Somebody in Wyoming just found Ohtani's HR. Absolute Moonshot.

I haven't been this excited about the Dodgers since they got Ohtani. What an exciting and crazy game. That home run by Ohtani just landed a few minutes ago. Wow.

Teoscar non swing was a makeup for Will Smith no being given timeout so it evens out.😊

Another game that Miggy Ro gets a hit and they win haha. Undefeated. The announcers even joked about it.

With all of the complaining that we do it’s worth pointing out that the top offensive team in the NL is…the dodgers, both in runs scored and OPS. We’re also second in the NL in ERA. That’s with all the injuries and all those guys below replacement value.
My main concern all along is running into the DS challenge where no top 2 seed in the NL has won a series yet under this format. We’ll get another shot at breaking this though. If we can hit them with Glasnow Yamamoto and Stone in a 3 game series that isn’t going to make it easy at all on the other team to keep ths going.

Check swing, bat didn’t pass home plate imo, so no swing ✌🏼😬

The moment that liner bounced off Buehler’s backside I thought IL stint, diagnosis pain in the ass.
It seems that Bueller is open to the idea and when you see the player themselves saying a trip to thhe IL doesn’t seem like a bad idea that’s even more confirmation than a blown up ERA.
I’m thinking a month off to rest his ass and then trying him out in the pen as the most we should be doing with him this year. He can’t be hurting the team and is showing some real character in admitting he is and does not want to, maybe this way he can be at least some sort of asset or at least show he can be.

Also about Willy Mays; this may sound a bit insensitive but I don't see his passing as a tragedy really. I see it as a blessing to have lived so long that so many fans of the game got to hear him and see him for as long as they did. We can be sad to see him go, but he left behind a wonderful legacy that many of us enjoyed, even here in the Dodgers fanbase. Whenever a living legend like that lasts into their 90s, all I can ever say is "Wow, we were lucky."

Sorry I meant to say those 3 guys in a 5 game DL series although if we somehow end up a wild card team that’s the 3 we can throw out there. It’s the bats that are more of a concern here if we need to take a week off and the hitters don’t have the same timing as the ones in the other dugout who did not have to sit out..

It's tough to see Walker struggle so much--for any long term fan really. We know what he's done, how much effort he'd give and to see him struggle to get through 5 constantly just sucks. He had that ONE great outing and so many of us were like hoping it was turning the corner, but alas, it has not. I would love for him to come back and figure it out but the team is in "win now" mode and frankly, he's not winning now.

Yeah I bet he’s back from TJ but he’s had enough starts to figure it out. Something is just not clicking. Move him to the bullpen or trade him. We appreciate what he has done for us but he’s gonna cost us when it matters

walker was not just bad but awful he clearly ain't the same pitcher and should not be re-signed.

He is struggling, yes. But I will not give up on him. Everyone is crapping on him. I want to see how everyone talks about Kershaw when he comes back and he struggles. Talk to me then. I'm sure no one is gonna be crapping on "King Kershaw"
Like give Walker a break has not pitched in 2 damn years, 2 major elbow surgeries. And you're just gonna kick him while he is down (SMH) oh I can't wait for all the crap Bobby will get when he comes back.

The haters are fake fans. But there is a stark difference between Kersh and Walker and that's Kersh is a better pitcher. It's not to crap on Walker, but Kershaw is more of a finesse guy than Walker is. I also don't really expect Bobby to do well back yet either, but we'll see. Injuries are a bitch, and that's why I don't have much confidence; it's not the players.

I do like trades when they make sense and the cost is reasonable and I’m open to the idea of adding Mason Miller the price isn’t too crazy.
I read an article proposing such an idea, and while the writer was a real bonehead, saying how bad our pen is and that we don’t have a closer, not sure what Phillips needs to do in order to be considered to be this guy, Miller would be a great addition as another high leverage option.
As for the pen this year, for the record, you fool, Dodgers relievers have the best ERA in the NL and 2nd in MLB. Please look first before you stick your foot in your mouth please.
I’m not that hopeful about Miller though given that someone else will probably offer a bigger king’s ransom but I like the idea a lot.

The trade heads are of course clamoring for an OF and while even though we could use another good OF bat that’s not the problem.
The real problem of course is all those dead bats on the roster. We need to give Vargy a chance and it took Betts to go down to find a spot for him to do it again. Outie also may deserve another shot at some point, we don’t have enough room now for this let alone add someone so the bench spots will be taken up by guys who don’t belong in the big leagues right now and keep guys who very well might like Vargas down on the farm.
Platooning Vargas and Hayward makes a lot of sense right now with Teo in right and Andy in center provided Andy keeps doing at least decently.
The dodgers do trade at the deadline but it tends to be bargain basement guys like Gallo or Wong or Martin or Biggio this year. If we do add someone more noteworthy it can’t be to just block our good prospects like Vargas.

Amazing this show keeps wanting Dodgers grown players let go (Buehler, Lux, Vargas) for higher priced, older less talented trades. Let them heal from injury then they will flourish. The analysis of Buehler is really stupid. He just needs to get his pitch location back. The arm has healed, he knows what he is doing.
