On my last trip to Florida, I made the decision to go out on a drift fishing charter. The initial goal of this mission was to simply try to catch some new species of fish and have some fun doing it! In the end I managed to find a way to get the fish cleaned and cooked...In Florida!
The day started off pretty gloomy as it was very rainy and conditions not the best for fishing. None the less, we loaded up on the 70ft boat and headed out to the fishing grounds.
It was a pretty long drive out in terms of time, but when we finally got to fishing, the bite was pretty quick! Although to me, the fishing time was wayyyyy too short...I did manage to get a few new species checked off the bucket list!
