I’m thinking about taking my LTH long tubes and dual 3 inch exhaust off in place of the SPD manifolds and a single 3 inch ( it’s too loud ! lol) I’m right at 1000 wheel. Did you ever have long tubes on Reaper ? If so did you see a significant decrease in power switching to manifolds and were you getting false knock from the long tubes ? Thanks
@@charlievega4414 black truck had LT silver truck had manifolds. Both made over 1100whp From a power standpoint the 3”Ypipe is the biggest contributor. If confident that if I compared LT headers and the same cats I currently had to my spd setup the difference would be minimal “maybe” 5-10hp

Good pump 85 or C85 would get him to 900 wheel hp with a smaller pulley and fuel system upgrade. Can't compare apples to oranges (GT500 vs F150 Coyote) due to the GT500 having better cams that allow it to make more power in the higher RPM range and more displacement (5.2L V8).
@@Davem-f6k True, I forgot to mention that as well. GT500 can get away with running 93 octane due to lower engine compression. More room for error so to speak. With the newer Coyote 5.0s (2018 and up) being 12:1 compression you definitely can't make 900 rwhp on 93 oct.
@johnhahn8464 i believe it's the opposite. If you run smaller diameter tires, you'll hit 100mph when, in reality, you're at 95. However, if you go with bigger tires, the computer will think you're at 95 when in reality you will be at 100mph.
I've talked to a few guys who have a ton of experience with these trucks and they all say that there's not much difference between 4wd and 2wd on the track (prepped surface) but on the street 4wd hooks much better.
@ShadowRaptorGaming I just can't fathom paying 52k for one..I can get a 2wd 2023 for 35k... I'm not trying to rotate the earth my foxbody does that..I just want a true daily that I can slap a Whipple on and go anywhere.. the 4x4 is much more fun but my end goal is 500 to 550 wheel tow vehicle..

@@RadDadisRad whipple modifies at least 100 parameters. If this were a whipple tune then Whipple would be custom tuning a non whipple product. That doesn’t make sense to me.
All that money spent on this kit probly shoulda went to driver training so this all doesn’t go to waste (again) from another crash resulting from complete lack of skill and regard for safety…

3100 is still in development. The Gen 1 was a failure 3 years ago. They are working in a Gen 3 3100 rotor pack that is showing promise. 2650 takes less power to make decent power on the 5.0. Under 800hp the 2650 beats the whipple. Horsepower being the same torque will be higher with the 2650.

4x4 will hook better on any surface, just get 4x4
