    Ok guys what do you think ? What is your favorite sequencer in your arsenal. For me I would say the Polyend Play would be the best but Ive never used one that's why I have an MPC ONE !

      For me it would have to be the Oxi One

    You can play your midi synth as well, had this by accident, the drummachine playing notes in a very unexpected way, cause it was sending midi to the wrong channel but ended up sounding very nice, little jumpy bouncy melody

    Oh man, really great--hit the roller function and the time sig stuff for real craziness. The drumbrute and drumbrute impact are the best drum sequencers out there, so so fun. Awesome idea here, thanks.

    There it is! the detail that sold a Drumbrute Impact for me! Nobody freakin talks about how it can be used as a pad controller / sequencer... I was looking at this for my hardware setup, but I dont want to have to get a pad controller for my DAW creations. Looks like this does both, thats all i want haha thanks for making it clear!

      I’m sure you can find one but just not at your basic retail store as they are discontinued. Best of luck it is a fine machine

      Can you still use this as a controller/sequencer on the Drumbrute Impact? Or was that option only available on the original Drumbrute that's used in the video?

      Oh sweet. So I’m assuming the impact has the same external sequence option ? Well any way I’m going to do another video on it cause I’ve had a blast using the Drumbrute as a sequencer . Hey I got some new videos out and coming check them out if you have a chance . Take care

      Yeah I'd like to know if you can still use the Impact as an external sequencer as well?

    I've never even thought of connecting the drum brute through the mac. Just sync to other instruments.

      It is now my favorite sequencer to use . It’s the heart of my small set up separate from my MPC setup .

    Hey man, great stuff! I apologize in advance for being such a noob. I have a yamaha reface and a drumbrute impact. How do i get to do what you did? I have no idea, just started getting into music. Do i need to download a program? Thanks in advance

      Hey sorry for the late reply. There is nothing to do for the drum machine to send midi notes. For the most part. There is Arturia software that you need to turn on midi send and you can customize what midi notes you want to send . Also the time for midis clock can all be controlled by the software. Download it and connect your Drumbrute and your good to go for updates and more

    with what program are you mapping the notes?

    • @longlostrobots8146
      @longlostrobots8146  Рік тому +1

      all the notes are sequenced from the drum machine. So instead of drum sounds it sends midi to whatever you want . Really cool for a drum machine.

      @@longlostrobots8146 Hello thank you for your answer,what i mean is that on 1:06 you show us a program where you can see some kind of mapping,i am guessing that in order to configure this ,the Drumbrute should be connected by USB(?),but what exactly should we configure there in order to have our synths play through the drumbrute.Have a nice day!

    • @longlostrobots8146
      @longlostrobots8146  Рік тому +1

      Ok I got you . Yes that is where you map out your midi notes . If you look at any piano roll you will see for instance C1 C2 and so forth for all notes . Most controllers will have the ability to map these notes . You can get specific on how you want it or keep it simple .

    • @longlostrobots8146
      @longlostrobots8146  Рік тому +1

      The program for all Arturia gear is midi control center. So simply put it maps Piano notes to the pads . I could map all F notes if I wanted . Take care
