Thieves, scoundrels, intruders! My apologies my lord for my slip in diligence that led to the loss of the artifact axe stored in your hall. If I had been earlier to wake, I might have caught the thieves in the act! But I shall retrieve the axe that was stolen and find those who defiled the resting places of our revered past leaders. I haven't been able to track down a description of the thieves, I have been able to confirm it was a pair of ne'er do wells but an axe matching the description of the one stolen from the hall has been seen in the towns to the west. But the trek is slow going without a horse. So I am left with no other option but to chase down rumor and hearsay from the early rising farmers and other folk. These rumors have led me to the town of Velvetgazes near the coast. Where the artifact was rumored to be in the possession of a wild boar man who had cleared out a den of goblin criminals from the ruined temple of a local spider god nearby with the assistance of a friendly goblin. Such a dingy, dusty den of similar scoundrels and drunks. No wonder the thief fled here, for it is like searching for a piece of hay in a large haystack. Not long before I started this missive a goblin was murdered right on the tavern floor. I have had to hide my true allegiance to you, my lord, in my searching here because of this. But such patience was rewarded, the wild boar man's name is Mosus, and he is rather well regarded among these townsfolk. I'll be perfectly honest. The dialogue wore on me a bit this episode. It wasn't terrible or anything, but generally speaking, I prefer narration. I legit got chills when you said "Waterkeeper".
never stop making these videos their freaking great!
Seriously enjoying this! Always a fan of some good Adventure mode fun. I enjoyed the fade effects as Ac wandered around. It really helped the comedy in the moment. Can't wait to see the next episode!
MAN you make such amazing videos honestly you are just great i really wish you could put out more videos as they are so good and dam you for the cliff hanger but it's also so cool you are bringing waterkeeper into it XD keep up the amazing work :)
Thank you so much, E.S.R! I really wish i could do more too..it's kinda frustrating, really!
I'm excited to see where this goes too. Thanks for coming along!
I found you, via Reddit, like 3 weeks ago, and I've binge-watched all of your videos over the last few weeks (while playing DF on the other monitor, obviously) and you've brightened a bunch of my days! I've drawn a bunch of pictures of your and my forts and dorfs over the last week and I hadn't drawn anything in probably 7 years before that. Maybe I'll even like a future one enough to send it to you. Every Thursday I work a 12 hour day and now I have you look forward to after that. You're the fucking Rockstar!
Oh man I'm so excited to see you build up a single world with all these amazing stories!
PHENOMENAL JOB ON THIS EPISODE!
Fantastic! Krugg, I really enjoy the world you're building here. I'm hoping that Moses gets the chance to see his plans through and doesn't get shut down by DF's sadistic tendency to screw you over.
Oh my god!!! You are the smarted human to ever live. Two series in the same world!!!
I genuinely love every little interaction between the two. Really enjoyable to follow their little quest. Had to subscribe lol.
Hot damn, Kruggs! Everytime I watch one of your videos I think "Okay, he's peaked. There's no getting better then this". And yet time and time again, I am proven wrong. If I had the income to spare you'd have an extra Patreon supporter, but I'll have to be content with cheering from the sidelines for now. Keep up the good work!
Recently found your channel and I love the stories you tell with your fortress, I don't really even know how to play the game but I'm still enjoying the content, I really hope you continue making these!
... Those surround sound effects gave a vivid sense of relative location, and I simply adored all the smack talk between these two. c^:(<
Whatever shenanigans the duo is up to next, I hope they don't end up losing their heads, both metaphorically and literally.... >)':^]
