Not sure if this has already been asked at some point, but have you ever considered doing a course rating series where you try out courses made by your community and give feedback? Someone who drives as much as you must have some interesting insights into what makes a good route.
@@flashbaggins427 man, I wish that's get picked back up. I build routes sometimes, but I haven't the slightest idea what makes a good one. I don't see much out there either for how to make good ones.
@@JayTobas as regards making a good route, it's usually personal preference what you fancy but I tend to look on the map, see an are and think hey that's cool, drive around in freeroam for a while to get a feel whether I like the corners and straights and flow of the track then go and actually make it When making a track you can get a good racing line by driving it fairly slowly and consciously trying to do the line yourself That's mostly what I do anyways
Here in the US, pretty much the only Renault anyone knows about is the Cleo. French companies don't have nearly ground game German and English ones do, over here. I wonder if they're at least built better than their Emglish cousins?
All a matter of perspective. I went nuts when I saw an RCZ in a car lot (US), and I'm not even big on Audi TT-looking vehicles. But it was an Peugeot RCZ in the States, where even the federal lists specifically don't allow them in under the Show and Display regulations, so - yep, went nuts over it. Also went nuts when I had a chance to pick up a Rover 2000 (P6) here, even though they're easy to find in the UK.
@@nocount7517 Renault are for the most part made to be fairly cheap, I guess if you want something cheap you buy a car from the US or maybe Japan. Plus I guess our car might not be suited for your needs
@@cudak888 this sound amusingly similar to how we feel about some US cars I recently had the chance to buy a 2009 Challenger R/T and it gets A LOT of attention. Not surprising considering the thing was never sold in Europe to my knowledge wich makes it pretty much supercar level of uncommon on our roads Also I love this boat xD
@@LeGnomeLMP A Challenger R/T is pretty much a statement wherever it goes. For better or worse, in the US, they're starting to get a bad rap; they attract the not-so-law-abiding crowd, and there's really not that much exaggeration going on when safe streets advocates point to both Challengers and Chargers as the choice of vehicle for reckless, aggressive drivers. But in Europe, I can see where they have a good, positive novelty (something that might actually exist in the US if we weren't so fixated on making vehicle travel the de-facto norm, making driving congested, uncomfortable, and a sea of silver-grey appliances). And yes, the Challenger is hell of a boat as far as size goes, even next to an original E-body. Neighbor got a base 3.9 model and it made their BMW crossover SUV look tiny. Ditto for my own '68 Plymouth B-body, which is a long vehicle, but nowhere as brick-like. I will say that despite it's look, it has better visibility than one might initially guess. I do wish the LC/LA/LX platforms had just a slightly lower beltline though. Was always partial to the Charger for that reason - Chrysler managed to pull off a wedge-shape greenhouse (which is marvelous from the inside, as it brings the door edge down more) fantastic from the inside) - but by using the original coke-bottle silhouette, manage to avoid a wedge-shaped bodyline styling. Speaking of vehicles that are "obscure" by locational context: I've grown to be _fascinated_ by the first-gen Mercedes A-Class, which we did not get in the States. It's like someone built the Smart ForFour in the 1990's and did a better job of it in every way, but it's probably just an old used car in Europe at this point. But there's one that wound up here locally, just five miles away, and I'd *love* to have it. Perfect city car.
Longbow is driving my very first car. Except mine was a 78. Fun fact the top speed of that car (4 speed manual) was 168 kph going slightly downhill and the roof of that vehicle would bump up and down due to some kind of air pressure issue at top speed. Good memories and it did off road very well.
I'd do one or more of the following for this type event again: 1. Less head start...say 45 seconds. 2. Maxed B class Deberti if you keep the longer head start 3. Add 1 more Deberti to the mix
I feel like adding another deberti is asking for them to fight (even unintentionally you could compromise some lines) and potentially slowing them down.
@@DJMarcO138 I like your other ideas for sure, I think #2 is probably the best overall. This was already pretty close and just a little boost could make it super competitive.
Both drivers of the truck got similar times to finish the race. There may be 1-2 seconds of error in judging it because of the stupid FH5 cinematic of the race ending that covers the timer and can't see exactly.
PtP races I find more entertaining as a good shaker, even with relatively new tracks. I know its a play versus watch thing, but seeing the same 4-5 tracks every week needs a mixer once in a while.

🔎If these cars could've been upgraded, they were so wobbly that they afforded some more crappiness for extra power. 💪 A wheelbarrow with 1100 horsepower would've taken the checker too. 🎭 This variety could appeal to every fan of speed. 🧊

the dramatic letter boxing was rather comical with how it built tension then just disappeared
I just love that it stopped rising, like, 5 seconds before the line, since it started way too early
As a romanian, seeing the Renault 8 here makes me happy
I love the R8 Gordini, used it quite a bit to mess around in GT6 and it was plain pure fun, not easy though. Can't wait to try it in forza

R8 Gordini in a video game, about bloody time.
It was in GT Sport, and GT6 I believe

What is the Prerunner like in FH5? I really didn´t like it in FH4. It had a terrible gearbox and it took a lot of upgrades to make an okay offroader.
The Flintstones car wash.

1 minute is a bit too much of a headstart and I don't think Gliscor waited the full minute but maybe started to go at 50/55seconds
When are you going to do another long drive video
why did you guys not finish the race?
Why did it say you came in 2nd at the end? Is that a bug? I don't remember that happening in Horizon 4.
they used the last checkpoint as the finish so he could do an outro while all the cars were around, and then he drove to the actual finish
Is there a way for us to run this track?
