I was accused of sexual harassment and I got to that point. It changes you as a person. I don’t like being touched or touching other people of my opposite sex anymore.
I know, I got accused of calling a black person a you know what, and being a white male that didn't look too good. My name got cleared lol.
Had a GF who master at this. Convinced me couple of times I did something wrong and made me even apologize for it. Until i had witnesses to our fight and learned its not my bad memory but its she making it up.

If I thought my life was gonna end, and I knew the class that did it to me, let’s just say the thought would go through anyone’s head.
It makes sense if you think about it. When kids are bullied relentlessly, they go to their teachers, their superiors. What do they hear? "You're taking it too seriously." "Just ignore them." "Maybe you just need to walk away.". Then they go hand to their parents and vent. What do the parents say? "Try to forgive him." "Maybe you did something to antagonize them." "Maybe you need to reflect on *your* actions."
When the whole world's against you, what do you have to lose?

I forgot to add in the apology letter that the teacher wrote he NEVER said specifically what he was sorry for, it was almost like he didn't want to admit he was in the wrong.

I’m sorry you went through this, and I can actually relate to this incident in a similar way, though there were some differences. For instance mine took place in my 9th grade year, one of my good friends was also accused, we were talking about video games instead of “spicy memes”, no one confronted us for like a week after the initial accusation, we weren’t suspended/expelled during their investigation, our parents knew we wouldn’t do it and actually threatened to sue to accusers and their families, and the accusers posted everything to social media so everyone in the school knew. Over all though it was a pretty weird experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone, though as awful as it sounds it’s oddly nice to know that I can relate to someone on this.
Anyone I hope you’re doing alright now, and you’ve been able to move past this.

I’ve literally been in the exact same situation and gone through the same thing. He’s right about the feeling of everyone being against you, it’s completely bewildering and you don’t ever forget it. Being looked at as the enemy by all the students and teachers is a heinous experience. Even had a teacher straight up call me a terrorist

I was literally so bullied, that a bunch of kids did a bunch of joke "vote for this kid to be most likely to X thing" And I was the only person nominated for "Kid most likely to come to school with a trench coat and a shotgun."
The sad part is, these kids KNOW bullying can lead to school shootings, and it still keeps fucking happening.

They had multiple people accusing me, It was up to the original (persons) to fess up it was a lie. The faculty did ok ish for the circumstances. I don't think they ever experienced something like this.
To be fair, if they get it wrong, and let him go, of he really did say such a thing, they could potentially be putting hundreds of students lives at risk. You're only sympathizing with the victim, but try to see it from the adults' perspective too. They are TERRIFIED. The threat of mass murder in a school is likely the scariest thing to a teacher. They want to make sure they miss nothing.

It's really hard when you don't know the truth and seemingly the entire world is bent on saying what they think is the truth.
But that's why his mom was crying so much, because she probably didn't want to believe it at all. But with everyone saying it was true and the 'fake evidence' they had that wasn't even solid evidence, just some asshole's word saying he did it, she doubted if she could believe her son and that's what tore her so much.

Same kinda stuff happened to me when I was randomly accused of selling cocaine by a kid that didn’t like me. Parents sold me out so fast telling the cops who I hung with, how they knew I was a bad kid blah blah blah.. I was completely innocent, never even had seen that drug. Some people’s parents aren’t involved in their kids lives. That’s how this stuff happens.
The evidence was stacked against him. If I have a child and God forbid this ever happens to them I'd believe them but I can't blame his parents

A while ago my friend had a paintball gun that looks like an m16, and one day on our discord server which has a lot of dark jokes on it we were talking and my friend in his infinite wisdom posted a picture of his paintball gun without the hopper and said, don’t come to school tomorrow, and of course all of us knew it was a joke. But you know one person didn’t so he told his parent who called the cops and told one of his friends who then posted on his snap story that my friend was gonna shoot up our school. So two cops came to my friends house and he was suspended for the rest of the year which was pretty sucky because he had literally just moved to our town and was already socially outcasted because of that.

I was once accused of vandalizing a government building, and I also questioned if I actually did it, even though I knew I didn't. And when the principal then came 3 days later to say that it wasn't me, but somebody else who's not even from my school. But the worst part of it all is that I had been crying for so long because I knew it would have consequences if it turned out to be me, but when the teacher told me that it was someone else, he just kinda left the room. But my classmates called him back and asked him to give me an apology, in which he responded "no, why should he get that." My jaw just dropped to the floor in disappointment. Then I went home and I have never liked that person ever since. This was 3 years ago when i was in 9th grade.

I feel so bad for this dude. All he wanted was friends and look what happened to him. As a kid I was also very quiet. I was heavily bullied to the point where I ended up suffering from heavy trauma. And all I wanted there, was someone who would listen. I just really related to some of the things this guy said. Hope he’s doing good now.

That said the entire situation isn't unique, unfortunately. Schools will let almost anyone be demonized by the student body, but they best not dare to react or they are attacked in addition to being bullied.

similar story here, keep in mind i went to 2 high schools
when i was in school i hated my teachers for being rude and demanding too much out of students, we were all forced to take jrotc as it was a military themed school and we were given so much work that we HAD to carry 2-3 text books EVERY DAY.
i hated that on top of so much work and rudeness, the bus would show up late to the stop then at the end of the day the bus would show up late to the school and sometimes it would take a longer time to get back to the bus stop home.
i was fed up with this so i asked my mom to switch schools, of course she was against it as it was a magnet program which really just means more work for no reason. i decided alright enough is enough and stopped doing any work and only did end of course tests. of course i passed them as school wasnt hard just annoying and unreasonably rude.
fast forward a year i get kicked out and now im in "public" school.
so many people in the halls that im late to every class and what makes that bad for me is that all my classes are across the building with about 2-3 thousand students everywhere. This is seen as a red flag by other students. the second red flag for them was that i always had a hoodie and some ear buds in. obviously im vibing and doing my work, my teachers were all really nice and i made an effort to show that i was respectful but i was also friendly and joked around a lot but ALWAYS did my work before taking a nap or playing on my nintendo ds. my teachers were cool with it because i never bothered anyone or made noise or anything they knew i just did my work and then kicked back vibing alone. a few students that got grouped up with me realized quickly that im just a cool dude not worried about popularity or drama i just wanna chill, BUT their friends didnt know that and they were put off by the fact that i barely spoke (even though i goof around i had sever anxiety so i didnt speak unless spoken to). some joked around but not really saying stuff like "you give me school shooter vibes" or "if you shoot up the places could you let me know or not shoot me" and me being the funny awkward dude that i was replied with "just for that, you're the first im coming after DUN DUN DUNNNN" , of course that made them a little nervous then i'd say "dont worry im not a school shooter i literally just keep to myself, mind my own business and spread good vibes, if you wanna talk i'll talk otherwise i'm relaxing when my work is done." that made them realize im cool but it did hurt having people think that just because i was quiet and didnt like getting into other peoples business that made them think i was up to no good behind the scenes, my teachers heard me joke about "just for that you're the first id come after" and they all laughed because they knew im cool af. one of them even backed me up saying stuff like "oh leave him alone he's just messing with you" and to this day i smile at that because this taught me lesson i want to teach whoever reads this 3 weeks after the video was posted.
The lesson:
Even when you're doing your own thing, people will talk, you wouldnt know a thing and thats great because you should always focus on personal growth rather than what a stranger thinks about you :)

I feel bad for this dude, I had something similar happen when I was in either 10th or 11th grade, I was the "quiet edgy kid with no friends" only difference is I didnt get bullied, anyway I got pulled into the office before first hour, because someone reported they thought I was gonna shoot someone, but for me all the counselor and principal did was check my bag and locker and ask if I had any intentions of harming my fellow students and stuff like that, they didnt drill me or pull up my school files though. Which is probably good because I also had a ton of "dark" memes in my school drive.

This exact thing happened to me and my friend. I didn't have memes so it wasn't as bad, but about 5 or 6 cops came in and aggressively searched my body and took my back pack, and i was yelled at for about an hour, and to this day, the police and school both believe i said that I am going to shoot up my school. It was very humiliating because almost the entire school saw me in handcuffs being escorted down the hallway.
Don't talk to cops, but especially never comply with school employees. They can threaten a lot but there's very little they can do. I had something similar to this happen, and I would've been screwed if I gave the school my iPod. I kept it in my pocket and told them to get bent basically. Worst case scenario, tell them you're not doing anything without your parents there.

Bro the part about not a soul in the world believing you, and that being a horrible uncool feeling. the sadly ironic thing about this is that a situation like this can make you REALLY resent people.
I mean, he was lucky the guy actually came forward. Most of the cases these people tell one shitty dumb lie about you and then proceed to sleep calmly while your life burns to the ground.

This is my story of how i got accused:
Once when i was still in the second grade there was this disgusting smell coming from somewhere it smelled like shit basically
That day we had like a assembly and i sat in the middle of one a upperclassman and one of my bestfriend
The boys sat in the front while the girls sat in the back and smell was definitely coming from the back
The older girl that sat next to me looked at me funny and ask me "hey does ur stomach hurt?" I really felt nothing so i said no she then turn to her friends and whispered something
After a few minutes i felt almost all the girls looking at me and heard whispers everywhere around me then one of my classmates came up to me and ask me the same question *"does ur stomach hurt?"* i kept saying no they kept asking people were judging me for the wrong reason and that upperclassman looked at me with a disgusted look then she came up to me and said it "did u poop ur pant?" "I'm pretty sure u did" "u smell awful" "go to the toilet and check"
I started cry no body believed me
The the word spread to the boys and they started looking at me i cried more
Then my cousin who was a boy in the fifth grade went up to me
I thought he was gonna comfort me or something but no
"Are you sure u didn't poop ur pants?" I just started sobbing at this point when we went back to our classroom almost everyone avoided me
I'm still very thankful bcuz all my close friends tried comforting me and also defended me
Before getting in my car i heard one of my classmates say "just check" i got in the car and started sobbing again my cousin and his friend just looked at me one of them patted my head thats all
When i got home i was crying so hard i locked myself in my room not talking to anyone i went to the bathroom to check yet i was right there were nothing
My parents were worried so i told and they called my teacher
The next they there was an announcement saying the smell from yesterday was not from someone shitting themself but from someone's feet
Turns out my friend that was sitting next to me yesterday threw away some kind of bad liquid that smelled horrible and it got on her skirt and leg *thats* where the smell was from
Everyone instantly went up to me and apologized and the teacher personally brought the upperclassman and her friend that accused me first to my desk to apologize personally
I forgave her but i hated her until graduation

i wish there was a way i could share my story, i feel as if talking to a therapist face to face is too hard, and im scared if im being honest. I feel like this is an extremely helpful way to take that social barrier away. I wonder if others feel the same.

the kid showed up at school a week later, with a german SMG from WWII and a dozen mags, the shooting was stopped by police tactical teams.

You know u literally broke me i had a dream a day be4 yesterday that i had falsely been accused of something i dont rlly remember what and i went to jail for it and after a long long the police figured out that i was innocent and they took me out and just apologized and didnt care about it and when i got out i thought that my parents had died thinking i did something that made me go to jail my friends maybe dont want to hang out with me cuz they still dont know wut happened cuz the authorities decided to be hush hush about the situation and everyone thought that i was this some kinda bad person that they shudnt know and at that time i was thinking in my dream ofc that i wasnt there for even my parents death they thought of me as a criminal and felt disappointed of me . I felt good for nothing questioning my existance. I also thought maybe now that no one knows me its okay to b alone now and just shut down (I suffer from depression so i thought that cuz i often think that) {BTW dont worry im fine i can control myself i know that me killing myself is wrong i wont do it even if i was intimidated alot because atleast i trust myself on that and i know that it might just ge better so dont worry lol cuz maybe some peeps wud so} Welp i got off topic what i was tryna say is that becuz of that dream i can kinda understand what it felt like and i cant imagine that my dream (cuz sometimes i wish no one knew me or talked to me) or a nightmare was someone elses reality and i feel horrible for the person may they have unlimited happiness and i wish that no one has to go through that
