- Labelled the "worst treatment disaster in the NHS", the infected blood scandal saw more than 30,000 people infected with HIV and Hepatitis C after being treated with contaminated blood products.
It happened in the 1970s and 1980s, and after decades of campaigning for justice, victims and their families will finally get answers in a milestone report out on Monday after a six year long inquiry.

Not one word about how the NHS made A LOT of money and chose to not test the blood. Don't blame the donors. Don't blame importing of blood. Blame those who gained financial wealth while choosing to not spend money testing the blood.
No testing was done on the blood before administering it !? For all these years people were getting skanky blood!?
From addicts. Yep. People forced to sell their blood to support their habits. Habits gained from living in our soul destroying system(s).
What people don't know is that they sent contaminated blood from the UK to Ireland and thousands were infected here. My mum got lucky when she gave birth to my sister but my aunt not so lucky; she had her baby a month later and, like my mum, needed a blood transfusion but for her the blood was contaminated and she ended up with HepC and she has had some many health issues since. It is disgusting
Why wasn't the blood screened? Whose responsibility was this? 🤔
Exactly the same is happening now with covid vaccines and childhood vaccines. Why isn't RS saying sorry for these. Will even this timid comment be censored? I could be saying far far worse.
