This video was a breath of fresh air - paced exactly as I need. So many of the other videos are long, distracted and overly wordy with lots of "asides". I'd bet $5 you organized your thoughts in writing before filming, and you stuck to your notes. Thank you!
Thank you! Glad to be able to help. So, I actually don’t write down anything at all! I film everything first, then record the voiceover one sentence at a time as I edit. It’s a long, slow process, but helps me keep the edit condensed as well as making sure I’m using the correct terminology for everything.
Really concise guide. Can't believe you don't have more upvotes. You stay right on subject with no fluff. Not sure if this is the fix I need yet. Bit more troubleshooting, but I suspect regulator because there's power but it won't budge with either switch/button. Thanks.
I cut the cable and the window still wouldn’t go down. After an hour more of trying to figure out why, I jiggled it around a bit and it finally git past the point it was getting stuck at. I think it was getting stuck somewhere in the rubber track. I probably shouldn’t have removed the four regulator screws before cutting the regulator/motor cable because the window track couldn’t track straight after I removed those screws.
So you ended up removing all 7 bolts before cutting the upper cable? The 4 bolts on the regulator track are definitely helpful to keep everything aligned before lowering the glass!
