A lot of people failed these kids. CPS, the school system, the mother, the father, relatives no one protected these kids. It's so sad what happened to them. They are with the angels now.

I was molested at 12 by my dad's good friend. The hardest part was when my parents told me " That it was my fault". But, this event caused me to be a better parent to my children. I even told my father years later that this event broke my heart. I still have trust issues. But, I would never turn my back on my children , and I will always protect them , and keep a line of open communication , and furthermore I built a loving safe home. I even took in my brother who is 18 years younger then myself and he has a terminal issue. My parents decided that they were to old too raise another child. I don't know how some people can live with themselves , and still look in the mirror and call themselves people.
They were apparently adopted by a relative that was actually a child victim investigator for the police department and said she knew some abuse was occurring but not to what extent

I've come across some creeps who claim that their deviant behavior / mentality is because of their childhood. I asked : Why didn't you tell a family member, teacher or police? There was no response. But after seeing this unconscionable madness, I now believe that their abuse never happened. And the fact that these creeps are actively trying to lure people into such horrific criminal acts, leads me to believe that their " stories" are only a ploy to both justify their actions are only geared toward creating sympathy for them if they are ever caught. These sociopaths actually tried to convince me that I was molested as a child, which I was not.. I'd never lie on my parents like that.. Im 52 years old.. And my parents are deceased.Are they serious? I knew none of these people as a child. And really, we were briefly ( one year. I'm sorry your unable to conceive children however if anyone of us was in this situation we can not and I repeat can not say we would not have responded the same way. Completely agree, well adjusted children would never have such deviant behaviors. I don’t think she sexually assaulted them, but I think they were introduced to sexuality extremely early since she has deep seated issues about rape. The children were beaten their whole life in my opinion, I had a similar upbringing except sexual deviation towards me or anyone else.
The younger child hadn't any sign that could prove that he was abused. What's more, when u do something because u are angry, you do it without thinking twice. She planned the murder of her children and she tortured them. I have 2 theories about this case: 1.She is a psychopath and she did it for pleasure. She wanted them to suffer as she suffered in her childhood. 2. She abused them, then she killed them because she was afraid that they could tell it to someone. And in both cases she probably planned to use the excuse that they abused her younger son to get a shorter sentence.

There is no way the kid was molested. She made it up to somehow save herself by justifying the killings. Would you keep on molesting your brother knowing that your other brother got killed for it and worse, his body is in the freezer for you to remember every day. Why didn't the other kid accused his sister of being the instigator before he died. And how did she find out that the girl was abusing her dead brother? And most importantly, when she condensed to the crime she was constantly asked what did they say when you asked them if they did it, she couldn't answer. She was dancing around the question. Until she was pressured to answer and she says, my daughter said no! You need all that time and she only said no. When she killed her daughter she said that she asked her to apologize to his little brother, and in this question she was asked what did she say? She doesn't answer until she is asked again... The answer is a No. Yeah, somehow she confesses to have molested her two brothers after denying it for so long to the point that her mother had to beat the confession out of her. So , to stop the abuse she confesses and somehow she was dumb enough to defy her crazy mother by refusing to apologize knowing that she is going to be brutally beaten for it.... No way she is lying.

Just retired from 25 years of working with Child Protective Services supporting case workers. 25 years and I never stopped being amazed at the horror "we" visit upon our own children. One of the signs that a species is in distress is that they kill their own young - among other things. This woman is a monster, no denying that. I truly believe that whatever has happened to you (or me) when we become adults, we are responsible for our actions, regardless of the reasons. I learned that there are reasons for child or elder abuse, but it is not an excuse. Those poor children; it is hard to imagine but I've seen worse - think about that - become a foster or adoptive parent, become a big sister or big brother. Try to do something to actually help kids like these. If nothing else, love you own kids, take care of them as they are precious, and if you need help ASK FOR IT

I went through physical, sexual and and emotional abuse and God blessed me with 2 beautiful children that I adore. Abusing them making them feel less than human is not even a thought. i believe the oldest daughter was molested by uncle on dad's side then brought the effects from it home and molested her little brothers. I cannot belief a defense attorney would blame innocent DEAD children at a sentencing. There are no words I could possibly write that would explain how I feel about anything to do with this horrific case. My thoughts are with the remaining children. Judge missed the point entirely. Saying how the kids are dead and would never experience x y and z because of the death sentence they were given, and comparing that to Mitchelle's situation as a child.... despite the fact the kids were the perpetrators here and Mitchelle, as a child, was the victim. She also said the kids only ever lived in fear of their mother, which I'm not even sure where she got that from, but it's obviously not entirely true since the kids abused their brother without fear of retribution from the mother they allegedly lived in fear of.

Now that i watched this, it’s clear she is telling the truth. But it’s still so much missing. One, she never got healed from her trauma. That doesn’t excuse it but, it explains the intensity of everything. What caused them kids to do it? Did the youngest‘ son’s father do something to them? Where was she at during all of the sexual abuse? Where was the oldest daughter during this abuse? Not finger pointing but it’s three sides to a story. I do think those older children were harming the youngest but not to that extent. Because if it was and her being the mother she claimed to be, she would’ve noticed way more than what she was saying. I think the truth is, they were harming him. She found out and she Lost it because 1, she never (nor had the chance) to heal from her own abuse 2, she felt as a mother she didn’t protect them as her’s failed to 3, her resentment for the girl’s father was on top of all that 4, sexual abuse was her trigger. I don’t agree with what she’s done but when you think about black women and the effects of poverty, trauma and mental illness going untreated and lord knows a million other factors she’s not saying, this is sadly the result. You know I was obsessed with case for awhile and it almost tormented me. But seeing the judge give her final word one last time gave me closure. I do keep everyone involved in this tragic case in my prayers. Maybe in another life, they can all be happy.
Here is what I don't understand. The judge at the end said that Blair would receive credit for 115 days that she has already served. But, if the sentence is life, the credit means nothing.

She is in her 50's and still has times when she needs to be listened to as she cries /shakes but she was /is determined not to have this affect her children /grandbabies and has raised them with love and patients. I was molested at 12 by my dad's good friend. The hardest part was when my parents told me " That it was my fault". But, this event caused me to be a better parent to my children. I even told my father years later that this event broke my heart. I still have trust issues. But, I would never turn my back on my children , and I will always protect them , and keep a line of open communication , and furthermore I built a loving safe home. I even took in my brother who is 18 years younger then myself and he has a terminal issue. My parents decided that they were to old too raise another child. I don't know how some people can live with themselves , and still look in the mirror and call themselves people.

She planned the murder of her children and she tortured them. I have 2 theories about this case: 1.She is a psychopath and she did it for pleasure. And most importantly, when she condensed to the crime she was constantly asked what did they say when you asked them if they did it, she couldn't answer. She was dancing around the question. Until she was pressured to answer and she says, my daughter said no! You need all that time and she only said no. When she killed her daughter she said that she asked her to apologize to his little brother, and in this question she was asked what did she say? She doesn't answer until she is asked again... The answer is a No. Yeah, somehow she confesses to have molested her two brothers after denying it for so long to the point that her mother had to beat the confession out of her. So , to stop the abuse she confesses and somehow she was dumb enough to defy her crazy mother by refusing to apologize knowing that she is going to be brutally beaten for it.... No way she is lying.

Just retired from 25 years of working with Child Protective Services supporting case workers. 25 years and I never stopped being amazed at the horror "we" visit upon our own children. One of the signs that a species is in distress is that they kill their own young - among other things. This woman is a monster, no denying that. I truly believe that whatever has happened to you (or me) when we become adults, we are responsible for our actions, regardless of the reasons. I learned that there are reasons for child or elder abuse, but it is not an excuse. Those poor children; it is hard to imagine but I've seen worse - think about that - become a foster or adoptive parent, become a big sister or big brother. Try to do something to actually help kids like these. If nothing else, love you own kids, take care of them as they are precious, and if you need help ASK FOR IT

i believe the oldest daughter was molested by uncle on dad's side then brought the effects from it home and molested her little brothers. Sexually abused children often repeat their own molestation later on. i don't agrer with the mother killing her kids....... i just wish they all could've gotten the help they needed in time.

I cannot belief a defense attorney would blame innocent DEAD children at a sentencing. There are no words I could possibly write that would explain how I feel about anything to do with this horrific case. My thoughts are with the remaining children. Judge missed the point entirely. Saying how the kids are dead and would never experience x y and z because of the death sentence they were given, and comparing that to Mitchelle's situation as a child.... despite the fact the kids were the perpetrators here and Mitchelle, as a child, was the victim.
She also said the kids only ever lived in fear of their mother, which I'm not even sure where she got that from, but it's obviously not entirely true since the kids abused their brother without fear of retribution from the mother they allegedly lived in fear of.

It’s so sick how the mom made her help her with certain things after their death she didn’t want to and has guilt for life. Now that i watched this, it’s clear she is telling the truth. But it’s still so much missing. One, she never got healed from her trauma. That doesn’t excuse it but, it explains the intensity of everything. What caused them kids to do it? Did the youngest‘ son’s father do something to them? Where was she at during all of the sexual abuse? Where was the oldest daughter during this abuse? Not finger pointing but it’s three sides to a story. I do think those older children were harming the youngest but not to that extent. Because if it was and her being the mother she claimed to be, she would’ve noticed way more than what she was saying. I think the truth is, they were harming him. She found out and she Lost it because 1, she never (nor had the chance) to heal from her own abuse 2, she felt as a mother she didn’t protect them as her’s failed to 3, her resentment for the girl’s father was on top of all that 4, sexual abuse was her trigger.
I don’t agree with what she’s done but when you think about black women and the effects of poverty, trauma and mental illness going untreated and lord knows a million other factors she’s not saying, this is sadly the result. Im praying for those surviving children.

You know I was obsessed with case for awhile and it almost tormented me. But seeing the judge give her final word one last time gave me closure.

Here is what I don't understand. The judge at the end said that Blair would receive credit for 115 days that she has already served. But, if the sentence is life, the credit means nothing.

Trust and believe her mother shared that exact same spirit! They allowed her to be sexually abused. The negativity and visciousness from her own youth and upbringing. Her mother and possibly grandmother were probably also single parent households and she couldn’t seem to catapult her own life in a more positive direction. I raised two children on my own. My sons dad was there for him, my daughters father was not. I had zero support for myself and it's hard. All parents need supportive people in their lives. Children need both parents.
Her lawyer was not a good lawyer. Actually i take that back i guess he did the best he could given the cards he was dealt.
It was nothing he could do. She plead guilty. But he is always defending bad mothers. This the second murder he tried to defend.

In an ideal stage she'd be sentenced to death because there's no evidence, only what she stated. Although I'm just watching this for entertainment and do no give a sht about the whole thing, there's nothing to be done.
Completely agree with her attorney. The father’s, the school, the families …. They all failed these kids. All of it was a recipe for complete disaster. Abuse, sexual abuse, mental health issues, social issues … this was all horrible. I’m glad Mitchelle took responsibility for her actions, and will serve her time. But they all have those babies blood on their hands.

She infuriates me and breaks my heart at the same time. What those kids went through at her hand, I cannot even imagine. What she went through in her life, I also can't imagine. She really believes that the abuse by the two children she murdered happened. Whether it did or not, I don't think we'll ever know but she believes it. And if it really did happen, then there is so much more trauma in this family than we will ever know.

She did NOT believe the abuse happened. She tormented a 5 year old for DAYS until he said yes. It gave her the justification to then go on and torture her own flesh and blood to death. Do NOT excuse what she did. There is no justification!
It never happened. The younger child stated it never happened while in therapy. Just used that to justify her actions

Yes her childhood left deep wounds and changed her. That's why she had such a strong reaction to what her 2 kids did to the other kid.
We will probably never even know the half of the horror that it was to live with this woman. I just hope that her surviving children get exactly what they need and deserve.

Pickeledcoconut it's very sad but my wife is a survivor of abuse /rape (8-16.!) the pain of their terror from abuse doesn't leave. She is in her 50's and still has times when she needs to be listened to as she cries /shakes but she was /is determined not to have this affect her children /grandbabies and has raised them with love and patients. There should never be an acuse.
