These types of old growth stands, are the Creator's Cathedrals. I've stood in a stand of old growth Live Oaks. Outside the grove, wind was blowing about at fifteen, to twenty mph, but in the center of the grove it was total silence. The feeling in that grove was like being in a twelfth century Cathedral, it was overwhelming. I knew deep within myself, this was the Creator's. I'm still humbled by that experience.
Interesting, the Richardson Family. We have had a Richardson's Grove for a long time in the Avenue of the Giants area. I believe that was where a camp was, with my church, many years ago. I believe it would be Southern Humboldt ?
