Looks like both of those would be a great addition to any survival set, mostly because they are light and easy to carry. A good walking stick can be a great accessory as well.

@@AdventureswithSpackmann exactly I might take it apart.. break it down into small pieces.. and carry it in a bag ..inside of a backpack because that's about all it's good for.. I've got a sewing kit inside of one of those little Altoid tins.. and I've got fish hooks inside of another one of those tins.. and I've got matches in another one when you get done with the peppermints.. you can put little things inside of the tin.. and then put it inside of your backpack.. because that's what I did.. I've got a little sandwich bag with shoelaces and a ball of a hemp and it.. save the cotton balls out of your aspirin too they make great fire starters.. I even have a striker Rod I don't smoke but I carry lighters too.. I got a roll of fishing line.. I'm going to have to get everything out to find out.. what exactly I stuffed in there LOL.. It might be good enough for a short distance ..but I would need a larger pack for anything longer in the woods.. and I don't think I can carry anything larger my legs are screwed up as it is..
