1968 Vw Beetle The easiest engine to get running

I had purchased this 1968 Sketchy VW beetle from a person locally. They were having difficulty getting the engine running and were sick of it sitting around. The moment we got it home we hooked up 2 wires and had this car running thanks to my father who is very knowledgable in this department lol. I wanted to share this little trick with all of you so you can A) by pass your wiring if your having issues or B) get a motor running on the bench or on the stand for testing.

Fuel shut off solenoid is the part you're looking at..prevents dieseling on when you shut down
