Audi México is the Audi Group's youngest and most modern plant on the American continent. It is equipped with the latest advances in resource efficiency and manufacturing processes. The 460-hectare Audi plant in Mexico is located in San José Chiapa, 60 kilometers from the capital of the state of Puebla and represents an important step in the internationalization of the brand as part of the Volkswagen Group's network of production plants.

My GMC Terrain 2018 was also built in Mexico. The door doesn't line up, the dash plastic isn't popped in properly where the center LCD screen is, looks weird, and the biggest failer was the transmission at 60k km. The the gasket was missing and one bolt. Unexpectable problem ⚠️ 😢

Impressive factory. But my new 2023 Audi Q5 is not as well built as my previous Audi Q5 2017 was! For one I never had an issue with the doors not closing properly. The fit and finish was hands down much better quality. I paid 10 grand more for a lesser car. Oh well! live and learn!
