years ago I started to go out with this girl, I already knew her because she was part of a circle of people I knew, plus in the local metal/alt rock/dark/... scene everybody knew everybody. she was a very troubled girl, every time we hung out she was drunk or on drugs. we always met at night, she would call me and we would go somewhere... to a pub, an alternative disco, the local meeting place of old darks and goths (even older than us) and then we would finish the night drinking wine near or inside a cemetery. she would always ask me if she could come to my place even when she had a boyfriend at that moment and we would listen to 80's dark music or watch old cyndi lauper's music videos, and then go to bed together. she mostly needed to feel safe, and always asked me to sleep with her cuddled up in my arms. some times we made love, but she would always regret it the day after because she was with someone else. she wasn't a good person at all, but she had a very sweet melancholic side which made her special. mostly she tried to make everybody around her miserable though. I didn't mind that. at some point she wrote me an e-mail telling me we couldn't meet anymore (she found yet another bf and was going to live with him) and she dedicated this song to us. she died of a suicide overdose a year later, as she always told me she would have at some point.
