Jim, thank you so much for creating this beautiful bowl for the Canadian Occupation Therapy Foundation. The proceeds of the Auction bowl will go directly to fund Occupational Therapy and Science Research. It’s been a few years now that you have been doing this for us. We rely on people like you and it’s truly appreciated. Thank you my friend.

LOVE the eyeball on the bottom! The island is cool! I appreciate ghosted resin close to the islands because it looks like the shallows. The figuring in that wood is stunning! The green and yellow is a great background for the burl archipelago

This is not the first time I have watched this particular video. I love green and the gold with it, is stunning. I so enjoy watching the end product taking shape.
One of my uncles did wood-turning and also custom made furniture. I am now 75 years old and I still vividly remember his workshop with the wood and tools, and the wonderful smell of the wood and the shavings on the floor. It was bliss for me in my childhood years.

wow, the green and gold combined are so good together it almost looks like the bowl is glowing neon, and the pearlescent effect is particularly strong on this one. you get these silvery wisps in places when it catches the light just right and adds a whole new layer of interest.
i’d love to see you take on another all resin project again one day!

You continue to amaze me. I hold you guilty for costing me money cause I am having to upgrade my equipment. My wife doesn't like the costs but she wants me to try doing what you are doing. Keep these videos comin. They are truly inspiring. Well done my friend!

When you first showed the bottom edge with "eye," that is exactly what I thought! And at the very beginning, when you were about to cut the piece on the band saw, there was what looked like a monster face! I'm surprised no one mentioned, (that I've seen). Another beautiful piece.

Hi Jim the charity bowl is magnificent and unique the goldvand green resin looks amazing, the wood has lovely grain and markings. You are a fabulous woodturner and you always make brilliant bowls and things. All the best at the charity event hope the person who bids for it loves it and uses it. Thanks for an excellent video, take care of yourself from Amanda xx

I thought that looked like an eyeball as well. It even looked like it had been intentionally done because it looks so good. Sometimes you just get happy surprises....a la Bob Ross :D It really is amazing how much epoxies in general are saving so much wood.

Beautiful work, as always! The colours of the designer epoxy look so good in this piece, love how it looks like islands in a swirling green and gold ocean. Can't wait to see what you do next.
