Really wish I had a paint booth, but for a machine that’s going to be out working, outside worked well enough, could have been a touch warmer but we managed
I see you drive an older Cummins Diesel pickup. Did you upgrade to the new style of ball joints in the front end yet? My brother has a 2002 Cummins and they told him to put in the adjustable ball joints, where you just keep tightening the nut down on them as they wear rather than always having to buy the consumable ball joints.
I have yet to replace the ball joints in that truck. I daily drive a fourth GEN Cummins and My 2nd gen Cummins is a weekend toy/sled pulling truck. But when the time comes, I would love to upgrade the ball joints
I got the paint from the Case dealer, it is CNH IronGaurd case power yellow, I’ll show a clip of the paint in next weeks video where the transmission goes back in. I used hardener and reducer from tractor supply, their majic brand and it worked very well even at 45°F the day I painted. One gallon was a touch short, better off getting an extra quart while you are at it. Rattle cans from the Case dealer match 100% on the money. And the quality of the paint I feel is pretty decent for a tractor paint
Looks Great! Who needs a paint booth...
