Hiya guys ! Your old pal Brummie Matt here ! 😁👍 All of Devon is lovely. We particularly like South & East Devon. So, Dawlish, Paignton, Torquay, but I think our favourite place is Sidmouth. Very pretty old fashioned town, which hasn't changed since Victorian times. Beautiful Seafront, gorgeous little town with ornate gardens, nice walks etc. We stay at OAKDOWN Park, which is a lovely site, just out of the town. 10 / 15 mins from the beach though. 👍 Much love to you three. 😀👍
Eh up Matt! Hope alls's well your way pal. We've done Torquay etc but never ventured to the right (if that makes sense) of Torquay or into Dorset. We sortlisted Sidmouth as like you say, it looks really nice. We'll take a look at Oakdown! Thanks for watching and for the advice. Take care 😊
Hi Jo & Mart. Well 12 months has flown by since you picked you Snailey. I think we are all chomping at the bit to get away. Hope to see you soon. Love your New Intro. We need to talk about one for me 😂 Take Care P&J. 👍🙂
Cheers folks 😀 We've had less bickering choosing the colour of kitchen paint than the colour of a channel logo, we got there in the end though! Thanks for watching.
Fingers crossed we can all get out again soon! Sounds like you've got a busy season ahead. Look forward to seeing what you's get up to 😀 Take care folks.
Hi Mart and Jo great to see you both. Hope you are both keeping well? I hope you get your summer holiday sorted! Lincolnshire not bad but North Yorkshire very nice! Best wishes Sue, Brian and The Westies👍🐶🐾🐾🐾😀
Alls' good here thanks folks! They're another two places we want to visit once things are, well, back to sort of normal(ish). Theres not been anything to vlog really. Apart from Jo doing the dishes or me driving to work and back its been humdrum to sat the least 😀 All the best to you and the clan and thanks for watching! Take care 😊
You're very welcome Lynda! Nice one for the pics as I was half expecting a grass covered pile of bits were Snailey once stood 😀 Much appreciated! Catch up with you two soon for a brew!
Hi Jo & Martin It’s really good to see you both, missing our laughs together. Keep the channel going and take care of each other. See you both soon. Nigel. 👍👍
Afternoon Nidge 😀 Great to see you pal! We'll keep plodding on and look forward to meeting up with you again soon. Hopefully sooner rather than later! Take it easy pal 👍
Nice to see you both :) a very happy snaily anniversary and enjoy the awning beatification! There's a tour of the Crossways caravan club site on my channel (deer often roam through) in Morton in Dorset which I really liked (not too car park like!) there's also a CL at the same entrance gate. The CCC club site is directly next door but it's much more conventional i.e. field with hardstandings so personally I much prefer Crossways set amongst the trees. Also tour of the nearby tank museum, monkey world and some messing around in kayaks/on the beach at Studland.
Cheers for the advice Becky, we'll certainly have a good look at that! We're the same, not really into the vast open plan car park type sites. Much prefer something with tree's, dell's and a bit more of a cosy campsite feel atmosphere to it. Thanks for watching 😊 Mart & Jo.
@@ItchyFeetcaravanners forgot to add Crossways (some facilities were (maybe till are) a little more run down looking than other club sites but it didn't bother me in the slightest, it was all super clean!) has v early tech composting loos so you can study the science of what's going on by reading the posters stuck on the inside of each cubicle door :)
Yes. Your back 😷👍. Great catch up guys and I can't recommend anything. Most places are fully booked at the moment. We are finding it hard to book as well (good sites) cheers Paul
Cheers Paul! Exactly mate. The only "safe" way of booking without losing a depsit is with the CAMC but the bulk of their sites are rammed. Hopefully we'll get something sorted soon, as well as a few CL's etc dottted about throughout the year. Thanks for watching and take care. Martin.
Good to hear your plans, Swanage is a nice old fashioned seaside town in Dorset, Corfe Castle is nearby and the Tank museum as well as a heritage railway, lots of CL sites around as well as some club sites and private sites with pools etc. Depends on what you like. Have fun choosing where you go
Thanks Anne 😊 Nothing with too much hustle and bustle but with plenty of days out nearby for the little fella! Here's to the summer! Thanks for the comments, and for watching! Mart & Jo
Cheers Graham. It surprised us too, getting at least 4 bagged so to speak. She's got my head battered now with mustard coloured beautifying scatter cushions 😝
Cheers folks! Roll on when we can drag our little boxes here there and everywhere again. Bicker in awnings, bang the back of our ankles on Aquaroll's and enjoy the season when it starts. Thanks for watching, take it easy 👍
Nice one Lee! Finger's crossed all goes to plan mate, sounds like a great trip you's have got planned there! Look forward to seeing how you get on. Take care. Mart & Jo.
West Bay, Bridport , West Dorset is a beautiful part of the Jurassic Coast. A perfect place to explore surrounding areas. We haven't tried the camc sites there as there is a nice reasonable site that often has deals, Highlands End Holiday Park dog friendly. We have been there a few times since exhausting Cornwall. Have you been to Ilfracombe / Combe Martin way North Devon?
That's pretty much the area we were looking at 😊 Jo's family are from Ilfracombe (Hele bay) and it's a great area! We've never been to Dorset, well not for a holiday anyway, or South East Devon so Charmouth etc seems to be the middle ground for both areas. We prefer, so far, private sites so will give Highlands a look. Thanks for watching. Stay safe. Mart & Jo.
@@ItchyFeetcaravanners charmouth beach isn’t so nice especially for walking dogs on and never liked the sites there, feels squashed with too many people, good for fossil hunting and the place just doesn’t do it for me, ok for a visit. Bridport has everything and some nice peaceful sites a couple CL, Lyme Regis one side Portland etc the other, walks down the cliff into the bay, nice little fish stalls to eat outside fish chowder to die for, one of our favourite places 👍 Highlands is usually cheaper than CAMC sites use to give a free night when booking a 7 night or more
@@Superfandangoo Sound advice that! We don't like going into area's blind so to speak. Especially after a 5+hr drive so thanks very much for taking the time to comment and we'll certainly take that on board. Quaint and cosy are great but once it gets squashed, especially at these times, its a big no-no.
We’ve booked to Devon this year too, we’ve never took the van before but looking forward to it. Happy travels, Dave & Helen 👍
Thanks guys, hope you have a lovely time and maybe see what you get up to if you vlog your adventures! Cheers. Mart & Jo 😊

Hiya Rob. Hope alls' well your way. Yep, slowly but surely trying to cobble something together for the summer. Take care folks
Really good you managed 4 times away 👍🏻 That year has flown by hasn’t it. Enjoy”beautifying” your awning 🤔

We are allowed out end of April so looking forward to that. Enjoy Wales.
