A very nice project which I intend to follow by making some Christmas gifts. I particularly like the detailed use of the skew which I've yet to try using. Thanks very much for the detailed explanation and the great video.
I really enjoy your videos and I've learned a lot from them. I'm not afraid of the skew any longer! What did you use to de-clog your sanding drum? From Scotland.
В моем детстве любой мальчишка запросто делал свистки из куска липовой ветки. Для изменения тона свистка с обратной стороны должен располагаться двигающийся поршень! Удачи! In my childhood, any boy could easily make whistles out of a piece of lime twig. To change the tone of the whistle, a moving piston must be located on the back side! Good luck!
Thanks for the video! I´m going to make a couple of these for my granddaughters.

Thanks Tomislav for the idea for my market in December 😊❤
Very Nice 🤙
Cool - nice project. Just for kids or is it more like a duck call?
Lovely whistle - thank you. If you drill a smaller hole does the pitch change?
Pitch depends on the chamber length to a large extent, longer is deeper tone
Old guitar strings make good wire burners. You even get a (limited) choice of wire widths!

Very nice! .. however, that was not a sharp flat work chisel! :)
Sharp enough, its quickly sharpen just to do this little thing😀
Wait, what? Lathes can be used for things other than bowls?
