This very video of yours was not judgmental unlike many other videos of same incident . This was a 'one in a million' possibility scenario and Pilots acted aptly to get it airborne somehow. Rest of the things are later to deal with. In yesteryear's of standard flying practice(and still in military), both PIC and PM push throttle lever together during take-off and further until V₃ is achieved. Air India's call to divert to Mumbai is questionable; There could be many if's and buts after dissecting the incident in room temperature, but it was the pilot's reflex that saved the day.
