- Los Angeles Dodgers vs Colorado Rockies 6/18/24
The team entered the top of the ninth down 5 runs with 3 outs left. The Dodgers loaded the bases with an Andy Pages walk, a Miguel Rojas base hit, and a Miguel Vargas walk. Setting the stage for Jason Heyward to pinch-hit and deliver a grand slam. The Dodgers are still down a run, and the Rockies switch their pitcher. With momentum on their side, Shohei Ohtani delivers a base hit, Will Smith gets rung up after trying to call time, and Freddie Freeman is intentionally walked. After the first base ump called a no-swing on Teoscar, Teoscar launched a go-ahead three-run home run to take the lead, giving the Dodgers the victory over the Rockies.
Good Dodger crowd at Coors Field and an Unbelievable win.

I stopped watching as well and went back to it thinking well it is Colorado and this team has the offense...
As a lifelong Dodgers fan with season tickets in Denver, I’ve learned to never EVER leave a game early at Coors Field. My absolute favorite ballpark in MLB! It truly is a special place!

Regardless, Hernandez may have went past and got the call but Smith got screwed for a huge out. All evens out.
We can see him saying time out we don't actually know how hard he was yelling, to step out before the blue acknowledges a time out is not ok.
Rockies crying about that call, but Dodgers got screwed on that earlier call on Will Smith.

Actually, they didn't. The rule is that once the pitcher has come set, time cannot be granted to a batter. The home plate umpire did get this one right. Close Call Sports has a video about the ejection that also covers this at bat as well.

Love Coors Field, went there a couple years back to see the Dodgers play there, great atmosphere, great fans, beautiful stadium and most of all great games with a lot of hits. I went for one game ended up going to all three games it's how much I enjoyed that ball park. Let's go Dodgers!

Errors by umpires gave that game to the Dodgers. They didn’t earn it! Believe me, the Rockies don’t need help losing games. But jeez! The umpires really screwed up that game.
