Miss you! Where have you been?
Love the videos. Can't wait for an update.
Hi! Will there be an update soon? Thanks in advance.
Glad to see there is a Season 2. Really enjoy watching your progress. Very informative, and relaxing. Keep up the excellent work.
Pure beauty in planning bidge controls, super talented. Incredible results, requires right tools, patience not to rush.
Christmas feeling.
You sir, are amazing! I've watched from the start of your series, repeatedly. Many great ideas out to use. The precision and order with which you construct your layout even have my wife entranced. Speaking of which, my wife and I have a running bet that you're some kind of engineer, architect, draftsman, etc. You may have answered already in another post.
Stunning layout! Thanks for sharing! Keep up the good work!
I don't look at the expensive part, that's his business, big budget or small he is great at it, lots of passion.
Amazing work. Thank you for taking the time to film and explain this to us; it is very impressive and a great technique to keep in mind for any tight spots on my future layout. Take care!
hopefully things are well, looking forward to the next episode
Model railroading and Formula 1 in the same video, you've covered 2 of my main interests! (Go Max!)
6 months without an update. Getting worried about you. Show us a sign you’re OK!😕
I am in awe when I consider the amount of planning that goes into a unique project like this. You had to think about every step and then implement them in the correct sequence. To forget one detail might involve dismantling many hours of work.
Always enjoy the progress videos on your model railroad. Great stuff. Thanks.
Mad Skills.
Post more of these please I love these ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have no knowledge about what I just watched. I just know that I like it.
I was so excited to see this video come up. Great job as always!!! Gary
Another cracking video, thanks for sharing, I've been looking forward to it ever since the last one! The point rodding is a fabulous piece of work. I am looking at a similar issue on a layout and this has given me some ideas. Like the travelogue too!
As a scale model boat builder for over 20 years and having great knowledge of all the R/C model parts, I love how you integrate the R/C servos and pushrod system into your track layout. I have been watching this layout progress over time and love what you have done.. I used to run model trains when I was much younger and now am getting the itch once again. You have a great looking layout and I look forward to seeing how this track progresses.
I checked weekly, for 4 months!!!! Waiting for your next video. You never disappoint!!!! Your work is INSANE!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!!
Great video - as much as I love the train stuff, the servo control planning and execution was really fascinating to watch. Was not surprised when you showed one of your electrical nodes how well laid out and meticulous it was! Looking forward to more videos, subscribed, thanks!
So agree with this comment/feedback. A fellow engineer here, embedded software & electronics, and.I love this stuff.
For me as a swiss guy it is so interesting to see the difference between european and american scale-railroading. Whilst you have big boxes for one single loco and single decoders for pretty much everything. On the other side of the atlantic you either have a get n' go layout, you buy all the different components for one system from one company or you have to do it yourself. Of course also a nice video
Keep up the great work
Greetings from Switzerland
Philipp
Nice progress and I like the servo solution! Great shots from Austin as well! 😎
Great update the bridge looks great and the hand made tracks look really good and well thought out way changing the points 😀👍
Very cool, this layout is turning out amazing. I just wish I had a quarter of this kind of space to build a layout
We need a layout update, please 😊
Great video! Lots of technical jargon but amazing results as always!
Somehow I missed everything after season 1 until now. I'm so excited to binge all of this now. Truly inspiring work.
Wow! Just Wow! Great job.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing. How does anyone have the time to do this? It’s one guy doing the work of a club, and makes it seem like a few hours on the weekend with all his other stuff going on. It would take me several lifetimes to get to this stage, without any distractions! I’m in awe.
great series and ideas. Thanks, Andy K
the man really brings the choo choo - he got game
Another great video. Really enjoying following this process.
20:27 - That's a hell of a varnish consist!!
Wow ‼️ amazing ❗ very huge project and presentation 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
$2,500 for that new locomotive. Wow. The workmanship is unbelievably amazing.👍🇨🇦
insane undertaking
Nice Aches on that bridge. 👌
wow lots of work and well worth if , awesome job
congratulations, amazing layout
Ingenious way to control the switches. I was thinking of like old school yard switch house to hide the servos so I cant wait to see what's in store for these.
thank you for making these videos, they are really inspiring for me as a rookie modelrailroader. I go with the standard European H0 and scandinavian models, but the american steamlocos are a beautiful breed to behold. best of luck with the rest of the project.
Pretty amazing life you have! Have an amazing day! And thank you for the cool cool videos!
Amazing!
I hope you are ok. It is getting quiet on this channel.
Remarkable, I've never seen anything mechanical/sturctural/electrical described this easily. However, this is posted as S2; E1 on my birthday no less (11/15/2021,) that's been 5 months gone by! Are you still working on this and when can we expect a S2: E2 update??? Wish I had the time and talent and money to do something like this. BRAVO! Sir! OH! I sub'd Yesterday. ;)
Your layout is going to be gorgeous when completed
@@rcgrabbag kind of you to share your journey with the rest of us, especially us without any space to setup one of our own
Fabulous skills
Hope you own a bank!
Looking forward to building my next layout in The Philippines. The children out there will be blown away. My layout will be intergrated into my restaurant and I am sure it will be a hot spot to come and eat and watch the trains.
I cannot imagine how nice it must be to be rich when building a railroad. It's almost insulting to watch but I still admire the video.
Sure hope you keep posting videos.
What a treat this channel is! Just incredible. Will the lay out be open to the public or is this a private passion project? Either way, thank you for sharing your skills and time .
Unbelievable... You understand 99% of us don't know what you're doing. However, I enjoy watching the videos all the same.
Awesome
Excellent work. Now if someone can figure out how to add one of those "Shaker" speakers to the system so that when the train goes by, you can FEEL the vibration as well as hear the sound effects.
At Disney's Epcot, in one of the shows, they transmit a certain frequency that vibrates your chest bones in such a way that the effect is to induce tears in your eyes. Cool stuff.
I'm so freaking envious of you, my friend. l love bridges and this has always been my... to build a track solely built from bridges or bridge. I can see that space of yours, but all one big bridge. 'The Bridge of Sighs.' -Robin Trower Love what you're doing!
Just thought I'd check on you since you haven't posted anything in 8 months. Hope you and yours are well.
That was a good F1 race.
Sheer genius !! That’s what I think looking at the way you create and work, envious of your knowledge and insigth !!!
The way you dealt with the servoetc.. on the bridge… absolutely brilliant.. you have a job at Nasa..?
I wonder…. Is therea drawing of your layout, including sizes…etc..
The last video’s : Happy to see you were at the fo4 ula 1 ‘ s circuit of the america’s, he is the best… our Max Verstappen in his RedBull…isn’t he…!
Anyway anxiously looking ford to your next episode of genius and learning!
Take care and staysafe!
Ciao

Reminds me of the old track switches in the UK. Metal rods would run from signal boxes along track to points (and wires for signals)
I wonder if anyone has replicated above-surface rods for points.
Way back around the 1960's, I used wires and bell cranks to control my turnouts. They were easy to construct, and they worked well. My new layout uses Marklin M-track controlled by solenoids. I could use bell cranks and wires on manual turnouts.
Fantastic work. The scale of the bridge is breathtaking, and your solution to the point control is very elegant and neatly executed. Did you construct the bridge yourself too?
I did not construct the bridge. In face, the one area I'm receiving significant help is with the structures.
Must be everybody's dream modelling without a budget
Obviously this guy has unlimited amounts of money to spend on his hobby. I can only dream of having anything a fraction of what he's got. But if he has it all then I'm glad for him.
Super video🍻👍🙂😍💓
super čokoláda💓😍🙂👍🍻
Love watching your video’s as you build your layout. When will you post a new update video?
I think i would just use a very long stick with a hook in it...lots of fine work there and hope you enjoyed the Grand Prix, although the wrong man won...ha-ha

Nothing like solving an intricate problem, even when it is self imposed. Quite a nice solution on such an amazing layout. Thanks for sharing your layout and your vacation. That was a great race, have you been to a NASCAR or IMSA race? Im already looking forward to your next update.
Thanks for watching! I have been to Daytona once watching a few races one day, but that's about it. For F1 I've been to the Montreal Grand Prix a couple of times and now Austin.
How's your layout doing.
I just have to subscribe. The scale of everything is so...... I just like to watch.
Great videos-Any idea as to next video? Thanks
Sad how hard it is to hear the car is over the crowd. They really Juice It Up for the TV audience. Nothing like it used to be though.
Not Jealous of the AS-9 at all :) and the F1 in texas, can't beet that
According to his Instagram account, there will be an update shortly. Let's hope so... We've been waiting a very long time.
peanut butter and jealous. how much does a laser cutter of that quality cost? is that a new mac book pro? What do you do professionally rcgrabbag? i need a new day job.
Probably retried. No way he could make that much progress plus work 40+ hours a week 🤔
With his attention to detail in the benchwork and electronics im thinking he's got a background in architecture or engineering
@@TheSteelRoad I think whatever this guy touches turns to gold. Multi-talented for sure.
RC aircraft pushrods from remote ....well, you just mentioned this ....

Wow I started watching this and saw that the first episode was uploaded a few years ago so I figured the series would be done by now but I GUESS NOT LOL@
Can’t wait for the next installment!
