Cutting glass is easy when you follow the 'rules': make one pass with the cutter only. You may want to wet the glass with mineral spirits first. Do not push too hard on the cutting wheel, you should hear it 'sing' while it cuts. To always ensure a clean break, just push on both sides of the cut at one edge of the glass panel only, never (!) push in the middle of the panel.
Use a reciprocating saw to cut the nails , that’s what I do and I keep the nail ends in the wood to make the projects more rustic also by using a saw you don’t lose as much wood from trying to break them apart
wac36 Austria, most companies hoard them like a treasure because they only get like for like here and they have to buy new ones if they don’t trade in their old ones, I’m told..
OOOOOOFf, rubbing stain into pallet wood with your bare hands. thats a real man right there! i wasn't convinced til the very end, but they turned out lovely. nice job dude!
Only make ONE pass with the glass cutter, then tap along the underside of the cut prior to breaking ... this avoids those incomplete cracks. 2 passes creates extra chips that causes those unwanted curved cracks.
Rinnovo i miei complimenti. Un abbraccio
Well done, nice project. Scoring glass twice usually ends in those non uniformed breaks, better to maintain a single score breaking from the edge you started from provided you've given a constant pressure which will give you the cleanest break.
Get yourself: wide, flat chisel, hammer, reciprocating saw, flat crowbar... Easiest way to dismantle a pallet. Use flat chisel to knock between where the nails are, clearing space for reciprocating saw, then just blast through all the nails ( using a multi purpose blade ) quick, fast, no mess, no fuss, well, still a bit of a mission. Thanks for the enjoyable content and all the best for 2020! ;)
Good idea. In my first attempt to peal the wood so stressful ... After seeing some video i got an idea only puncher and hammer to do it more easier. I managed to transform 1 pallet 3 level shoes rack in 30 minutes. I love this idea. Keep a good work man.
My grandparents had a frame shop. I was in the shop a lot the first part of my life. I use to make frames as a youngster. That’s probably why became a finish carpenter in my early 20s. A chip saw would be a wise investment. You did your miters the way I did them as a kid. 👍. Nice job on the project. Is there anything you don’t do 😂
So, First you counter sink the nails and split the wood (cracking several boards) then you pry them apart (splitting one in half) and then you push the nails back out (the opposite way you previously drove them deeper in). Is that really the best way?
Hello 👋 my Lovely 😊 very Good very nice 👍 your working and your video Beautiful I Love ❤️ you and I Love ❤️ your channel thanks so much my friend Goodbye 👋 next video 🌹❤️
Just watching the saw cutting at time 1:45 is therapeutic/zen. Love this video, straight and to the point. Very Nice!

They don't even need pictures in them, they look that good!!

great job I will make one too. Love staple idea of holding corners together. Impressed
I love these recycling pallet videos. 👍
I love the pictures especially!
Excellent video and process. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes I use Shellac as a finish. It is predictable and easy to maintain.
Jeeeez that is the NICEST pallet I have ever seen.
dakaraius I have to agree on that one.. they are hard to get where I live and extremely expensive..
Thomas Lohr where do you live? Here in UK, they are everywhere. Good condition too and mostly free.
@@wac36 Agreed. They are everywhere here in the UK and free. But they are never it that nice a condition.

DMonZ1988 I felt the thingis getting under my nails -.-
Tip for cutting glass, after scribing the top, try tapping with the handle of the cutter underneath at the ends of the cut before snapping off.

Double scoring also tends to nick up the cutter's wheel which causes skipping on future cuts
I was wincing when I saw him scoring twice!
I love salvaging materials from all over!! Great use of those pallets!! Definitely keeps project costs down!! Great work!
Black Beard, you are so talented. You can do anything. Nice job!
Thanks! Great project for a beginner like me. And I need a couple of nice picture frames like this.
Awesome pallet wooden frame !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cool I watched the entire video and it amazed me
Very nice. I like building out of pallet wood, but never thought about picture frames. They turned out great.
Those look very nice. Good job.
Wowww very beautiful 🥰❣💝💫
Really unusual techniques on frame making... I am down at the belt sander mitering... Very nice!
Great job 🤝
Excellent work sir
Sounds were satisfying! Great work!
So talented!
Very Nice Project My Friend👍
Nice work and smart way to get good 45 degree angles.
Very nice work mate , but surely you would use a simple mitre sled on your table saw ?
Good job man, I admire you, congratulations. Greetings from Culiacán, Sinaloa, México
Of course your business is crazy I enjoy watching😍👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice. I made similar frames from pallet wood myself this past summer.
Awesome job. Congrats! From Santo Domingo.
Great job)👍😉

Excellent work👍👍👍. Thanks for sharing. You pulled it off. I try to do it is ugly

Very cool and very easy! Great stuff as always!!

Interesting pallet destruction method. 😮
Great look 🖼
Most awaited from India 😃

Hi, I really like your channel because it really show that with some decent cheap tools (Parksides ones) and some skills, you can do awesome stuff!
Great hand saw 👏
Nice work 😍
A long time ago, I have been following you and love your work from Iraq😍❤️
Good job I like it
Nice video! If you use a sabre saw to cut the nails, the wood will come out nicely.
Hello 👋 my Lovely 😊 very Good very nice 👍 your working and your video Beautiful I Love ❤️ you and I Love ❤️ your channel thanks so much my friend Goodbye 👋 next video 🌹❤️
Awesome, dude
wohoo! the weekend can start! Paul Jackman would approve! 😁

Three rare photographs of polar bears in a snow storm. Nice!
sickan98 🐒 👍🏼
Good 1
You got me there...
I was like there's no polar bears... took me a bit.
😂
Nice work. I am planning to teach my photography class how to make their own frames and this will be compulsory viewing.
I like the pics you choose, very minimalist! :D Sei un grande!

Beautiful
Great job, the only complaint is the nails in the back, maybe a better solution for easier rear opening. Greeting
Thumbs all the way up 👏 on the fast forward look and sound
Great idea. Thanks from México.
I feel in love with your channel the day I first saw your Wallet DIY video.... great video. Thanks. You are an inspiration....
..looks great, nice work..
When cuting glass, score once, tap gently underside along the score, break should be clean all the way ;)
Is it better to hand saw the corners vs using a chop saw?
Loved the video, I would love to see more pallet ideas.
Beautiful! Could I do this without a nail gun? What size nails do you use?

GRACIAS POR EL VÍDEO Y APORTE, OTRA COSA QUE NO SABIA BUENA DECORACIÓN UN SALUDO.....
Very nice 👍🏼✌🏼🖖🏼
Nice. I've got a large mirror i want to reframe. This has given me enough information to give it a go.
Well done sir
Lubricating the scoring blade with a bit of kerosene might help things along.
Amei seu trabalho, simples e bonito. Parabéns!
great idea.
Reclaimed pallet furniture and home decor is the rage just now.
Amazing work brother.
He sure does things quickly
Thanks again!!! Nice frames.
Is there a reason you don't use a simple chop saw? would make so many of those cuts so much easier and cleaner.
These came out really well, we would love to make something like this ourselves :) We've been braking down pallets and it's no easy task. Nice work!
Well done!
I am working all the day with pallets 😉
I can really appreciate the carpentry that went into this. But it is just a build of picture frames made from scrapwood
Amigo cuando cortes vidrio utiliza lubricante para que te salga bien el corte
So cool😀
Why didn't you put a rebate in with the table saw? Far easier.
I see you finally found a use for that ice pick........ :)
Amazing
This is a great idea!
Eine sehr schöne arbeit
Yes! Yesss! That’s what all art museums needs! Something new, something you never seen in a museum before, something blaaaaaaank!
👁👁🤔👀😐😑_😂
Really nice job, thanks. Will any glass do, or is there a special kind. Also -- where do you purchase "bulk" glass like that?
Nice very much!
