I can't help crying as I watch this video. My father died in March. I was only able to see him for about 5 minutes in person the last year of his life due to the pandemic and being a health care worker. I didn't want to put my parents at risk of getting covid. I just feel like I was cheated out precious time that could have been spent with him. Ahh! This last year, at my school (Great Oak) I sang this as a Tenor with my friend Roy. Him and I were the only tenors and I stuck by him and just tried to learn how to actually sing well... I tried my best, and I'm happy that I was able to spend the time with him that I had (He was a senior, and I a freshman, but now he's off to college, and I'm a sophomore now). Ahh! This last year, at my school (Great Oak) I sang this as a Tenor with my friend Roy. Him and I were the only tenors and I stuck by him and just tried to learn how to actually sing well... I tried my best, and I'm happy that I was able to spend the time with him that I had (He was a senior, and I a freshman, but now he's off to college, and I'm a sophomore now). Times like THIS is what keeps me going in life.. Just good old memories and good times, and looking back at them reminds myself that there are plenty more to come!
