- Hey guys! Graphic tees are super trendy this summer but they can be pretty expensive. So I decided to do a super simple DIY that you can do in 30 minutes or less. Hope you enjoy and come up with some unique prints! If you do, don't hesitate to share them with us:

I've been scrolling through the comments and been seeing some of the same questions, and since I'm bored I'll answer them for you.
*Is it washable? Yes it's totally safe & will not get torn off
*Whats the paper called? Transfer paper
*Can I use something other than transfer paper? Nope
*Where can I find transfer paper? Craft stores like Michaels

this is awesome! so is this washable in a washing machine once its finished?
It might start to chip away at the edges over time, but wash it inside out so it'll last longer. But yes, it can be machine and hand washed.

photoshop is really expensive but gimp is free and a lot like photoshop so I would suggest getting it.
Just google the photo you want, usually try finding a transparent image if you want a photo of a certain object. Also, you don't need photoshop just google an image editor and that's it x

So you stole someone's image off google and made your own shirt. That's called copyright infringement. Some hard working artist created that design or photograph and you ripped it off, be proud!

Well the Nike logo may not look like hard work either. But you can't just go steal it, put it on a Hanes Tshirt and call it Nike.
plenty of places online to find royalty free images and royalty free images for commercial use. but really if you are just a regular joe/jane without a huge instagram following and you just made yourself a tshirt you are pretty much guaranteed to not have anyone knocking on your door for copyright infringement. use common sense and you'll be fine.
I do it all the time! I even print Nike and Polo on t-shirts. Been doing it for 8 years...lol

no it won't stain if it's already dried...but if you do put it in the wash it has to be in cold water or it will crack
what printer did you use?
I was wondering if this works on tights of on jeans? I kind of want to make some black jeans (or whatever type of pants work lol) with my favourite band logo on it. Does it work?

How was it after you washed it in the washing machine? I'm just curious to how well it holds onto the material... did it fade off? Great job! & thanks for sharing doll.
unless you buy a really terrible brand of transfer paper, it'll be fine. There's also washing instructions on the packages, too. Like, mine says to wash it inside out the first time to really set the design in. Also, if the design peels up anywhere, just put it back under the iron. Chances are if it's peeling up you didn't iron well enough the first round. Which happens to the best of us, so don't fret ;)

You usually just have to flip it inside out, and wash normally, it should be good
(Cold water)
1) print out a photo and cut it out
2) place onto shirt onto ironing board
3) lay your picture on the shirt
4) put some parchment paper over the picture
5) iron it on
6) wait 24 hours before washing
BOOM

Hi, Does it need an exact size to have an image that is not too big nor too small... Can you tell me what size that is please? (first time doing it)...Or I will just print it to know the size? but it takes a lot of ink if I will just print it on an ordinary paper just to know the size...Can someone help me please..

those sheets do not work on dark coloured t shirts as they're transparent and you;d need an extra step in between

Screen printing and iron transfers are not the same thing.
Wow very simple. I watched the entire vid and I didn't think that it was a waste of time. You showed us how to get coupons and discounts on the items from Michaels or Joanna's( everyone needs those) then you explained printing out an image at the perfect size then you showed how to properly place image on a plain tshirt and it turned out amazing!! Thank you so much love, very helpful!!

Don't go to Jo-Ann's its the most expensive craft store. Go to hobby lobby, every thing is significantly cheaper.
For me it is actually reversed. I go to Jo-Ann's because it cheaper than Hobby Lobby.

I think pricing at the craft stores vary by state though. I know ill go to michaels im loving every price basically. But i also have hobby lobby and jo-anns as well, and hobby lobby prices arent bad, and jo-anns fabric isnt bad pricing, but the other equipment in the store is. So idk, might be different everywhere :)

You can't do it with regular paper, you need to have the special transfer paper
You could always go to Walmart or to a Dollar store...they should have it. Better yet, try to go to a office depot or some kind of office supply shop. :)

YES! :D By all means yes! Make sure to turn the shirt inside out and wash it in COLD water. DRY flat, (credit to the transfer paper instructions)

I love this video! I made a marathon shirt, with KEEP CALM AND MARATH ON on the front (along with the crown) and then the symbol of the marathon. I didn't know that the white would show up (whoops) but the shirt still looks great! Thanks for the video!

It's actually pretty pricey you know.. Jo-Ann and Michael's gets pretty affordable cause of the deals and coupons. You just gotta watch for that. I work at Jo-Ann's the prices are ridiculous at time. Thread (500 yds.) is 3.29... no thanks, I'll wait for the 50% sale.

I think you could wash it but be careful about putting it in the dryer. When I was younger my Mom would make iron on shirts all the time and when she put them in the dryer after washing, the printed image had cracks and was almost deformed. So I guess hang dry it

Matt Garcia, not necessarily, getting straight to the point doesn't mean skipping a bunch of mess. She could have gotten straight to the point and said everything shorter and without a lot of examples, this video could have easily been 3 minutes long. She could have put a lot of things in her description as well.
