I have the V3M at home and tried the same in the Amplitube, it happens the sound is quality and fidelity is amazing, I no longer use the amp to record my guitar riffs. :).
This Amp is a beast of sound and versatility!

That’s great to hear. I assume in the real amp the switches for channel 1 and 3 aren’t reversed!

You're welcome. I was just playing the lead from Highway to Hell with it and the final note of the lead always died out a little too soon for me, now it lasts too long with the cutting lead preset.

Long ago I had a ridiculously loud Carvin 100W 2X12. I somewhat regret selling it but man that thing was heavy. I recently got a pristine V3M Combo with a V30 and I am as happy as a clam. Short of having a EQ slider section, this thing is about as close to a Mesa/Boogie Mk V that I'm ever going to get. What a great, compact amp; about the same weight as my Boss Katana 100 MkII.

I just stumbled across your V3m video, I had no idea Amplitube has a model of this amp. I own the physical version and can confirm how great it is, especially with some tube swapping to mellow out the gain on channels 1 & 2. There were a lot of complaints about the amp when it was released because like Mesa Boogie the EQ is active and folks did not understand that less is more, or better in my case. I can get huge Bassman cleans and even JTM drive tones from this thing, not just metal as some assume. Now I have to give it a shot in Amplitube!

I used to use a Mesa boogie Mark IV It's a badass amplifier and that's what I use now

I just scored the V3, and while I like tube gear, I don't get lost in the mysticism. Having a background in electrical engineering, I know there's endless mythology surrounding valves, but they do have some characteristics that are favorable. I would say it's almost exclusively in the clipping texture of the highs and upper midrange, and deliver that fizzy, buzzy texture that literally zings and sounds very pleasing.
In the end, every tube amp I have ever owned always ends up being run on the clean channel, the clean gain cranked and a modeler plugged into it. I'm a shred and sweep player coupled with being an engineer, so my standards are really high, but a single tube in the signal chain is enough to produce the traits people desire.
*The ultimate bottom line, however, is you can crank a tube power amp to 100% volume and it's usable, not many solid states can do this and once the semiconductors heat up, they start sounding muffled or even shattery.*

This amp is kinda pushy! Sometimes when I click on the V3M it shows up. Other times it doesn’t. I will put it on the list.
