Thanks again Gary. I'm having pain all over. I learned how to fix my thumb and hand pad area from gardening repetition. These stretches are what the runners did on my hs track team. I threw shot and discus but was advised to be stiff for more power. The discus coach didn't have us stretch like the runners. One time the head track coach had us stretch with the runners, to impress the other team. Our throwers were so wobbly after not being used to these stretches, we all did poorly. Just a story of mine from 1975/76. Now I can really use these stretches. Thanks again
Oh, yes! Doing static stretches right before you compete can hurt your muscles' ability to optimally perform. Eccentric stretching (engage the muscle through the whole range of motion) before competition is what the science seems to recommend. Keep up the good work! Best, Gary C.
I just got runner's knee like three weeks ago I tried everything to make the pain go away it even hurt when walking. I even got a patella strap. But it wasn't until I did everything in your videos before a run and poof it was like I was on a new knee. Thank you so much
+Marketing Group I'm glad to know it helped! And just FYI - my free website www.do-it-yourself-joint-pain-relief.com/ has videos for every joint in your body, if you ever need it. All the best, Gary Crowley

Hi Woodstrider, Hmmmmm, I guess it's "Gary Technique". I trained in Rolfing a couple of decades ago, so that's the foundation of how I think about the body, but there's a lot of other discoveries mixed in there. After 25,000 bodies, I guess its actually "Gary's Stuff That Actually Works Technique!" haha Best, Gary Crowley
Hi Martha,
