Nice discussion. Just to add a point to iMT and to all types of automatic gears systems is that the Car Engine will never get switched off in any automatic variant which is the biggest problem solver in heavy city traffic. So whenever, in iMT, driver has switched to a higher gear but the vehicle needs more power which is available at a lower gear, the vehicle will give you multiple beeps indicating that you need to shift down a gear.

In amt or IMT or any automatic gears you can put to neutral and change to drive in traffic.. If you put in drive and hold break, the break pads will wear out soon..
@darshansamale5325 IMT might not perform like Manual Transmission.. But I doubt you might feel jerks in the performance
@@darshansamale5325 car depends on your perspective and where you drive the most.. Regarding Amt IMT & CVT.. If the driver is comfortable with manual CVT, if he doesn't want to use the clutch IMT else AMT..
But if you purchase IMT there's a cost more in IMT clutch repair.. AMT mileage is not more but doesn't cost more in service..

(1) For mileage best automatic is AMT Because it's like manuel .., actuator makes this different transmission & sometimes it's provide better mileage than manual...!!
(2) Every DCT transmission do not have heating issue only dry clutch DCT face this issue but Wet clutch DCT don't occur same scenario...
But it's quite expensive as well..!

what if we use AMT like imt, as IMT cars are costly than AMT. I mean driving AMT in manual mode.
As per chat gpt the best is cvt for middle segment for all weather with mileage and low maintenance and proven tech. It’s of course costly than MT. I did not find any rubber effect. Technically torque converter tech is heavy and reliable but maintenance is costly normally it’s good for 2.0 litres engines. Comment.

I need some advice. Am planning to but carens luxury plus manual but now manual is discontinued. Now I have only the options of either IMT or DCT., but DCT is costing one lakh more. So which should be my choice. Most of my driving will be on highways.
Buy CVT of any Honda
@@sadhanadeshpande3074 Appreciate your advice, but I have already bought kia carens luxury plus imt diesel and have done around 5500 kms on it and as of now I have nothing to regret the decision, fingers crossed that it remains that way. Getting almost 19kmpl on highways and imt till now is very easy and fun to live with, especially in the office hours traffic.

Further, I would request you to post a detailed video on GPS Navigation as to how it is set up for use in present time Cars.
Why I am asking it because Maruti says there is always a need of mobile being connected the Infotainment System for GPS Navigation. Whereas in my 2015 Model i20 Asta(O), there was Built-in MAP and there was no need of any Mobile Phone at all for using GPS Navigation in that.
Even, Hyundai is providing the same Built-in MAP functionality in there Top Variant Cars which have GPS Navigation without mobile being connected.
See, as I understand, using Android Auto or Apple Car Play function is entirely different than using GPS Navigation. The purpose of Android Auto/Apple Car Play is just to use the Mobile entertainment functions and its Calling functionality.
