  • Dame Diana Johnson has told the Politics Hub With Sophy Ridge that the police and CPS should investigate the infected blood scandal.
The senior Labour MP said there are "real questions about whether there's some criminal activity in this, and whether the police and the CPS need to look at what happened".
She went on to say such action should be considered, pointing to boys being experimented on in a boarding school, which is "a criminal offence".
"Doctors were playing God with children's lives," she added.

Doctors are to blame. This is why the medical education needs to be reformed.
The doctor apprenticeships are the right way to educate doctors. Majority of medical graduates don't know how things work in the hospital. Too much theory and no practical. We can have a million fresh doctors and every single one of them and combined would be absolutely useless in hospitals. Very few if not none have learned surgical skills, something the NHS needs to tackle the backlog.

Thatcher and Ken the health secretary knew about the concerns back in the 1980's but said they was no widespread risk from the blood yet over 30,000 people were affected, Labour came later and were concerned about the cost to the government/taxpayer. Our local MP Diana Johnson took up the baton on behalf of families to put pressure on the government for an enquiry this was announced in 2017 by Mrs. May. Both parties are to blame, although many current Labour MP's was in government at the time. The NHS and doctors also covered it up as the case said.

In France people were arrested and in Japan they were arrested. In the UK we are now waiting...Why were the US donating blood from homeless and prisoners. Some people have received money already, like the Post Office.

I can't help but think that in decades to come we will be hearing similar things said about those pushing for more recent coerced medical interventions.

An apology is just words and means nothing.
These people have been fighting for justice for decades and ignored by all governments in power.
