Fantastic thanks for this ! Your link doesn't seem to work but the program is still available here and works on windows 8.1 www.posteriza.com/www.posteriza.com/es/index96c1.html?option=content&task=view&id=5&lang=en_US
Man thank you for this tutorial, I followed along doing the adjustments on my own computer after downloading this program, came out flawless!!! Much appreciated sir!
thepoultrypeople I have a few pics downloaded but I also have a bunch of my own artwork that I’d like to try to router out on some wood. Been contemplating purchasing a plasma/router combo table but I think I’ll try the old school way first, looks like fun, hope I have a steady hand! Ha! Maybe a double scotch will steady the hands? 👍
Downloaded it.. tested it.. results were awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this video and for including the link. I have tried other softwares but they didnt do exactly what I needed. liked and subbed.. thanks again man.
Impressive Bongo! You have mixed your fantastic creation with a long history of American icon. The Dodge brothers were auto-parts suppliers and progressed into "muscle cars" recently Dodge released the newest muscle car known as the demon. It has 800+ horsepower and is the fastest production car ever built. Thank you Sir
800 bhp! yeah, im guessing that does indeed come under the heading of Muscle car! Thank you for the information, i dont get to see many of them in this part of the world.
If you can find the image you want in a vector format (as opposed to raster/bitmapped) like .svg rather than .jpg or .gif, then you can blow it up w/o pixellation / jagged edges.
Thank you so much bongo for this project its a great help. Also thank you so much for the shout out really appreciated. Off to watch your next one now lol.
No problem, i put your channel in the description so hopefully you should get a bit of a boost from it, ill probably try out the pencil turning soon, have you thought of creating a vacuum vessel to make sure all the air is removes from around them or have you got that all sorted now?
Hi bongo i have a vacuum chamber but to small for this project and tbh i didnt vacuum any of the resin and it worked great but the resin was just used like glue and could have used a pressure chamber if i had one big enough but really not needed. Thank you bongo really enjoying your videos, thank you for sharing and thank you for the boost
That's a great little program. Many printers (like my HP laserjet), you can print over multiple pages by going into "properties" in the print dialogue. I prefer it to the program, but that's just my printer. Cheers!
A couple of other options: If you'r a Linux user (like me) there's PosteRazor (posterazor.sourceforge.net/) And Mathias Wandel wrote a program to do this: woodgears.ca/bigprint/ It's $22 Canadian dollars. Cheers.
Hey, I build and repair computers, among other things--if you upgrade to Win10 although it's very "too hip" looking and feeling at times, it uses up less resources so it makes your PC more efficient aka faster. Of course, I don't know if there are any programs you use that will not be compatible with win10, so you should check that before you consider, but if all of them will still work, you will notice a significant increase in productivity. :]
Just found your channel by accident. Im a happy chappy and excited to see so many videos to work through for guidance and inspiration. Were you aware you can also print large images using Excel? There may be less options than the software you currently use, but its handy to know. Subscribed! :-)
Thank you Steve, I wasnt aware of that but its handy to know for others. Apparently you can also use microsoft paint but again i havent investigated that. All the best mate.
I usually put the words 'silhouette' or 'vector' after the search term, also go to the tools part of google image search and change it to show large pictures, small ones blown up are blocky
btw: when you showed the 8 page silhouette, I envision a block game... you put the images on 8 turning blocks of wood where you have to turn each block to see what the picture reveals... does that make sense? :)
I don't know if it only happens to me ... When trying to make a poster, he never printed the program exactly! It was always min. 0.5 cm next to. So nothing much program
hi mate like what you dun with the work shop i have you'd this be for it a grate software for posters has helped me out lodes keep up the videos there grate
Im working on the dodge sign now, ive made the basic frame and glued it all up, im running cross the grain with 40grit to get rid of the big ridges and then with the grain until most of the deep scratches are gone, now i stick on the design, let it dry, rout it out, burn it, and then take an 80 grit to it to get rid of the paper, glue and work on a final bit of smoothing, for simple pallet projects this is more than enough, on a piece of oak or other decent wood, you might want to keep going
Did you get it sorted out? I havent come across this problem using posterizer. The only time ive come across this is when i tried to access certain user shortcuts to folders. Try moving the image into a new folder on your hard drive.
aaah thanks, i got confused, open source is the one where you get access to the programs written structure itself? probably in C? or C+? or has it moved on since my college days?
I used to do this years ago when I did bulletin boards. Remember that ink or toner, whatever system you use, isn't exactly free, but I see you mean don't have to go to a shop and pay to have things enlarged. : )
its all gone too high tech for me now bongo lol .u have a massive tv thingy in ur workshop .thanks for uploadin this tho mate now i can get the youngen to print my stuff out without her sayin she dont know how to do it
lol, got to have a massive monitor, theyre pennies these days, i watch a lot of netflix in there :) See if you can get a laser printer cheap, itll be cheaper than a regular inkjet to run
never to late to learn, anything you fancy having a go at? and of course the big issue is always space? have you got a covered corner where you can make dust?
Fantastic thanks for this ! Your link doesn't seem to work but the program is still available here and works on windows 8.1 www.posteriza.com/www.posteriza.com/es/index96c1.html?option=content&task=view&id=5&lang=en_US
Thats strange, ill update the description, thanks for sorting that out for me and everyone.
Nice one, Bongo! I'm putting it on Ian's machine and wondered what it does......and here you are !
Man thank you for this tutorial, I followed along doing the adjustments on my own computer after downloading this program, came out flawless!!!
Much appreciated sir!
No problem! Im glad you found it useful. What are you making?

I have been looking for a programme like this for ages, excellent, keep up the good work
Installed on my windows 10 laptop. So far it's working.
Excellent
Works on mine too
Whoa ! I can't wait to see the end result . So so excited I'll be waiting .😃 Thanks for showing us the program as well.

Downloaded it.. tested it.. results were awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this video and for including the link. I have tried other softwares but they didnt do exactly what I needed.

Thanks for sharing Sir. Needed this one
Excellent Pam and the rest of WWUK will love it.
thats good, i hadnt really thought about breaking it down like this and sort of took it for granted
If you can find the image you want in a vector format (as opposed to raster/bitmapped) like .svg rather than .jpg or .gif, then you can blow it up w/o pixellation / jagged edges.
Very informative vid. Nice remembrance of Mr. Raggles, thank you for that.
Mad that the software is so old and you get such a great end product, imagine what the pros have these days. Unreal. Nice one mate. Cheers Moose.
also shows you that it doesnt have to be bang up to date to be effective and stuff made decades ago work just as well
Thank you so much bongo for this project its a great help. Also thank you so much for the shout out really appreciated. Off to watch your next one now lol.

Wow , cool Bongo thanks for the video my friend ...
Exactly what I wanted, thanks!
Thanks for this. Will use it for routing signs and scroll saw patterns.
SImple and effective, i use it a lot.
works like a charm on my 11 year old PC ! :)
lol its a 12 year old program so its bang on target :)
Thanks for the demo!

Ill pin this to the top
Thanks for the tip!! Using it now

Wow great tip!!! Thanks alot
Awesome!!!
Great video Bongo. That's too old a program for my 8 year old desktop running Windows Vista.
got it running on this one using windows 10?
What did you type behind dodge ram? in google
I usually put the words 'silhouette' or 'vector' after the search term, also go to the tools part of google image search and change it to show large pictures, small ones blown up are blocky
I don't have a system that allows me to print, etc. but that was really interesting to see. Thanks Bongo.
btw: when you showed the 8 page silhouette, I envision a block game... you put the images on 8 turning blocks of wood where you have to turn each block to see what the picture reveals... does that make sense? :)
i like that idea!
I don't know if it only happens to me ... When trying to make a poster, he never printed the program exactly! It was always min. 0.5 cm next to. So nothing much program
Brilliant
Good to know....
hi mate like what you dun with the work shop i have you'd this be for it a grate software for posters has helped me out lodes keep up the videos there grate
No problem mate, glad youre having fun with it :)
How fine do you sand your wood before routing out? Thank you for the tip
Works on windows 10 as 0f 1/13/2019
it is saying access violation when I try to add am image. help please
Did you get it sorted out? I havent come across this problem using posterizer. The only time ive come across this is when i tried to access certain user shortcuts to folders. Try moving the image into a new folder on your hard drive.
thepoultrypeople i got it. Thanks
Thanks. Just one correction, whilst Posteriza is Freeware, sadly, it is NOT Open Source.
aaah thanks, i got confused, open source is the one where you get access to the programs written structure itself? probably in C? or C+? or has it moved on since my college days?
It could be java, c#, Python, or a myriad of other languages but your definition is close enough for me! :-)
just fyi, you can do the same in MS Paint x
Is that the one where you specify in the print settings? Ive got to try that out! Thanks.
Still works, windows 10....!!
Bongo is there an email I can contact you at?
yes, iwynnewoodhouse@gmail.com
Interesting, could use this to get some really ridiculous pictures in the background for videos 😂😂. Ima make a big print out of myself
lol get plenty of ink in bro, but yes all kinds of backgrounds
I used to do this years ago when I did bulletin boards. Remember that ink or toner, whatever system you use, isn't exactly free, but I see you mean don't have to go to a shop and pay to have things enlarged. : )

this year is the year i lear to do this stuff lol
