I always thought the back wall o’ weapons looked a lot like my wall when I was a teenager. Really brings back memories of a kid all badass, collecting martial arts weapons of the 70’s -80’s , barely skilled with any of them , but dangerous enough to hurt himself, and less upon others. Thanks for your videos, really brings back lots of memories of this misspent youth.
That’s so funny, because my wall was like that too as a kid. I think that’s how I got the idea of doing it for my videos. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I use an old weapon, a SAP. I make my own but you can buy them. I melt old wheel weights and use a soup spoon as a mold. I then sew the lead into two pieces of leather. I make them 8 to 10 inches long. I’m now 71 years old and can’t physically fight anyone but I did use it to prevent me from being mugged and robbed. A young guy in a Walmart parking lot tried to rob me and I fractured his skull and broke one of his ribs. After they took the kid to the hospital the cop that took the report from me was more interested in my SAP. He had heard of them but never actually seen one. He then arrested me for carrying an illegal weapon. Luckily the judge didn’t see it that way and I wasn’t charged.
Thanks for the video. My favorite is the War Hammer Walking Stick. I use a cane anyway, so this type of device is practical for me. I generally want something that is thirty-seven or thirty-seven-and-a-half inches. This one would be a little short for me. I wish the makers of these kinds of canes would make them a little longer with the option to cut the to ideal length for the user. This walking stick has ridges raised above the rest of the shaft at the top and bottom. Those ridges look nice, but I think that they are a bad tactical choice. They do give an attacker more chances to get a good grip on the walking stick if someone thrusts at them with the walking stick. In the same way, I would rather the tip be a simple cane tip or furniture leg tip that slides over the end of the cane instead of a foot that screws onto the end. I think the texturing that they put on the staff would be fairly hard to grab, but the ridge or the foot would be easier to grab. If the manufacturer eliminated the ridge, that's one less thing to grab. If the tip is covered by a slip-over cane tip or furniture leg tip, then an attacker trying to pull the cane out of the defender's hand is more likely to pull the tip off the end rather than getting the whole cane. I've watched a huge number of Matt Pasquinilli videos about using this kind of tool for self-defense. To me, the best first move is a thrust at my attacker. If someone is attacking me, I'm going to make that thrust and try to pull the cane away from the person fairly quickly after making a hard thrust. I'm hoping that I'll cause enough pain to the attacker's torso that he won't have great strength to hold onto the cane. My second move is likely to be a two-handed swinging strike with the tip of the cane again. Personally, I'd prefer that the texturing at the bottom of the cane be centered around a spot about two-thirds of the way up the shaft. My third strike is likely to be a two-handed thrust of the middle of the cane into the attacker's face. My fourth strike would probably be with the head of the cane, and I would be holding the cane at the two-thirds positions instead of making a full baseball bat or sledgehammer swing. The other sequence for me might be a series of thrusts to keep the attacker at long distance while I employ another self-defense tool that would make a great deal of noise. I also tend to practice a sequence where I'm being attacked from behind. If the attack is coming from the side of the hand that is holding the cane, I'm going to put both hands on the shaft and try to drive the handle into the nose of the attacker. If the attack is coming from the side opposite the hand that is holding the cane, I'm going to bring the cane to a horizontal position and try to drive the tip into the attacker's stomach or solar plexus. Ultimately, I'd probably prefer this stick with a more traditional walking stick or cane handle design. This hammer head could still work pretty well. One nice thing about a cane with a traditional hook design is that I can hang it over my belt easily and use both hands to do something. There's a part of me that likes weapons with the fewest moving parts and no need for electricity. Even so, the Mini Stinger Stun Gun could do a good job for many people. The addition of a flashlight is always helpful. If I were designing one that was disabled when pulled from the user's wrist, I'd consider adding a speaker so that the stun gun would emit a loud, warbling alarm if it were pulled from the user's wrist. I would also have the flashlight start blinking quickly. The attacker would not only be unable to use the stun gun against the defender but also be stuck having to deal with the noise and light. The Dark Combat Tanto Knife falls to third place for me. I'm just not a fan of sawbacks, and the design just doesn't look nice. I can't see myself ever getting one of these. On the other hand, "too many knives" just isn't an idea that computes for me. If things went very, very bad in our society and we found ourselves in a survival situation, we would probably find uses for any knives that we owned. The Pocket Chain Dart is cute. I just can't see a practical use for it. If I wanted something big that I could use as a fist load or kubaton, I'd probably just make something out of wood or rebar. I can't see myself ever being proficient with a dart device. Chain darts are for cool people like you and DJ.
Yeah, that's pretty dope! Imho, they should make another model with a steel hammer, a little bit of weight on the one end would be better for protection. It could break bones and/or knock the potential offender unconscious. This model would be too light and wouldn't cause enough damage to scare a big guy away. It could make someone even more angry...
I wonder if a telescoping version would be strong enough, and if so, that would allow it to be a hiking staff. Also, what about a pick/hatchet head (that’s “hold-able”) for the top. Maybe a quick-release cover on the hatchet blade. And now for my next idea… a staff with a round head on it, and the head is held down on the staff-end by a rope or chain. The round head disconnects from the staff (but rope is still attached to the staff) and becomes a “monkey fist” that can be used at a bit of a distance. When not in use for Defence, the round head would look like a decorative knob or finial on the top of the staff.
So many techniques of the walking stick you may possibly not be aware of. Great video for my intro to your channel. Wooden dummy is a perfect choice for the demonstration of the power/pain of all these defense items. Bartitsu is an intersection of styles that is lost to most. Stay Blessed
I have to go with the war hammer walking stick. One good swing and even thor would fill that. Have a blessed weekend. Great video and selection as always Amanda. Nice packaging idea.
All of these weapons are awesome and have a place/purpose. Pick one that you believe is most useful and practical...and PRACTICE! Even just a few minutes a week makes a huge difference. Get a good feel for it, a little confidence and competence goes a long way! Great video!
You said that perfectly, Jim! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment. It really means a lot to me! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
The cases for presenting the weapons gives the whole video a "Q showing James Bond his next gadget" - feel to it. Very elegant! Also, it's kinda interesting to not see that little blue spear-fishing blade in the Kombativ background anymore...because as I watch this video, it's actually in a fine leather sheath on my belt at the moment. ;-) And favorite weapon? The War Hammer Walking Cane, as I use something similar due to my bad back.
Thanks Brother! Did Amanda actually sell you the blue spear-fishing blade directly from my background😂. That’s hilarious! I’m glad you like it! Thanks so much for all your support over the years. It really means a lot to me.
Love the cane. I actually bought a Cold steel cane with like an ax head (all that tough plastic material). I had to shorten it and then find big enough rubber footing to for over it, which wasn't an easy task to find, but i did eventually. I think i like the handle design of this War Hammer cane better as far as usefulness. Not that I think either one would be fun to whacked with. Lol
Absolutely love the War Hammer!!! I was telling the wife it was time for a cane due to my health but I did not want to look old or disabled. The War Hammer commands respect! Second place the Brush spike for the Daughter.
I have a similar walking stick but one side of the head is a hammer head and the other is glass breaker. It's made of anodized aluminum and weighs more than a pound. I used it to replace my broken cane (disabled Vet). It's got a different foot on it but virtually the same except the shaft is sections and I can hide camp utensils in each one. It would be an excellent defense tool for using bayonet drills as the hammer head end would make good approximation of butt stroke swings and the foot end would definitely hurt but not penetrate if used as a blade end.
Hey Brian! Yeah, I just started making videos for the channel a couple of months ago. I really appreciate all your support over the years. It means a lot to me!
The Pocket Chain Dart rocks, I think this would serve ANYONE WHO WOULD PRACTICE WITH IT SOME. As well as the Combat Tanto Knife this Knife looks OUTSTANDING AND BEAUTIFUL CONSTRUCTED!!!!
I've never thought that I needed a pocket chain dart until now 😂. How is the chain attached to body? Feel like they missed a great opportunity to put a blade in the warhammer cane. That T handle would make the unscrewing process a lot more efficient.
That’s an excellent point! We do have another Warhammer cane that does have a sword in the shaft. The chain is welded into the pocket chain dart, so it’s extremely secure. Thanks so much for all your support! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
Awesome video again this week and great job Amanda picking out weapons and good job on the video recorder Ian and thanks Kyle for getting shocked again for and it is hard to pick this week I have to pick the war hammer walking Stick followed by the tanto knife then the packet dart
I really like the pocket chain whip. More bang for your buck with that defense tool. My second favorite would have to be the tanto. I'm a big fan of the tanto style blades. Thanks again, Kyle. Stay awesome 😎👍
Hey Kyle love the weapons mate I love the tanto not to sure about the dart but at least you show and tell us how to use the weapons great video mate as usual take care bye for now
Thanks Benny! All of the weapons on the wall behind me are weapons I tested over the years on the KarateMart UA-cam channel. Thanks so much for watching!
Awesome video and i really like the tanto knife i like the style and the design and the walking stick looks nice too but again you still need to have additional skills if the attacker grabs your stick. And i have also subscribed to this channel as well and i have also shared this video on X for you too.
@@kombativ_com Thank you i have been following you guys on Karate mart for a long time now and i didn´t know you had this channel as well but i really like this one as well.
You're right about the War Hammer being easy to lose to a trained fighter. It looks slow to swing and the bad guy would see in coming a mile away. I'd like to see something shorter, maybe 25" where it could still be a short walking stick, but would be quicker to swing, especially with one hand. Kind of like a night stick or expandable baton. You could parry with your weak hand to create an opening. I'd also like to see a very thin titanium flashlight about 18" long with a good grip. Its main use would be as a flashlight, but in reality, it's primarily use would be as an impact weapon.
Of the things you showed. I would only be interested in the Walking stick/war hammer. But even that has its limitations. Because you need room to swing it, for the full effect.
That’s so kind of you to say! You made my day! I really appreciate that! I’m having a lot of fun making the videos again. Thanks so much for all your support! It means a lot to me!
Thats why you guys are so much smarter sincerely, vengeance is the lords . America is on its way down with the election of a felon ,Pray for us because that idiot is just going to make things worse!
Hi Kim, I’m not sure if you are referring to the crossbow I showed off in a different video, but if you are, it has an 80 lb draw, which will give it a pretty good range. If you have any more questions about any of our crossbows, please feel free to call us at 1-800-696-0436. Thanks so much for watching!
I had training in use of a police baton for crowd control. Obvious it is critical not to lose control of the baton so any long extension in crowded situation is very risky. I am old now and need a cane and my baton training still applies, basically you want to keep control of both ends of the cane. Your warhammer cane is pure ugly, but looks like it can do the job. Thanks
Kyle, Brother. You should add that D2 steel is a semi-stainless steel and when heat treated properly is an awesome knife steel. D2 steel holds an edge very well but can be a little hard to sharpen. The walking stick is a cool weapon, but I think you missed a move that would be most effective and that's the quick groin strike. A hit to that area on a man or woman would put most people down. Love the show.
You make some really excellent points, Joe! I appreciate all your knowledge and am thankful for your comment. I hope you have an excellent weekend, my friend!
You have a large traditional style Bowie Knife with a wooden handle on the wall behind you. Who makes it, what is it called, and do you sell it on your website?
Hi! Thanks so much for watching! All of the weapons on the wall behind me were weapons we tested on the KarateMart UA-cam channel. Some of them failed the tests and we chose not to carry them, and some of them passed the tests and are currently available for sale on either www.KarateMart.com or www.Kombativ.com. If there is a specific one you aren’t seeing on those websites. Please call our customer service team at 1-800-696-0436 and they will be able to figure it out for you. Thanks so much for watching!
That’s a great question! I have a number of friends who use wheelchairs and are incredible martial artists. So, really any weapon you are able to utilize with your hands should work. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I personally like the war hammer walking stick. My only question is can it be cut down to a better fit for a short person. I’m a bit over 5 feet tall, so a 36 inch long cane is a little bit too long. 😊
That’s a great question, Raymond. It is made from a nylon fiber material, and the toe can be removed. So, with a hacksaw, you could cut off part of the stick and replace the toe on the new length. Thanks so much for watching!
I like the war hammer walking stick, but the problem I have is the length. I currently use a walking stick and it is about 31", so the 36"would be be way too long for me.😊
That makes sense to me, Mark! I totally understand. One of the nice things about it being made out of nylon fiber is that if you wanted to, you could shorten it by removing the “toe” and using a hacksaw to cut it to the proper length before reattaching the toe. But, that would take a little work. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
✓ Thanks for the video, your presentation is always awesome 🔥♥️🔥 I love the Pocket Chain Dark, you have a kind of "surprise in the stick"🎉 ✓ Do you know when the international shipping (in France for my case) will be available for your weapons ⁉️ I have a lot of self defense weapons to buy 🛡️⛓️🗡️
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! Unfortunately, at this point we don’t have any plans on international shipping again. It became so time consuming keeping track of the various laws in each Country and we were losing tons of packages. Maybe one day, there will be a better system in place to do it. I’m really sorry about that. Thank you so much for watching, though.
Hi Ben! We never post prices in our videos because they change over time, but there are links to each of them in the video description if you would like more information. Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks for the video.

As usual, that is an excellent breakdown of the weapons! I hope you have an awesome weekend, my friend!
Walking stick was cool, I randomly came across this video. Thanx for sharing!!!
Thank you so much for saying that. I’m really glad you stumbled upon my video. I hope you have an excellent weekend!
Very happy I found this channel and appreciate the enthusiasm on display for all weapons . 👍🏻
Thanks Craig! That’s so nice of you to say! I hope you are having an excellent week!
As an old f@rt,i liked the war hammer walking stick 😂
I love it too! Thank you, my friend! I hope you are having an excellent week!
I have one too, united has the tonfa nightstick i want but nys claims its illegal, and they wont even send it.
Yeah, that's pretty dope! Imho, they should make another model with a steel hammer, a little bit of weight on the one end would be better for protection. I'd go with the Warhammer walking stick and the pocket chain dart. The Pocket Chain is versatile and the Warhammer is nice.
Awesome! I love both of those weapons. I hope you have a great weekend, my friend!
I wonder if a telescoping version would be strong enough, and if so, that would allow it to be a hiking staff. Also, what about a pick/hatchet head (that’s “hold-able”) for the top. Thanks Ellen! Great ideas! I’ve seen that staff weapon in anime and video games before. It is a pretty sweet concept. Thanks so much for watching!
First minute in already a great video,I subscribed💯😉😎👌
You are so nice to say that! Thank you so much for being such a kindhearted person. I really appreciate that! Have an awesome weekend, my friend!
I love the Walking Stick. Peace ✌️ ☮️
Thanks John! I like it too! I hope you are having an excellent week!
The tactical tanto looks badass.
It really is! Thank you so much for watching! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
Seems a good, fast upward groin strike with Warhammer would be an eye opener
Yes, it would! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
So many techniques of the walking stick you may possibly not be aware of. Great video for my intro to your channel. Wooden dummy is a perfect choice for the demonstration of the power/pain of all these defense items. Bartitsu is an intersection of styles that is lost to most. Stay Blessed

love this!! I will subscribe! love the energy and the weaponry!
Thank you so much! That is so kind of you to say! I hope you are having an excellent weekend!
When you need a walking stick but love Warhammer.
Exactly! I hope you are having an excellent week, my friend!
I have to go with the war hammer walking stick.
One good swing and even thor would fill that.
Have a blessed weekend.
Great video and selection as always Amanda.
Nice packaging idea.
Excellent choice, Kyle! You’re the best! I hope you have an awesome weekend, my brother!
Nice secondary weapons

Thanks Brian! You’re the best, my friend!
Great video kyle! Cool weapons thanks!
Thank you so much, my friend! Your kind-hearted and positive comments really mean a lot to me. I hope you have an excellent weekend!

Little known fact: Until his passing it was the same actor who played Q throughout the entire series of movies.
The pocket chain dart reminds me of what Go-Go used on the movie “Kill Bill” 💪🏽
Ahhh…I can see that! That’s a great movie reference! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
She's definitely sadistic! 😆
I'm glad I stumbled upon this channel. I subbed up, I love weaponry
Yes, she is! Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I hope you are having an excellent week!

😂😂😂😂 the look on your face when you pulled out the mini stinger stun gun 😂😂😂😂 it looked like you were shaking when you were holding it.
Hahaha! Very true! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!

Amanda loves her job.😂
Yes, she does! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Good video! 🎉
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I hope you have an excellent week!
I really like the pocket chain whip. More bang for your buck with that defense tool. My second favorite would have to be the tanto. I'm a big fan of the tanto style blades. Thanks again, Kyle. Stay awesome 😎👍
Thanks Matt! I really appreciate that! I hope you have an excellent weekend, my friend!
Vell done comrade !! ✌
Thank you, Shirley! I really appreciate that! I hope you are having an excellent week!
I'm digging the war hammer walking stick. I utilize a walking stick anyway. Great EDC for me.
Awesome, Walter! Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it!

I like your weapons wall behind you.
Thanks Benny! All of the weapons on the wall behind me are weapons I tested over the years on the KarateMart UA-cam channel. Thanks so much for watching!
a steel nut on a sturdy string works great also
That’s true! Sometimes improvised weapons can be the best weapons! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
The dart and tanto were my favs.
Awesome! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! Thanks so much for all your support over the years. It really means a lot to me.
Awesome video and i really like the tanto knife i like the style and the design and the walking stick looks nice too but again you still need to have additional skills if the attacker grabs your stick. And i have also subscribed to this channel as well and i have also shared this video on X for you too.
I really appreciate everything you’ve done to support us over the years. It means a lot to me! I hope you have an excellent weekend, my friend!
@@kombativ_com Thank you i have been following you guys on Karate mart for a long time now and i didn´t know you had this channel as well but i really like this one as well.
✌️😎 Alright just in time!
Thanks so much for all your support, Abraham! It means a lot to me!
Very true, Robert! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
My mom had something like that in her nightstand, but it vibrated!
Thanks so much for watching!
Of the things you showed. I would only be interested in the Walking stick/war hammer. But even that has its limitations. Because you need room to swing it, for the full effect.
Very true! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I don't know if it's just because it's Kyle and Amanda again, but I've definitely been enjoying the KOMBAIVS videos a lot more here lately.
That’s so kind of you to say! You made my day! I really appreciate that! I’m having a lot of fun making the videos again. Thanks so much for all your support! It means a lot to me!
Owning any of these, let alone carrying them in public, would get you five years in jail here in the UK.
The laws are so strict in the UK! Thanks so much for watching!
Thats why you guys are so much smarter sincerely, vengeance is the lords . America is on its way down with the election of a felon ,Pray for us because that idiot is just going to make things worse!
Is the arrow pistol air powered, and what is the range.
Thanks
That is some really excellent advice that clearly comes with experience. Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Walking sticks & umbrellas thanks
Awesome! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Pocket Chain Dart sounds cool.
It’s extremely cool, Mac! I think you’ll like it!
The chain weapon is lethal .
The War Hammer walking stick would be very punishing
Absolutely, Dwayne! Thanks so much for watching my video! I really appreciate it!
Next time i get attacked by a watermelon, I'll pull out that chain weapon and really show my reverse Uno card.
Exactly! Never underestimate a watermelon! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
How did This wonderful channel come up. Far too long. Great channel.😁👍👍👍
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I hope you are having an excellent week!
I love the cane!
Thanks Steve! I hope you are having a wonderful week!
Can I get any of these shipped to the uk?
Unfortunately, we only ship within the United States. Thanks so much for watching!
Your voice was cracking bad before Amanda got you with the stun gun. Nice job😂
Getting stunned is definitely nerve-racking. I hope you have an awesome week!
That little hand axe over his left shoulder looks interesting what steel is it made of?
Thank you! If it’s the one I think you are talking about, it’s a 1095 carbon steel. Thanks so much for watching!
I hope you all had a great weekend and it was safe
Thanks Jason! I hope you did as well, my brother!
The chain weapon. BTW, do you have a defensive belt that can be deployed instantly while doing specific damage?
Excellent choice! Yes, we do have a couple of those types of belts on www.Kombativ.com. Thanks so much for watching!
Walking stick was good, liked the knife
Thanks so much, Daniel! I hope you are having an excellent weekend!
love the warhammer it is similar to my Reaper spear.
Thanks Roger! I hope you are having an excellent week!
Is there anything wheelchair compatible? I was knocked out of my wheelchair a few years ago and ended up with 3 broken ribs and 14 lacerations...
That’s a great question! I have a number of friends who use wheelchairs and are incredible martial artists. So, really any weapon you are able to utilize with your hands should work. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I like the cane very nice
I have a zapper cane I'm using now it's nice 😊
From Vancouver WA saying hello
That’s awesome, Larry! Thanks so much for watching from Vancouver! That really means a lot to me!
Walking Stick 👌👌👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Excellent choice! Thanks so much for watching!
do they come in those cases
No, unfortunately not. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I was half expecting one of those cases to contain the confetti bomb 😂
Omg! That would be hilarious!😂
@@kombativ_com well it's never too late 😂
When will the Warhammer stick be back in stock?
We will hopefully have more available soon. They sold out quick! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I just found your channel. And I’m gonna be honest wherever Amanda is that’s where I’m going to be viewing.
Sounds good! She’s primarily on the KarateMart UA-cam channel, so you might want to check that channel out. Thanks so much for watching!
This is very similar weapon when deployed like a Kusari fundo very well known weapon in classical Japanese chain weapon
Exactly! They are definitely very similar weapons. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Got any bladed canes?
Yes, we do! They are available on www.Kombativ.com. Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks so much for watching!
that last one is the best
Thank you! I hope you are having an excellent weekend!
Dark Tanto, I want one.
It is pretty awesome!
War Hammer Walking Stick! ... is the W/H walking stick TSA authorized?
I honestly couldn’t tell you, Mike, but I wouldn’t suggest bringing it on a plane. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I like the Warhammer walking cane
Awesome, Michael! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
The cane... nice.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
Wow, I use a cane. i would live to walk with this every day.
Awesome! Thanks so much for all your support! It means a lot to me. I hope you have an excellent weekend!
✓ Thanks for the video, your presentation is always awesome 🔥♥️🔥
I love the Pocket Chain Dark, you have a kind of "surprise in the stick"🎉
✓ Do you know when the international shipping (in France for my case) will be available for your weapons ⁉️
I have a lot of self defense weapons to buy 🛡️⛓️🗡️
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! Unfortunately, at this point we don’t have any plans on international shipping again. It became so time consuming keeping track of the various laws in each Country and we were losing tons of packages. Maybe one day, there will be a better system in place to do it. I’m really sorry about that. Thank you so much for watching, though.
I like the chain one
Awesome! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Will they allow the cane through TSA for travelling handicapped ♿️ Senior?
That’s a great question, Steve. I honestly don’t know, but I personally wouldn’t try it. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Pocket Chain Dart…Scorpion approves this weapon!
