require "skill" by making them a "skil"shot, but NO every CC is click-target. There is no counterplay .
    And there is the Evasion - hit chance equation which is a problem in on itself. Tanks can build 1000000 evasion but you are only allowed to have a couple 100 hit chance if that. They want people with 10 iq to be able to play this game, ones with no skill, ones that can press 1 button and lock you for 10 seconds , or move around like a meatbag for 60 seconds and tank 30 people.
    Thats why the combat feels clunky in addition to the already hard targeting. PvP sucks because it favors braindead CC
    I have played 100s of online games, especially MMOs and MOBAs never in my life I have seen such LONG and STACKING and HARD CC put all together. They have to be adjusted, duration decrease, make them skillshots instead of click target, give some counterplay for it.
    I am not even exaggerating, I can literally send you videos of me being stunlocked for 15-20 seconds straight.

    There is no point in gaming anymore. Every MMO that comes out is another WoW clone with some HAMSTER WHEEL SHIT and a gatcha shop. I miss the simplicity of Ultima Online (pub 16) but i can't play a 2000-2005 circa graphic. I don't want to level, i don't want to gear or if i do I want it to be easily replacable and only account for 10% of me "winning". I don't want an endless stack of systems cause they are never really organic. Albion Online for example, comes close to a UO clone but the problem I have with AO is... it's more or less a mobile cross platform MMO. And it's missing SOOOOOO much of what made UO, UO.

    as someone who considered taking up this game it seems like an impossible task to even become competitive unless you're willing to spend days/weeks/months grinding your way up to obtain the necessary gear and skills while getting wrecked at every turn along the way. not really my idea of fun, so i think i'll give it a pass. ymmv, ofc.

    Using generative AI to program for you without adequate QA leaves a situation on consoles where one patch the part chat breaks, then global chat, then the party system breaks together, and no one fixes it. And the controls and targeting system are still clunky. And the console players are locked into matchmaking with their oen declining servers so the wait times are terrible. It is frustrating.

    Ok if you want tornado to be deleted then take away 3 stuns from GS to make it fair :). The solution to fix something you dont like isnt to just delete it. YOU only hate tornado specifically because thats the only AOE CC a bow player has. Meanwhile GS can stun me, silence me, prone me, then slam their sword on my head for 30k damage. Im pretty sure its ok bow users have a tornado :)

    People are leaving the game because of NcSoft. I saw all NcSoft games die and the company haven't learned. I have played Lineage from early days and saw how this awesome game was just destroyed by greed. Imagine, Throne and liberty been developed for more than 10 years and they didn't even managed to make proper crafting or any other system! It's literally like an indie game created by five people with absolutely no meaning. It's made for short-term cash grabs. What works in Korea, won't work the same way in the West.
    And hey! When they released it in Korea, I was there, just because of Lineage 2 nostalgia. I said, this game won't survive in the West a year.

People still didn't read it and wipes happened left and right even if you begged them to open the tab and read the guide. People just likes to go blind ig and that's when others get frustrated because it's time wasted when they could be partying with people who knows what to do and get it done with to progress

      bro reaching lvl 50 is just start of the progression, u my friend didnt dig deep enough. for example Traits, Skills, Masterys, Runes all of this is progression of a character which u need to do to make ur character strong, only lvl 50 means nothing apart form using all skills. But base lvl skills doens tcome close to maxed out.

      Because mmorpgs are boring as hell. Ironically, WoW success ruined mmorpg genre, leaving behind some of the most innovative ideas we got: trio of characters from Granada Espada, separate battle fields and whole squad battle system from Atlantika Online, action combo gameplay from Blade and Soul, world events instead of quests from Guild Wars 2, story heavy progression from SWTOR, etc.
      WoW success ruined chances for genre evolution because many investors and FOMO players as well got too overfocused on formula introduced by Everquest, which means that any new idea only has one chance to take off before being considered unsuccessful and not worth investing economically and "entertainengly".

    For me as a tank spec;
    - Constant CC chain stunning.
    - Poorly explained dungeon mechanics, same with the stats mentioned in the video.
    - Clunky combat, a known bug is you run slower when trying to auto attack as melee.
    - Targeting hard as heck both dungeons and PVP.
    - Feels like a 24-7 job just to see some sense of progression having to defend your boonstone / riftstone, grind materials for guild skills etc etc.
    - Top guilds not giving others chance to grow, sure I love competition but if that 4k GS player goes up and up and you are 1k behind you are not catching them.

    The community is the biggest problem. My solution is add bounty hunters and bounty targets. To become a bounty hunter get x amount of kills. When you kick to many people from a dungeon or get reported for toxicity you become a bounty target for 48 hours. When your a bounty target bounty hunters can attack you in open dungeons regardless of time of day. PvP players get more PvP content. Toxic players get punished

    First, this is not a complete solo game. Most content you can do alone, join random parties or Co-op Dungeons. PVP, you need to be in a guild. It's that simple and was DESIGNED to be played in a guild and or alliance.
    Second, the game does not require you to log in every single day. I have played numerous MMO's and I love that tokens and contracts stack. Yes eventually they reach max cap, but you can do what you want when you want. 3800 gear score and I don't play every day. Choose your path, make a plan, and play.
    Third, rune system does not require you to do Trial dungeons for more runes. It's your choice. Get your run synergies and just play, it's literally just extra stats. Min/Max runes is for end game PVPer's.
    Fourth, Co-Op or OW dungeon drops with valuable traits just extract and sell. Full traiting your gear isn't supposed to be done in a month. No life the game, and yes you can.
    Fifth, you speak of stats. I'm not understanding how stats are confusing. It's a rock/paper/scissor system. Go play BDO if you want one attack power stat and one defensive power stat. The rest of the stats in that game are crap and have been crap since launch. They're irrelevant. Literally a game that hid gear stats from players for a number of years with zero explanation.
    The game is being adjusted and addressed. It's nice having developers who listen to feedback and make changes. The primary problem is the current generation of players. Too many people want everything now, not have to work to acquire BiS gear, and easy mode. I don't know what game to direct these people to, because I don't play those games. It seems every game out is either: "too hard", "feels like a job", "too much grind", "too many people", "too much content", "I just want to PVP", "I want to play by myself".

      But in this case, people are leaving, so the devs are addressing the reasons why. They understand that almost no one will complain if runes or gear are offered through more content. Almost no one will complain if weekly dungeon tasks are lowered. Afterall, this is a game designed for the most grind friendly country, and even they thought it was too much.
      BTW, I used the word "content" appropriately. I stated life, not the game. Break out of your brainwashed ideology. You really will be more content in life and not lash out at people who want rational changes to a system that is not working.

      I mean you’ll just keep hearing it, but you wont really notice it unless you do participate on those sieges and hardcore guilds. One guild/zerg dominating a server causing problems for PVP players resulting into either changing servers or quitting.
      Am a pure PVE player, we good, but we do need more PVE content or any content in general, rune farming ain’t it.
      These are the main 2 reasons players are quitting from what I’ve noticed.

      We are still in launch number drop territory. This is how every MMO launch goes, it's far too early to tell if the game is dying.
      Check any other MMO on steam charts around release. Launch month has biggest numbers, then they lose around 50% on month 2, between another 50-30% around month 3, and then month 4 they hit a baseline that starts going up or down depending on in-game content drops and community sentiment. We are just over the month 2 line and player numbers are still very healthy for an MMO.

    I'd say they need to fix controller support. IDK if it's the same way with console players, but If I want to type, I have to hit a button first on keyboard so the game can lag to UI change to controller deactivated mode, then I can type, and wait again for the UI to switch back to controller activated mode. No game I have ever played has done this and it's a major problem. Communicating in content with a group, leaves me unable to do anything as I type, and wait... Also due to this lag input I will find sometimes it didn't even open the chat window, while the whole time I was typing away.

    Why is Throne and Liberty dying? Oh, I don’t know-maybe because it’s a dumpster fire of a game. Pay-to-win garbage with more PvE fluff than actual PvP action. The devs expertly sabotage their own player base with endless difficulty tiers and gear power creep so absurd, you’d think they were trying to write a manual on how to ruin a game.
    And let’s not forget the pièce de résistance: a $2-3k weapon (arch bow) that obliterates anything lower-tier so hard, it’s like they want casual players to uninstall immediately. Honestly, any game that stoops this low can just f*** off into obscurity where it belongs.
    But wait, there’s more! Enter the Peons of the world, handing out glowing 10/10 reviews like they’re rating grandma’s cookies. Absolute clownery.

      Did you ever play a real old school MMO? Were raid bosses will drop unique items (usually with their name in it), the bosses would respawn once each 1 or 2 weeks in a time frame of +-12 hours, so you would have to camp with your guild and alliance for the time being and on top of the above all zones were pvp, so you would have to fight againts the server to be able to just enter to battle the boss. Also, just to enter the boss you would have to do a quest that were usually 4 to 5 hours long. If you didn't have that experience I get your concern, but if you played any of the older MMO's, you would understand how easy throne and liberty is. is it grindy ? Yes it is, but you can actually get the items if you put the hours.
      I'm not defending old way to do MMO's, but this one is definitely on the players friendly side.

      @@MatznerRL I did, I played DAoC. I played EVE Online. Way more PvP and more interesting PvE in both of them than in T&L. I do not mind PvE grind. I organized ML runs in DAoC which would start on a Friday evening and end on a Sunday evening. But it was one or two weekends and then you would just PvP to get your realm points in and spend them on PvP abilities.
      In T&L you just circle jerk by running the same dungeons over and over again. For shitty PvP. Pathetic.

    Biggest issue for me is pvp world boss. Top guild high the area. Casual f2p since launch and didn't get a chance to play world boss. This mass pvp only event will drive casual players away.

    Daggers Camouflage its annoying as hell... its like having an extra CC purification stone, very unfair.
    Shadow Strike can target people even if they are 10m above or below from you... for a 10s cooldown skill while Death From Adove for example (which its an minute long cooldown skill) if the target its 3m adove or below you cant use the skill.
    Daggers needs a nerf, its just too good of an utility weapon and main reason of why 90% of the playerbase uses it, Devs should nerf and buff weapons based on how % they are used by the playerbase like in other many games.
    Building CC resistances on this game its pointless, doesnt matter if you have 1000 of Colission Resistance that you are still gonna get lift up by Tornados, they should remove the diminishing returns on CC resistances and instead of giving 4% per 10 points, giving 1% per 10 points, so having 1000 of resistance to Colission vs 300 Colission chance from your target means you will have 70% of resistance.

      Yeah, dagger is too OP. Camouflage is just insane indeed and literally 90% is dag.
      Cc is busted tho by design. Same fo GS.
      As for cc resistances - it’s just a shit system, as every cc skill has its base chance and stats for chance/resist come into play only after that chance. Thus we have plenty of skills with “has 80% chance to CC target” and ur personal chance stat will only fill up extra 20% as well as target’s resistance can also counter those 20% but not basic 80%. I dunno how dumb should be a person to design such a system

    cus there is no DPS meter in a MMORPG game. there is no threat meter either. there is no database or official statement about loot % and how things really work. its always so cryptic and no one really knows. but id ignore all of it for a DPS meter. im the strongest in the group. i think or i dont know maybe, atleast im doing better than i did last week. i think. or i dont know maybe....

    I left because once you get to a certain point and have to do dungeons to get good gear, and most people kick you out of groups if you dont have good gear. I dont play a game that I have to watch videos on how to play, I just wanna play..... So your stuck. Playing POE2 now, its much better.

    I have collision resistance 900++ and still get knocked up a lot, it's annoying, I feel like collision resistance doesn't work and all those time invested farming to get the collision resistance build had just gone to waste, hence I'm quitting the game.

      @@feight_28 The purpose of getting coll res to over 800 is so tornadoes doesn't knock you up when you dive the enemy backliners. Tornadoes gives tick damages, each ticks has a chance of collision, multiple tornadoes will definitely have a chance of knocking you up, unless you block it. Tested in arena even with a single tornado and it still knocks you up. Do your own research before flaming others, at the moment tornado is bugged

    I love to grind abyss dungeons for runes, i get ~1.5 runes per minute. Way faster then trials since i need ~60 minutes for one trial dungeon tier 4. I gave up on higher levels of trials, i just do 7 low level trials each week for the weekly reward.

For the first 2 weeks I was about to quit because I didn't know how to get the blue runes since I didn't have any.G raid and trials time. They need to do it faster, just 1 week when I'm between decisions to continue or quit. And now I can get lv 30-40 of runes coming from Abyss and dynamic events. Compared to the top players who are level 50, I'm not bad since I have Abyss runes.

    My guild is mostly PVE. I have noticed a clear skill gap being shown with Trials. 3+ trails are making people be more selective in groups. Leaving a lot of folks feeling left out.

    6:24 I think the real issue is that a lot of the mechanics can't be sight read. And this is even more so when we start looking at the jank Trails added.
    Voidwastes and to a lesser extend TCoS can be sight read the easiest. Voidwastes clearly states on the debuff to not let the count hit 30, and TCoS just has the ordering mechanic which isn't too hard when you figure out how to shuffle players properly. Carmine and IoT are the two most difficult to sight read for 2 star runs and all of these get harder when trails add more mechs.

    I legit no kidding. Ran past the tank, didnt even get any mobs just was moving faster. The party leader goes "why are you running past the tank" and then kicks me... I don't think its the games issue, Its people who play it. They need to relax and remember their playing a video game.

    frankly, im surprised they haven't just scrapped pvp entirely and gone the way of pve. hot take, but the pvp content is just dogshit compared to pve in this game.

    The player base was always going to stabilise at around 30-40k the fact it still at 60-70k is a huge accomplishment the truth of the matter is that it is a niche game

    for trials would be better if they do:
    T1-10 only gray runes the higher the tire the more u get and the boss / mobs have more hp do more dmg.
    T11 - 20 only green and u get the added mech and amount of rune drop increase as u go higher and higher
    T21 - 30 only blue and u get the added mech and amount of rune drop increase as u go higher and higher
    Then they just have to balance the difficulty for this, and we have reason to go and try to grind on higher tire and not spamming only T5 cause that is the most efficient way with T1 gear.

      Lol...I bet you can't do things that are to overwhelming or you don't want to learn about new things...People are being like snowflake these days...You can get runes easily,and you can get them for special bonuses

      I mean why? Me personally, a pure pve player, I’ve only done the rune farm 3 times am not farming that shit so am just ignoring it. As long as I got my rune synergies am fine.
      But we do need more ways to obtain them. They did kinda help in that way in the last update but no where near enough.
