Ah Keswick is so beautiful, we camped there once and loved it. The park and gardens are so lovely and the shopping area so good, cant beat a Greggs for price, our daughter loooves that sausage cheese and bean pasty 😃Loved that hike that you did and Derwentwater is gorgeous, great views from the summit. The lake is so beautiful and busy and its nice to have that beach there. Castlerigg stone circle was fantastic to see , I can understand it must have been emotional to see . Theres a lot to do on a budget there, thanks for the lovely tour 😃👍~ Anna
thank you so much Anna, yes that stone circle evoked so many feelings. its a place that we have always meant to visit and never got round to or been able to find. we’ve seen it on peoples photos from when they visit but being stood amongst them with that timeless view is very evocative. yes we are with your daughter on that one, the cheese and bean pasty was the best! have an awesome weekend! ♥️
Hi Shaun thanks for your comment! That track is ‘Motivate by 2Tech-Audio’ free to use if you credit the author! You have great taste 😉😂 Merry Christmas 🎄
Keswick looked absolutely stunning! From the picturesque views atop Latrigg to the stone circle and the lovely town itself, your budget-friendly adventure was a treasure trove. Nick and Jill, you've captured the spirit of exploration even on a cloudy day, making every spot a unique delight. The bits of local humor and commentary added such a fun vibe to the whole journey! 🏞🗺
Like 63 👍 Greetings from Naples, Florida. Looks like a lovely town. So much to see and do there. Love, love the architecture. Awesome views, great pastries. Thanks for sharing with us, have a nice weekend. 💯
Keswick looks like a rather popular place. I'd really save my wallet as I simply enjoy sitting and watching all the people! Really appreciate the natural areas around as well...and the view for sure!! Loving the lake and the light...awesome! Bruce and Otis
good afternoon mates. its always a pleasure seeing you. and i am glad you like the pictures i send you. i enjoy getting email from jill. and i am proud to be mates. have a good weekend, mates.
Hi Kenneth we love getting your emails we too will send more! hope you had a great holiday! thanks for your ongoing support! we love having you as a dear friend! have a great weekend ❤️
Fun inexpensive tour of the lovely Keswick and the surrounding area Jill and Nick. Plenty to do and stunning views from up high and along the lake. Interesting stone circle with magnificent mountain views! Thanks for bringing us along.
thank you so much Dave and Kathy, its a great area thats popular with tourists and hikers in equal measure. no angry birds during our visit either! ♥️🦅
Well what an amazing film that was! You certainly covered the Keswick area to a tea. Surprised to still see the tourist Moot Hall still plastered in scaffold. Every time I go there it’s covered in bloody scaffold! Hope Park, my favourite park in the whole of the UK. Good to see Latrigg & Castlecrag Stone circle again. Watching this I simply can’t imagine why anyone would ever think of going abroad??? Walking around Derwent Water or even canoeing on it is magical in the extreme. No, you can keep your foreign travel, just give me Wales, Lakes & Scotland. Brilliant FIVE STAR FILM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ More like this please.
Thank you Mike. With you on that. If i could enjoy it all year round my mind would never wander to the lofty heights of foreign locales. Keswick? i retreated to there twenty years ago when Ambleside became a little too unpalatable for my non tourist tastes. Nowadays you will find me in Penrith, situated on the NE corner of the Lakes but still holding on to its less touristy feel. But the Lake District? No matter what you do, embrace the tourists, ignore them on the unknown fells, its all great. A magical place that will outlive us and retain its beauty for generations to come x
I loved this lovely walking tour of Keswick. So many great views. Lovely shops, buildings, cafes and restaurants. Also, beautiful landscapes. Nice little picnic. The food looked so delicious. Have a great week.
Love Keswick and never get sick of going there, so much to do for all the family. We always end up in Bryson's for a cream tea and/or The Kingfisher for fish n chips. We always have a chicken bake from Greggs wherever we go and always go value. Never ever had that seat at Latrigg to myself before, always somebody on it when I go there ☹️. Shame about the rain but at least it cleared for the stone circle, which I also love. We are stopping 4 nights at the Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat in 5 weeks time, cannot wait! Cheers Alan
Wow, that sounds amazing Alan. This was filmed on our Wedding Anniversary just a couple of days after recovering from our second bout of Covid. Latrigg might as well have been K2, we stopped so much. It was our first time at Greggs, i do know how to treat a wife on an anniversary, definitely great value, the whole meal came in at less than one pasty anywhere else in Keswick, im sure there is many great places but didn’t want to take the risk without researching first. Wined and dined of the evening with doner kebab pot noodles in the travelodge (best flavour by the way). Also our first time at the Stone Circle, the top five was filmed without an order in mind but boy oh boy the stone circle really moved us. Was taken away by its incredible glory and position central to those fells ive grown up hiking and loving. A very emotional day and Keswick still, and always will, hold a very special place in our hearts!
Lots of shops looks so lovely. How charming this town, the architectures looks fabulous. The garden is pretty. Wow…the foods looks so delicious, I’m hungry 😄😄Wonderful sharing guys😍👍👍
The weather was less than ideal but you certainly got on with it. Some fab panoramic views from up on the hill. Great stone circle, great little town, lovely lake, excellent pastries and chips. What more could you want? Excellent job Jill and Nick!
thank you so much Shane, yes the weather was a washout but not quite as bad as the forecast made out. the forecast called for 90% chance of lightning and heavy rain all day and yet, with a few brief stops for shelter we were able to fit in quite a lot without getting too wet! just goes to show you.. never be put off by the forecast! hope you are having a smashing weekend! ♥️ 🇦🇺
Some absolutely stunning views, especially from the Peak. You can't beat a Greg's Corned Beef Pasty. This was like like my last hike, a beautiful sunny day then pouring with rain. I do like a nice stone circle. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely town and really nice to see a thriving town centre, both with businesses and people supporting those businesses. Never mind the rain as it was pointed out to me years ago, 'see all that green? That's because of the rain' (basically I got told not to grumble!) The green does make the Lake District gorgeous!
Keswick looks like a fun place to visit, even on an overcast day. Too bad the sundial wasn't working that day! The lunch looked delicious and very nice to find something not too pricey! The views from the top of the hill were really amazing. Very nice day out and always nice to go easy on the wallet.
Another incredible adventure, a little bit of everything in this one. Shops, garden, breathtaking mountains, lake, trails… I’d love to know how many miles you walked. Definitely worth it, watched from start to finish. Keep up the amazing work my friends. Have a fantastic weekend!
When I looked on Wednesday I didn't see a mention of a Premier 😱- now I see i missed one. Keswick looks lovely. Haha Packed Horse Inn- Packed Inn there 🤣🤣! That savoury pastry looked yum indeed. Nice filling. Great walk, shame about the weather though. Lovely view-lovely area by the looks, plenty of options to fill the day with. Loved how the photos were edited into the video. Most enjoyable watch, Thanks Juill and Nick. Have a lovely weekend. We are away a few days so won't be only a lot. Happy days. 👍🇳🇱🙋♀🇳🇿 📸
😮😮😮 What a hike! What an incredible mountain range 😀 Definitely looked tricky in some sections. Ha! Not sure the goat was convinced byJill’s singing lol! 😂 Those views 🤩🤩🤩 Amazing! The walk down eek! 😬🐻 Those growls! Well done for making it down safely. Have video! 😊
You could do the Bob Graham Round. Touch the door of the Moot Hall. 66 miles, 27,000 feet of climb, 42 mountain peeks and touch the door again before 24 hours is up and you've done the Bob! Easy peasy!!! Best wishes to you both.
Hi Nick and Jill good to see you enjoying the rain plenty of opportunity to practice this year. We liked those gardens Keswick is a fantastic place to visit. You picked a good spot for your snack you looked like you had a feast and liked the Robin who joined you. What amazing views on your way up Latrigg. You got some great shots on your way isn't nature great. Another enjoyable video thank you for sharing best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤
Hello Nick and Jill 👋. Need to watch from the start because I came late 🙏🏻. That’s amazing ideas what need to do for the new visitors planning to visit from places, yummy 😋 food 7:04 and good tips 👍. Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing. Stay safe and have a nice weekend 👍. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪.
Amazing outdoor playground ❤ love the gardens and the lake was awesome. Great views nice history with the stone circles too and the plateau eas super impressive for sure.
Keswick looks amazing! Hope Park looks lovely! Love the tiny helicopter! And singin' in the rain hehe too cute. Love seeing all of the little shops and cute cafes too. Love the little sausage and bean pie you got - that looks really good! And a great price. Derwent Water looks lovely. So nice you had the area next to the lake all to yourselves! So many beautiful mountains you got photos of. Wow those rocks are SO old! How incredible. Awesome video Nick & Jill! So sorry we are a bit behind as we were away on vacation, but we'll catch up. Hope you are both doing great!!
thank you so much Kim, we filmed this on our wedding anniversary. greggs for lunch and pot noodles for tea. i worry for Watto if he tried similar. all our love xx
Hi guys. Nice to be taken back to Keswick its been a long time but I remember cycling on the old railway track and walking through the town. Great way to walk off the Greggs up Latrigg! It's always nice to find a little haven away from the crowds. As always, entertaining 😊👍 x
I have to say, that's the most civilised Greggs lunch I think I've ever seen 😂 looks like a nice town but the views on the walk are superb 👌 you guys sure did kick ass in this video! Never ceases to amaze me how everyone congregates in the same spot instead of walking a few minutes for a bit of solitude 😂 well it works to our advantage so let them carry on 😎 Derwent Water looks great, would definitely like to walk around it! Ohhh the weather really did come down there! Cool Stone Circle, didn't even know that was there! Great video with lots of puns, twirls and feeeeeeeling the energy 🌳🤗💃🏻🕺🏻
thats a great way of looking at it Matt, that people congregating in one spot works to our advantage, very true! 10 miles of Lakeside and they all huddle on one small bit! one of my only wildcamps was near the spot we walked out on that jetty, its a great spot for star gazing, no light pollution there. Spent many hours on that day sheltering from the rain, it could have easily been a complete washout. every time the rain stopped we would leap back into action! 👍
that chat was so busy during the premier. woo! had to stop reading all the hellos so i could watch the countdown. 🤣 fun to see a bustling area in comparison to the struggling ones. gorilla nick! 🤣 lovely twirls, dancing, tree hugging, and umbrella work. and a smooch, too! 🤭 have i wished you congrats on 2k yet? cheers to you!🥳🛴❤
Hi Anne you have but thank you again and for another awesome comment! Also thanks for joining our premiere lovely having you there 👍 Have a super weekend ❤️
Awesome video!! The views are so pretty. Hope park looks like a jungle that is so cool. That was so funny when you were dancing in the rain😂. The gardens are gorgeous. Out of all the shops I would like the souvenir and candy shops the most. The gorilla is so big. All the foods you got look so good. The bird is so cute. It looks like you are so high up on that mountain. The lake is really pretty. That rock tower was cool. That stone circle is massive. -Rory❤❤❤
Thank you Rory 🤗 hope you are all having a great weekend wherever you are in the world! safe travels and stay awesome! Love to you, Sage, Mum & Dad across the pond 🇺🇸❤️ 🇬🇧
Hi Nick and Jill Congratulations on surpassing on 2KKKKKKKKKKKKK hahaha Jill is natural and playful In spite of the weather, you two brought bright light over this charming town Local shops are flattering to stroll haha I was wondering about cutting board ... crunchy crust I can hear it... How cold was it? haha Now you made me hungry Well ordering Starbucks hehehe Well done You two. Thank YOU so much for making my day, yahooooo. bestie love love xx
Thanks so much Ms Kayak you are so kind! 😊 It was quite warm for the time of year! Yes we still have Bill board we just forgot to take him 🤣 hope you enjoyed your Starbucks! have a super weekend 👍❤️
Hi Jill and Nick, Keswick looks lovely, the gardens were so pretty to walk around and there were some lovely shops to visit. Love the gorilla and your gorilla dance Nick ha ha . The Greggs pasties looked yum and not a bad lunch for under £6. Loved the hike up the hills, a great bench to chill for a minute or two. The views were stunning. The beach at Derwent water looked looked a good place to visit, shame it started to thunder and lighten. Typical British weather. Great video as always, have a great weekend, x Julie and Tony x
Lovely gardens and shops. Loved your pastries. I know a Cornish Pastie, but never heard of these. Great views of the summit. Love the rocks. I was waiting to see when the rain was coming with those dark clouds hovering 😅 Thank you for taking us along. ❤🤗🤠🙏🏽👍🏽😘
Thanks guys! Greggs do quite a selection of pasties, it’s a northern thing I think, we’ll put anything in a pastry envelope 😂 where down south nothing beats the Cornish 👍 have a great week ❤️
Honestly our first time at Greggs, cough cough, possibly our last, but great on a budget. Didn’t want to splash £7 on a single pastie which everywhere else was charging without researching first..
Just got back from grocery shopping and can watch your vid now! Also I will watch later with Ian on the big screen... because we are busy planning our visit to the Lakes this coming summer!
Ah thats great Dara. Ambleside and Windermere are the tourist magnets, almost completely destroyed now, keswick is slowly going that way, still a lot to love though. Grasmere with Keswick as a backup would be our advice xx
Very great way to show lots of things. Very beautiful! At least I shouldn't bother so much of the rain. Where I live is known as the rainiest town lol... But agree, to walk little further is so much better. I don't like those type of places crowded. Have a great weekend both 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
You managed to find lots to see and do. Latrigg is always good value great views for not to much effort. We haven't been through to Keswick for over 6 months... just to busy for us! TFS cheers Alistair 👍
Love it! One of my favourite places in this World. Haven’t been for too long. So many brilliant memories starting hikes from there. No idea how many times I’ve been in that garage at 6:30am after leaving at 3:30 before climbing one of those mountains. 😃. Latrigg is always cool and I love Castlerigg. Has a real atmosphere about it there doesn’t it. Great share you two and have a brilliant weekend
great memories Dave, yes that garage is possibly my favourite in the UK, its either helped us get provisions for a B&B or a hike, wonderful spot. its a great place to hike up Latrigg or Skiddaw from and the adjacent streets are all free parking! Keswick definitely gets under your skin, we have to visit at least once a year to get our fill! wish we could move it and its surroundings closer to us! hope you have an amazing weekend! ♥️ 🚐
first time for us at the stone circle and to be honest I wasn’t expecting to be moved as much as i was. the order of the top five was not set just filmed but boy oh boy that stone circle played an unexpected number on me, i was overwhelmed. x
It’s a lovely place isn’t it - we should have watched this before we went last week 😀 Hope Park is great isn’t it and there’s some interesting shops, cafes and pubs too as you said. Always nice to see as keeps the place interesting. I spent £50 in Brysons and Booths and didn’t have much to show for it 😂 We didn’t spot where Greggs had moved to as clocked it wasn’t where it was when we were last there. (Probably why I spent so much is Brysons 😄) Looks a lovely walk and the old railway line is coming in very handy nowadays which again is great to see. Lovely views from the top. Wow thunder and lightning ⚡️ It’s a great view from the stone circle too. Also great it’s open access too. As always some amazing tips and ideas. All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
I LOVE the gardens they are gorgeous! Keswick is charming…I would love to take in all the lovely sights around. Btw….your videos are doing nicely! So happy to see that! 👍😊🇨🇦
thank you so much Christine, some are hit and miss, if they are festivals or boarded up towns they seem to skyrocket. the fate of this one will depend on how many people have heard of Keswick before! i have an Italian Mountain coming out next week, sadly it will be a huge fail even though its quite possibly the most stunning video we have ever made! but we’ll bounce back the week after with something that will draw the crowds. its all a juggling act.. hope you have an awesome weekend! ♥️ 🇨🇦
Hi ya, I do like Keswick, one of my favourite locations in the Lakes. Still to find a reasonably priced car park thou. I loved the in-depth Greggs review, can't beat a tasty Greggs. Thanks for showing us around. xx
yes we do love Keswick, one of our favourite spots in the Lakes which is managing better at juggling tourism with the interests of hikers better than some of its more well known counterparts. it was our first Greggs, definitely the reasonably priced option in Keswick! the staff were wonderful in there too. We actually ventured back in a couple of days later! hope your well and having a great weekend! ♥️
I am thinking video was made before Keto LOL. I would love to visit you guys and take me on a tour of such a stunning place! This will be on my bucket list Haha. Thanks for the tour
thank you so much LB, we are back cracking along with keto now, we have found some great commercial products that are replacements for bread, penne and tagliatelle, a real eye opener on what can be achieved off carbs x
i can feel your connection to that bench Yasmin, i know you wont miss one but that has to be up there with your favourites, it is ours. ive long since wanted to do a break down video, top ten if you will, of best benches, could this be a collaborative effort? x
What a fantastic video, i enjoyed this premiere from the Loo at work hahaha. I always enjoy the GenX touch you give to each and every one of your videos, showcasing how incredible you both are. Loving the gardens, very pretty, nice to see the colour in the autumn too! Lots of benches to sit and enjoy a view. Nice, would love to visit the Lakeland gin shop, sounds good to me! Ooo that cheese deli had my name all over it hehe. Love how much you manage to cram into your segments, just excellent! What beautiful views from the top and seeing over Derwent water, it's such a beauty! Loving how much you can do on a budget!! Loved the snaps, especially of Skiddaw, awesome stuff. Loving it. Thank you both!!! Happy friday x
Thank you so much Alessa. Lovely comment, great to have you back on the Friday night lineup, seems very natural! Filmed this on our Anniversary just days after recovering from covid. Greggs? The best Anniversary treat? Well the jury is out on that one. See you soon on yours xx
id say first light Andy, you could get some cracking shots up there. we started our day with the visit there and fortunately you can drive right up to it and park for free outside.
Nice video Nick and Jill, I am really overdue a trip to the Lake District, so I enjoyed watching your video. You both are much too happy in the naff English weather 🤣🤣I think I've probably been through the high street but not the other bits, so cool to see the parks, lake, walks and views.
Hi guys another lovely place you explored you always seem to get great bargin meals on your trips.loving all the quirky bits you put in these budget videos keep the great work up guysx
Thanks so much Simon, really appreciate that. Hopefully enough people will have heard of Keswick, our Helmsley video was a complete flop! Guess you have to roll with the ups and downs! Hope your having an amazing weekend! Xx
A great tour Nick Keswick is a fab mountain town no doubt some great spots here highlighted too (One thought that did spring to mind was why Fort William doesn’t make as much of its self as Keswick? In my opinion) An investigation idea for you and Jill All the best Simon 🤠🏔️👍
oh gosh I love Fort William, one of my favourite places in the UK, its a great base for hiking the Scottish greats! we used to visit at least once a year, more before we moved to Scarborough. desperately would like to visit again, your right though its almost singular high street does not have much, a few souvenir shops, it could do better! i like the idea of an investigation.. ♥️
Amazing, have a great day.
Thanks, you too! 👍
Hi Nick & Jill
Play on here..you guys are full of energetic, lovin it😊❤
Thank you Juliana ❤️

OK the bird hide was my favourite part, LOL!
Channeled my inner Watto on that one.. the bird was hid by the sign xx
Amazing adventure, great sharing beautiful video have a nice day my friend 👍👍❤

Its on this weeks, will link you in the description, TRIG FACE rules ♥️
You two love birds... so darling!
This was our Wedding Anniversary. Just a couple of days after recovering but still suffering from covid. That tiny hill almost killed us..

Ha! Not sure the goat was convinced byJill’s singing lol! 😂
Those views 🤩🤩🤩 Amazing! The walk down eek! 😬🐻 Those growls!
Well done for making it down safely. Have video! 😊
cheers Rachel it is an epic mountain for sure! hope you have had a nice weekend 👍❤️
You could do the Bob Graham Round. Touch the door of the Moot Hall. 66 miles, 27,000 feet of climb, 42 mountain peeks and touch the door again before 24 hours is up and you've done the Bob! Easy peasy!!! Best wishes to you both.
Easy Peasy!!! 😳😳 that sounds impossible, bet there is not many completed that but a massive well done if you have ❤️ Cheers JBB 👍
Not done the full thing, I am reluctant remember! Most I've done its about 33miles 12,000 feet.@@GENerationXplorers
Great sharing, thanks for your tips 18:08 fully enjoyed being with you, have a wonderful day 😊
Thank you so much 👍
Hi Nick and Jill good to see you enjoying the rain plenty of opportunity to practice this year.
Thanks guys 👍 have a great weekend ❤️
Hi jill and Nick great tour again 👍 liked the stone circle and some great views 👌 Glyn
Thanks Glyn 👍 great drone opportunities up there. have a great weekend ❤️
Thanks Kenn hope you had a great time in Cyprus but are back safely in Germany! have a great week ❤️
so beautiful video
Thank you 🤗
We LOVE Keswick! It was nice to see you both exploring this wonderful place. Those pasties made us hungry lol!
😂 they were surprisingly good for their price thanks ❤️
Amazing outdoor playground ❤ love the gardens and the lake was awesome. Great views nice history with the stone circles too and the plateau eas super impressive for sure.
Thanks so much Nicole 👍❤️
Keswick looks amazing! Hope Park looks lovely! Love the tiny helicopter! And singin' in the rain hehe too cute. Love seeing all of the little shops and cute cafes too. Love the little sausage and bean pie you got - that looks really good! And a great price. Derwent Water looks lovely. So nice you had the area next to the lake all to yourselves! So many beautiful mountains you got photos of. Wow those rocks are SO old! How incredible. Awesome video Nick & Jill! So sorry we are a bit behind as we were away on vacation, but we'll catch up. Hope you are both doing great!!
hi guys 👋 we are both well! hope you are too and had an amazing vacation 👍❤️
Nice video my friend
Thank you 👍
Mais uma linda postagem..... maravilha...... seus vídeos são excelentes....... top demais.... wonderful video....
you are kind thank you 👍❤️
Great video Nick & Jill, full of energy as always. Great place to visit 👍🏻
thank you so much Kim, we filmed this on our wedding anniversary. greggs for lunch and pot noodles for tea. i worry for Watto if he tried similar. all our love xx
Nice work guys. Keswick is beautiful. Love the cheeky thumbs up 👍 after your photos Nick. Makes me chuckle 😆 ❤
😂 Thanks 👍 glad we make you chuckle 😂
Hi guys. Nice to be taken back to Keswick its been a long time but I remember cycling on the old railway track and walking through the town. Great way to walk off the Greggs up Latrigg! It's always nice to find a little haven away from the crowds. As always, entertaining 😊👍 x
hi sue thank you so much we do love Keswick! hope you are well! have a lovely weekend and safe travels 👍❤️
You have covered a lot of spots here. Unusual but entertaining narration. You did an excellent job. 👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
Hi Nick and Jill, like 7, will watch later , take care xx
Thank you guys, have a wonderful night xx
Wonderful trip! have great day! greetings
Thank you! You too! 👍
that chat was so busy during the premier. woo! had to stop reading all the hellos so i could watch the countdown. 🤣 fun to see a bustling area in comparison to the struggling ones. gorilla nick! 🤣
lovely twirls, dancing, tree hugging, and umbrella work. and a smooch, too! 🤭 have i wished you congrats on 2k yet? cheers to you!🥳🛴❤
Hi Anne you have but thank you again and for another awesome comment! Also thanks for joining our premiere lovely having you there 👍 Have a super weekend ❤️
Fantastic place for holiday indeed! the scenery of Keswick is amazing, this ambience really impresses me much, thank you for sharing us to see…
Many thanks Abdul! Have a great week my friend 👍❤️
@@GENerationXplorers you're welcome my friend
Dope explore. Love watching you both go at it in that part of the world
Cheers Anna! have a great week ahead 👍❤️
Hi Nick and Jill
Congratulations on surpassing on 2KKKKKKKKKKKKK
hahaha Jill is natural and playful
In spite of the weather, you two brought bright light over this charming town
Local shops are flattering to stroll
haha I was wondering about cutting board ...
crunchy crust I can hear it...
How cold was it?
haha Now you made me hungry
Well ordering Starbucks hehehe
Well done You two.
Great tour/guide to a budget day out. Really enjoyed watching 😊👍
Thanks so much Matt and Becs we have some viewing catch up to do and you are too off the list! hope you guys are doing well! have a great week! 👍
Oh beautiful place and well, gets a big thumbs for a stone circle ❤ really enjoyed the tour 😊
Thank you very much Cara we knew you’d like the stone circle you were sat on our shoulders 😉❤️
Great Video 😅 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you 😁
Wow, absolutely stunning Keswick is definitely going on our list for places to go next year. Thank you showing us around.
you guys would love it! thanks have a great weekend 👍❤️
Missed this but watching now ❤ hope you have a good weekend
Same to you 👍❤️
Hi Jill and Nick, Keswick looks lovely, the gardens were so pretty to walk around and there were some lovely shops to visit.
Thanks guys hope you had nice grand daughter birthday celebrations and are having a lovely weekend! take care 👍❤️
@@GENerationXplorers we had a good time and Belle had the Disney character Belle who made an appearance. Xx
Sounds awesome 👍
Love your humor. Very entertaining and fully enjoyed watching to the end. New friend here❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much 🤗
Great job, so many interesting places, beautiful location 😍
Thank you! 😃
Lovely gardens and shops. Loved your pastries. I know a Cornish Pastie, but never heard of these.
Great views of the summit.
Love the rocks.
I was waiting to see when the rain was coming with those dark clouds hovering 😅
Thank you for taking us along. ❤🤗🤠🙏🏽👍🏽😘
Thanks guys! Greggs do quite a selection of pasties, it’s a northern thing I think, we’ll put anything in a pastry envelope 😂 where down south nothing beats the Cornish 👍 have a great week ❤️
@@GENerationXplorers Enjoy you time in the south 🤗
Greggs for the frugal picnic! Love it! I've not had that bean and cheese thing but I would like it ;-)
Honestly our first time at Greggs, cough cough, possibly our last, but great on a budget. Didn’t want to splash £7 on a single pastie which everywhere else was charging without researching first..
@@GENerationXplorers wait a minute, you are not honestly telling me that was your very first time to go to a Gregg's! I don't believe you
Just got back from grocery shopping and can watch your vid now!
Have a great weekend both 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
Oh wow you are totally use to the rain then 😂 you too and thanks 👍🖤
You managed to find lots to see and do. Latrigg is always good value great views for not to much effort. We haven't been through to Keswick for over 6 months... just to busy for us!
TFS cheers Alistair 👍
We thought you might say that! Hope you are ok and doing well Alistair! Have a great week ahead! 👍❤️
Very beautiful stunning place 😊
Yes, thank you 🤗
Saved to watch this later in bed 🛌 😊 hope you guys are ok
Thanks guys! We are well hope you guys are too ❤️
It is truly spectacular place 👍 Very beautiful
Yes, thank you ❤️
Indeed Nick same here - we're hoping to get up there next year, used to be up at least 10 times a year!! @@GENerationXplorers
Absolutely brilliant all the way through.
To much for me to break it down, but especially loved the stones and the views at the top 👌❤️
first time for us at the stone circle and to be honest I wasn’t expecting to be moved as much as i was. the order of the top five was not set just filmed but boy oh boy that stone circle played an unexpected number on me, i was overwhelmed. x
It’s a lovely place isn’t it - we should have watched this before we went last week 😀
Hope Park is great isn’t it and there’s some interesting shops, cafes and pubs too as you said. Always nice to see as keeps the place interesting.
I spent £50 in Brysons and Booths and didn’t have much to show for it 😂
We didn’t spot where Greggs had moved to as clocked it wasn’t where it was when we were last there. (Probably why I spent so much is Brysons 😄)
Looks a lovely walk and the old railway line is coming in very handy nowadays which again is great to see. Lovely views from the top.
Wow thunder and lightning ⚡️
It’s a great view from the stone circle too. Also great it’s open access too.
As always some amazing tips and ideas.
All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Cheers guys your latest on this area is fabulous! any one reading these comments ‘Check it out’ 👍😂❤️
Bucket hats!
Essential clobber for Keswick and always 🤣 happy new year 🥳
Very nice video 😊
Thanks 😊 have a great weekend 👍
@@GENerationXplorers that seems to be the way youtube goes. I know the feeling. Keep up the great videos…looking forward to the mountain video. 😊
Keep up the fantastic travelling vlog work and thanks for the exciting content! Sending good vibes to you 🎉~
Thank you! You too! 👍❤️
Woop woop - looking forward to it. I finish work at 815 but I'll try and sneaky on before ❤
Superstar ♥️
Great tour of Keswick 😁😁 it’s such a nice area and definitely one of my fav spots in the lakes. The bench at Latrigg has such a nice view 😊
i can feel your connection to that bench Yasmin, i know you wont miss one but that has to be up there with your favourites, it is ours. ive long since wanted to do a break down video, top ten if you will, of best benches, could this be a collaborative effort? x
@@GENerationXplorers 😁😁 of course you know me I love a good bench
And I love a collab too 😁
What a fantastic video, i enjoyed this premiere from the Loo at work hahaha.
Amazing town,
it really is 👍
Great stuff Nick & Jill. I do want to photograph that stone circle - will have to get up early though, it looks busy.
id say first light Andy, you could get some cracking shots up there. we started our day with the visit there and fortunately you can drive right up to it and park for free outside.
Nice video Nick and Jill, I am really overdue a trip to the Lake District, so I enjoyed watching your video. You both are much too happy in the naff English weather 🤣🤣I think I've probably been through the high street but not the other bits, so cool to see the parks, lake, walks and views.
Cheers Nettie! the weather has been awful so much so we can no longer keep it getting us down 😂 hope you are having a great weekend ❤️
Xx
I definitely want to take my friends to that stone circle! Much better than schlepping to Stonehenge ;-)
It was very lovely there Dara and relatively crowd free, english heritage but free to all, in sight of all Englands greatest and biggest mountains
@@GENerationXplorers yes, we must go there!
A great tour Nick Keswick is a fab mountain town no doubt some great spots here highlighted too
(One thought that did spring to mind was why Fort William doesn’t make as much of its self as Keswick? In my opinion)
An investigation idea for you and Jill
All the best Simon 🤠🏔️👍
oh gosh I love Fort William, one of my favourite places in the UK, its a great base for hiking the Scottish greats! we used to visit at least once a year, more before we moved to Scarborough. desperately would like to visit again, your right though its almost singular high street does not have much, a few souvenir shops, it could do better! i like the idea of an investigation.. ♥️
