PCV Valve Replacement Chevy Impala 2013 | Stop Oil Consumption

I honestly don't know, but drilling the holes larger sounds like a bad idea. Must be a reason for the size ?

So you have to buy two different parts for front and back. I was looking for 2018 impala. Same like the 2013.

@@gurbina1 The one on the back is the PCV valve. It has different sizes of holes to regulate the crankcase pressure. The one in the front is a small pipe, it used to direct the flow from the crank case to the intake tube. Hope that makes sense

@ yeah so I’ve been looking and the only part that I can find is for the front. Is 2018 model different when it comes to pcv valve replacement

Was there a new part number for the pcv valve where the holes are bigger?

Top hole, you drill out to 7/64, and the 2 bottom holes you drill out to 5/64, so that doesn't happen anymore.

Very good video. I'll subscribe. I just bought a 2013 buick lacrosse with low miles and am looking to make it function as best as possible. This is one of the big things that has come up. Is your engine also the LFX? since it is a 2013? I called my local dealer to get the part number but unfortunately they only sell the whole assembly. When I cross reference the part number you provide in the video 12583384, parts websites say it is not compatible, but it looks just like the one I need lol. Thanks for your time sir!
