Nick and Jill, Brrr, snow on the ground. It is really a special destination to hike to. Such unique boulders just appeared in circle? Rock formation made hilarious shapes in large scale. thanks for watching guys and great support at the premiere. its hard to believe that these rock formations are natural, they seem so defined. there are still suggestions that some were helped into their current form by the Druids, a civilisation that existed in these parts before the Romans.
You guys got me at the sweet shop at the village of Pateley Bridge😁... I have a massive sweet tooth😆. The Yorkshire Dale scenery looked great, even with the overcast and cold winter conditions. The Dales certainly have some beautiful villages and gorgeous scenery. There looked to be a nice choice of tea rooms. Cute farm animals too, they didn't care about you being in their field. Ah excellent, the Yorkshire Dales look great any time of the year, and we also feel these kind of places have a great feel on a cold, crisp day. Oldest Sweet Shop? Very cool! Not heard of Pateley Bridge before, it looks lovely, mmm pie!!! You might have just given us an idea for a vlog!! Only 2 boarded up shops, that’s not bad at all. Hey Adam!! That cow really didn’t look impressed, they’re very cute though! Cool police box. Bottom Road 😂. Ooh Nick, that was a terrible joke…I’m having it!!! 😂. Loving the pony! Gosh that pie shop, worth a visit to Pateley Bridge just for that. we had a pork and apple pie from there and it was honestly the best pie we have ever tried. 2hr18m from your place (about the same for us). definitely worth a look. Adam tried pretty much one of everything from the sweet shop and we did get to sample a lot, great quality sweets! sadly the joke didn’t alpaca punch like one of Wills! the National Trust volunteers at Brimham were really knowledgeable and friendly although I didn’t know the rules about flying drones there so I had to find a place to hide from them before I sent the drone up for its very quick flight! felt like a naughty schoolboy, although that’s usually how I feel everytime I send the drone up, don’t think I will ever get fully used to it! hope you have an amazing weekend. 🍻
How great to get out on a winter hike 😁 I've never been to Pately Bridge or Brimstone rocks and they both look absolutely amazing. Definitely the place to go bargain hunting with Jill's onesie & Nick's haircut proving the point 😉 So many independent shops looked to be thriving even at this time of year ... fantastic ❤ The hike looked superb with those amazing rocks and looked like Adam would be 100% in agreement with that ... seems to be enjoying every moment, but who wouldn't in such fab company ? Oh heck Adam , watch out on Lovers Leap 🤤 Nice there's still some crunchy snow around but not at all bleak with the beautiful Highland Cattle and cute ponies to keep you company. thank you Dara, im a huge fan of cows and highland cows are simply adorable, I could easily chat all day to them. Spanish cows are my favourite I have been known to whittle away the hours in long conversation with them, like their highland counterparts, they are very chilled out!
Well it sure looked bleak, the worst time of the year for me and Pateley Bridge and Brimham Rocks looked so much better in the summer but well done on you getting out, I have been hibernating. Must admit I would have loved that old sweet shop mind and if ever you see a charity shop, you will find Mrs Metalman inside it. Meeting Adam cheered up the day, as did the Highland cattle, even I liked those :o). Fresh eggs, £1 for half a dozen sounds goof value to me and nice to see the Police Box and in one piece too. Snow, ponies, bridge twirls, community singing and drone footage, all starting the break through the bleak weather and I must go back to Brimham Rocks, it has to be 30 years since I was there last. Well you sure could see how cold it was with all that ice and "Is there anything more beautiful that the Yorkshire Dales in winter? - yes, the Yorkshire Dales in summer #fairweatherhiker :o). To be honest, it was a great 12 mile hike and a 100% better than hibernating indoors, cheers Alan
thanks Alan, think Adam bought one of everything in that sweet shop and we did get to sample some great treats. we indulged in a pork and apple pie from the pie shop across the road, it was honestly the best pie I’ve ever tasted, we got back to Pateley Bridge just before 5pm and we all headed up to the sweet shop and pie shop to buy more. sadly they had both closed (probably sold out). Jill has already made that Lion onesy pay for itself! certainly getting our money back in this cold weather. the highland cattle were lovely, very tiny mind. fresh eggs at that price, had we somewhere safe to carry them that would have been a definite buy! yes the Yorkshire Dales in summer! 😂 certainly looks better in summer although it would have probably been me, not wearing any aftershave or scent, still being followed by a million flies cursing at the top of my voice off camera! whilst stopping every second to tick Buddy each other after every long grass section! blood pressure through the roof in the overgrown sections worrying about standing on an adder id have most likely seen just moments before! (I find winter less challenging but your right it definitely looks bleak)!
Pately Bridge looked pretty impressive when we drove through it last year on our way to the youtuber's collab at Grimworth. On the way back, I hoped we'd have time to call into Brimham Rocks on the way back, but we ran out of day! Great video guys, you're making me want to visit the Yorkshire Dales again.
thank you Andy, definitely worth a visit, especially f you have National Trust membership, although there is some limited road side parking on the far side of the rocks to be had for free. the site is a lot bigger than i had realised, one could easily spend an entire day there. with the right light it is a photographers dream.l
It didn't look bleak at all. I bet that sweet does good all year round but especially good in Summer. I think The rocks looked pretty awesome and a good peak from above. Nice work keeping the Druids Idol upright. I hope Jill isn't still waiting for the bus at that bus stop! 🙂

I agree, from what you showed the Yorkshire dales were not bleak at all, infact looked quite lovely. Pateley Bridge was very quaint and nice to see lots of independent shops.
So what kind of cows are those with the long hair? They are pretty cute. The Brimham Rocks look very cool and a fun place to explore. The ducks were so cute too. I don't think that the Yorkshire Dales are bleak at all in winter. You guys found a lot of fun along the way! 😊👍

In the late 90's me and my besty cracked a squat of 20 houses in the middle of winter up on the moors North of Holmfirth. With thick snow. No water, no electric. 3 or four of the houses had no roofs and we were living leftover flour from the previous occupants and what we could find growing in the garden. About as close to post apocalypse as you could get. All my intestinal parasites abandoned me in one go! Best time of my life! My peeps are still there 25+ years later!

I love the Yorkshire Dales, but one thing that is annoying is that there is no place to throw away rubbish! If you go to a park there are no bins, and if you go to the tourist information and use their public toilet, they have signs telling you to take your trash home with you!

You guys got me at the sweet shop at the village of Pateley Bridge😁... I have a massive sweet tooth😆. The Yorkshire Dale scenery looked great, even with the overcast and cold winter conditions. The Dales certainly have some beautiful villages and gorgeous scenery. There looked to be a nice choice of tea rooms. Cute farm animals too, they didn't care about you being in their field. Ooh the dogs weren't so happy though lol. It didn't look or sound bleak at all. Have a great weekend both of you 💜

Ah excellent, the Yorkshire Dales look great any time of the year, and we also feel these kind of places have a great feel on a cold, crisp day. Oldest Sweet Shop? Very cool! Not heard of Pateley Bridge before, it looks lovely, mmm pie!!! You might have just given us an idea for a vlog!! Only 2 boarded up shops, that’s not bad at all. Hey Adam!! That cow really didn’t look impressed, they’re very cute though! Cool police box. Bottom Road 😂. Ooh Nick, that was a terrible joke…I’m having it!!! 😂. Loving the pony! Beautiful bridge twirling going on there guys. Those rocks are really cool. First trig of 25, congratulations. The yoke of oxen is really cool too. Nice drone shots, not too sure about the singing 😂. Gosh that pie shop, worth a visit to Pateley Bridge just for that. we had a pork and apple pie from there and it was honestly the best pie we have ever tried. 2hr18m from your place (about the same for us). definitely worth a look. Adam tried pretty much one of everything from the sweet shop and we did get to sample a lot, great quality sweets! sadly the joke didn’t alpaca punch like one of Wills! the National Trust volunteers at Brimham were really knowledgeable and friendly although I didn’t know the rules about flying drones there so I had to find a place to hide from them before I sent the drone up for its very quick flight! felt like a naughty schoolboy, although that’s usually how I feel everytime I send the drone up, don’t think I will ever get fully used to it! hope you have an amazing weekend. 🍻

How great to get out on a winter hike 😁 I've never been to Pately Bridge or Brimstone rocks and they both look absolutely amazing. Definitely the place to go bargain hunting with Jill's onesie & Nick's haircut proving the point 😉 So many independent shops looked to be thriving even at this time of year ... fantastic ❤ The hike looked superb with those amazing rocks and looked like Adam would be 100% in agreement with that ... seems to be enjoying every moment, but who wouldn't in such fab company ? Oh heck Adam , watch out on Lovers Leap 🤤 Nice there's still some crunchy snow around but not at all bleak with the beautiful Highland Cattle and cute ponies to keep you company. thank you Dara, im a huge fan of cows and highland cows are simply adorable, I could easily chat all day to them. Spanish cows are my favourite I have been known to whittle away the hours in long conversation with them, like their highland counterparts, they are very chilled out!
Well it sure looked bleak, the worst time of the year for me and Pateley Bridge and Brimham Rocks looked so much better in the summer but well done on you getting out, I have been hibernating. Must admit I would have loved that old sweet shop mind and if ever you see a charity shop, you will find Mrs Metalman inside it. Meeting Adam cheered up the day, as did the Highland cattle, even I liked those :o). Fresh eggs, £1 for half a dozen sounds goof value to me and nice to see the Police Box and in one piece too. Snow, ponies, bridge twirls, community singing and drone footage, all starting the break through the bleak weather and I must go back to Brimham Rocks, it has to be 30 years since I was there last. Well you sure could see how cold it was with all that ice and "Is there anything more beautiful that the Yorkshire Dales in winter? - yes, the Yorkshire Dales in summer #fairweatherhiker :o). To be honest, it was a great 12 mile hike and a 100% better than hibernating indoors, cheers Alan
thanks Alan, think Adam bought one of everything in that sweet shop and we did get to sample some great treats. we indulged in a pork and apple pie from the pie shop across the road, it was honestly the best pie I’ve ever tasted, we got back to Pateley Bridge just before 5pm and we all headed up to the sweet shop and pie shop to buy more. sadly they had both closed (probably sold out). Jill has already made that Lion onesy pay for itself! certainly getting our money back in this cold weather. the highland cattle were lovely, very tiny mind. fresh eggs at that price, had we somewhere safe to carry them that would have been a definite buy! yes the Yorkshire Dales in summer! 😂 certainly looks better in summer although it would have probably been me, not wearing any aftershave or scent, still being followed by a million flies cursing at the top of my voice off camera! whilst stopping every second to tick Buddy each other after every long grass section! blood pressure through the roof in the overgrown sections worrying about standing on an adder id have most likely seen just moments before! (I find winter less challenging but your right it definitely looks bleak)!

Pately Bridge looked pretty impressive when we drove through it last year on our way to the youtuber's collab at Grimworth. On the way back, I hoped we'd have time to call into Brimham Rocks on the way back, but we ran out of day! Great video guys, you're making me want to visit the Yorkshire Dales again.
thank you Andy, definitely worth a visit, especially f you have National Trust membership, although there is some limited road side parking on the far side of the rocks to be had for free. the site is a lot bigger than i had realised, one could easily spend an entire day there. with the right light it is a photographers dream.l
It didn't look bleak at all. I bet that sweet does good all year round but especially good in Summer. I think The rocks looked pretty awesome and a good peak from above. Nice work keeping the Druids Idol upright. I hope Jill isn't still waiting for the bus at that bus stop! 🙂

So what kind of cows are those with the long hair? They are pretty cute. The Brimham Rocks look very cool and a fun place to explore. The ducks were so cute too. I don't think that the Yorkshire Dales are bleak at all in winter. You guys found a lot of fun along the way! 😊👍

In the late 90's me and my besty cracked a squat of 20 houses in the middle of winter up on the moors North of Holmfirth. With thick snow. No water, no electric. 3 or four of the houses had no roofs and we were living leftover flour from the previous occupants and what we could find growing in the garden.
About as close to post apocalypse as you could get.
All my intestinal parasites abandoned me in one go!

I love the Yorkshire Dales, but one thing that is annoying is that there is no place to throw away rubbish! If you go to a park there are no bins, and if you go to the tourist information and use their public toilet, they have signs telling you to take your trash home with you!
Thats a good point actually, a very distinct lack of bins, but it’s easy to find a commercial bin unattended to dump your waste in..
