Love your videos. Have a 93 accord ex with 500k on her. Been slowly rebuilding it. Someone busted out my passenger side window so now replacing both regulators and pass motor. These videos have been VERY useful. Keep it up!!!
Just bought a 92 LX. Interior great and runs great. 280,000 miles. Drivers window went off track this week and here to find the fix. The regulator seems to work fine, will find out why it disconnected from glass.
Notes: Tape the window in place with two straps of tape over the top of the window frame before unbolting regulator. (prevents the glass from falling) Second: the door lever assembly gets removed from the door card by prying at the front, while pushing from the rear on both top and bottom between the edge of the card and the lever assembly. (there are two clips top and bottom than push forward to release) These clips were apparently previously broken off on Winstons car. (and on mine now too) The plastic is very brittle, so they may break anyway. But it is worth a try.
Five stars. Just used this to guide me through pulling mine out. I did take it a little further and replaced the plastic gear at the head of the motor that pushes regulator. Mine was stripped and would stop once it meet that flat spot. Good to go again!
Man bro, good video. As lots of people said, mines doing it as well. Buddy of mine said it was the weather strip causing it to go shooting off. Mine rolls up and out past the rubber at the top. Unfortunately all my window regulators are gonna need replaced on my 93. Thanks for a great video!!!

I am not sure if you still reply to comments, but my driver side window refuses to move at all. I am unsure if it needs grease or the motor blown out, but I love how well everything is explain in your videos and it is aways good to see someone else who enjoy cb7 also
Jose Escobar If it refuses to move completely, check your other windows to see if they move. If they dont, check fuses. If they do, you have a bad regulator or motor
After I failed to install it on my own..93 accord lx.. look around for some help. Those white clips on the window. came off as I took the glass off (carefully). went to get some 3m sealant to place it back on.. By the time it dried up......... it got dark.... day 2 (4-17-20)......i hit the sub button.

Mine do the same brother like he said make sure they stay in the correct area and that the motor itself is connected and moving the part that holds the glass. I’ll be replacing the whole motor and guide as motor moves but it doesn’t move glass because the guide attached to the motor isn’t moving
Great video i just picked up a 93 ex 5speed with 139,000 original miles and the window regulators are bad on the back and this video definitely makes it look stupid simple. Side note the brakes on this car is some straight BS. Lmao
this cleared up a question ive had about my 92 accord lx sedan! XD mine is doing the same exact thing on the driver side window and i thought it was the seal but it looked fine? i was so confused but this cleared it up. THANK YOU!!!!!

My window is completely seized. Wont roll up or down. The switch is good, I can tell because I can feel the effect it has on the system with I push it, and occasionally the regulator will make a grinding sound. I'm sure the motor is fried / gear is stripped. Any suggestions?
hey Winston! i have a 93, my drivers window was working but would roll up off track leaving a gap. it eventually stopped working and when i press the switch it makes a single click noise. my rear passenger side started to make popping noises when rolling it up. it gave out leaving a crack & it occasionally moves a pinch when i go to roll it up or down. the glass is wobbly now though. is it the regulator & motor ?

Cool, the front windows barely go down. Back ones work enough for now. Just replaced starter and alternator. Gonna do the window regulators next. But thanks for the answer and digging your cb7. Hope to see more vids

@@winstonbuzon Yeah the motor seems fine as far as rolling the window up and down. The window just doesn't go up straight and leaves that gap like yours. Just trying to make sure I don't need to replace the motor before taking the door apart if you get my drift lol.
There's no new ones. All regulators are at the junkyards, coming off the cars that have them. So every time they break, got to go to junkyards for replacement. Plus, it's a lot of work trying to fix the old ones anyway
H23A just has a slightly bigger displacement and HP to Torque Ratio are closer. I used my stock Tranny and it fits well. I don't know if a GSR tranny will be needed

I just sanded off as much as I could just so the surface doesn't have too much residual glue before I applied the new glue
