Have you also noticed that the Lord Jesus Christ comes from the genealogy of Seth, whom Eve said at his birth: “God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.” ? So Jesus Christ comes from Seth, who is a replacement of Abel who was made right with the Lord, not from Cain who did wrong to the Lord. Amazing.

It was such a B’rachah to hear you speaking about the first three verses in B'reshit, in fact you used almost the same words and observations that I've been preaching since Yeshua revealed the triune nature to me in these verse. I always had questions about verse one in the Hebrew because of the plural noun (Elohim) and the singular verb (bara). Decades ago I would ask the rabbanim in our shuel why this is written this way; I seemed like Mosheh made a mistake, but Elohim can't make a mistake, I was so confused. The rabbanim would never give me an answer that satisfied me. Then in 1982 Elohim opened my eyes and my heart and I accepted Yeshua. Some years later I was ordained and I still didn't understand this portion. So I fasted and prayed several days and suddenly Yeshua revealed it; it was so simple. Elohim worded verse one this way for a reason. The plurality of His being was united in the singular act of creation. His plurality was truly in the first three verses. In verse two the Ruach haKodesh was obvious, then when I reached verse three and read "And Elohim "said": "Let there be light.'" This was Yeshua speaking His light to become present within the world that it might become suitable for man to dwell in; this is exactly what Yochanan writes about in the first Four verses of the Gospel with his name. "In the beginning was the Davar, and the Davar was with Elohim, and Elohim was the Davar. He was in the beginning with Elohim. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness, and the darkness can not comprehend it." When Elohim speaks in verse Three of B'reshit, this is the Davar who is Yeshua.
I have been explaining this as a guest speaker in many churches over the years and many people receive it with joy; but the hardest people the reach with this, among non-Jews, has been seminary graduates. I'm frequently say how they studied Hebrew an I'm completely off base about the Pural noun and singular verb being important. Frequently they say the noun is singular unless it's being used to speak of false gods. Sometimes I say, 'Then how do you deal with the word Elohim in the B'rit Chadashah?' And they say the New Covenant wasn't written in Hebrew. So, rather than argue pointlessly I often let it go. I've said all this just to say thank you for giving me a confirmation that what I received was from Yeshua and it was indeed accurate. Toda Raba, Golan. Shalom shalom.

The motive of Satan is also jealousy and pride. It's like the story of Cain and Abel also mirrors events of Heaven. Lucifer also is jealous of God and refuses to recognize Him as God in the flesh.

I dont think that satan refuses to recognize HIM, (Yeshua,Jesus Christ) as GOD, in the Flesh. Scripture tells us satan went to Him to tempt Him after HIS 40 days fast; and other scriptures point to the (fallen angels) demons recognizing HIM, and begging HIM not torment them before their time. They knew HIM.
The problem is not satan's failure to recognize HIM, the problem was/is satan refusing to submit to HIM.
**And, IN our free will nature we as GODS' Creation must choose to submit to HIM, or follow the way that leads to destruction as well.

This is a very pivotal mindset of understanding Elohim's creation from the very beginning because it coincides with the understanding that there were humans on this Earth before Adam was created.
This mindset is also reinforced by having two separate Creations in Genesis 1 and 2

It is my understanding, learning from Dr. Brown a Jewish scholar who explains the She’ma “Hear O Israel, the Lord your God, the Lord is One, which says that there is one God but the word for “One” is Echad. The word Echad while meaning one but is a plural form. For example, in Genesis when talking about the creation of Adam and Eve, God says that the TWO persons “Adam and Eve” shall become “One/Echad” flesh. God is one God but 3 in Persons , the Father, Son, Holy Spirit! Glory to God!
So your opinion is that God says Hear oh Israel the Lord your 3 Gods is One God? Rather than Hear oh Israel the Lord your Eternal Ruler is One?
@@do5812 Ummm, no. Again, you change my words just so you can make it sound wrong which what you said is wrong. Its here oh Israel, the Lord your God, the Lord is ONE/ "Echad" So if you were to understand the Triunity of God, for which there is 1 God WHO is 3 in Persons, "Father, Son, Holy Spirit". Again, 1 God, not 3 Gods. Don't mix up Essence/Being with Personhood. For example when you see many people have the saying, "We are ONE" in a team event of some kind "like a company picnic or something like that". No one ever has a problem with that saying because they understand that WE is plural form while ONE is single but they are used in different senses so there is no problem, no contradiction with that meaning. Likewise, with God who is ONE/Echad just as it is used back in Genesis talking about Adam and Eve who are 2 Persons but considered ONE in essence/being which is how God is described in the She'ma using the word "Echad" Again, not 3 Gods but 1 God who is 3 in Persons which is perfection because for all eternity, God existed in a set of living loving relationships within the Godhead "Father, Son, Holy Spirit" which means that God was never a lonely being who lacked love/relationship who would then if a single "Person" God would be dependent upon us in order to experience love/relationship which doesn't sound very Godlike who is lacking relationship/who is in need of something and is dependent upon us to experience it. If God is love, then God would have to eternally have love through the Father, Son, Holy Spirit who created us not as if God lacked anything or was dependent upon us, rather God is love within the Triunity that God is, and out of love, God created us for a living loving relationship with the God who is perfect in every way! I pray you seek the truth in righteousness no matter what the cost, because the God of the Bible who is truth will be worth losing anything in this life for!

I have so enjoyed the teaching in this video. In follow up to go back and study the points made, I looked up the Hebrew words. I need help. I cannot find the connection made by the Hebrew word strongs 8159 sa'a for 'respect' in Gen 4:4 and a primitive root word for Yeshua. Also, the same strongs number, 8159 with a negative is used with Cain's sacrifice in comparison to Abel's sacrifice in my Bible. Where do I find the information about the Hebrew words taught in the video?. Thank you in advance for your help.

Interesting to hear and understand the Hebrew version versus English. I know the book of Jasher is not cannon, but would be interested in your take on Cain and Abel's argument and incident that's written in it.

Does your church meet on Sunday or Saturday? The Biblical Sabbath is Saturday. It was the Catholic church that took it upon itself to "transfer" the sanctity of Shabbat to Sunday, not because the Savior rose from the dead that day, that's just an excuse, but because of the pagan sun worship Constantine brought into the church.
And if the "ProTESTant" churches are protesting the catholic church, why do they not go back to the Bible and promote a Biblical Sabbath? (believe me, I've heard it all)
On a personal level, I know it is a tough swim upstream from the strong downward current of the culture, but it is such a blessing to observe Shabbat - rest - cease from striving like you do the rest of the week - and remember God our Redeemer (I'm not talking rabbinical "takkanot"!!!).

If you follow the opinions of someone who expresses hatred in their teachings you are going to end up like that person, angry. There is no reason to be angry. Anger is a sign of not being sure about something. Anger is a sign of frustration or confusion. Our goal on this planet is to smile, to be fair, equal, kind and ultimately happy. So dont allow yourself to follow a path that will lead you to a life of anger and disconnection to others in any way because there are teachers who will lead you down a path that will bring you to happiness and to a life full of love and understanding!!!! Hi! I would like to know how to send y’all a message. I have some questions about the video… more specifically about Cain. Who were the people he was afraid of killing him? Who did he marry? When reading that in the Bible, I remember it confused me and my religious leaders couldn’t give me answer. I had one tell me… well, it had to have been his sister because they were the first people… Adam and Eve. As a Christian who sat under poor teaching for many years I never got it. When I started listening to messianic jewish teaching on the Old Testament, it just hit me in the face one day. Stunned I fell on my face and wept while repeatedly calling Him Holy! Haha I couldn’t believe I missed something so important.
Unfortunately in many Christian churches there is unbalanced teaching. It wasn’t until the Old Testament was taught to me by dear messianic brothers that I got it. Such a blessing!!

You're way overestimating the Torah education of the average Jew, even in Orthodox circles. Most really educated Jews know enough to debate halacha application for daily life but little more.
Much like the average Christian who knows even less than that. These things require (1) that you have the time/teacher/attention/care to study, and (2) a willingness to listen to the other side seriously enough to learn from them instead of trying to convert them. Christians and Jews BOTH actively teach their families to avoid the teachings of the other religion at all costs or else (even if those teachings originate in their own faith), so they both miss out on important information.
As for Christians, once they see Yeshua in the Hebrew what does it do for them? They already have their religion. Important teachings of Yeshua regarding both Torah AND Oral Torah that Christianity ignores are all over the Tanakh and Brit Hadashah, but Christians stop at the Yeshua part and overlook or explain away the parts they don't want to commit to.
One could ask your question in the opposite direction: Why don't christians see that? Cognitive dissonance.
Also “without form and void” is a picture of a person BEFORE salvation. And the Spirit hovers over the person as he’s being convicted.

If we were made in His Image only partially, why then would the plural ‘Elohim’ be said as the image to be made from? Elohim said, ‘Let us make man in OUR image.” It wasn’t solely singular YHWH’s image that man was made in but in ‘OUR/ELOHIM’S’ image. Follow the antecedents. Therefore, man was made in plurality-soul, spirit, body/physical being-just as Elohim was plural but One. But being Creator of Everything That Exists, He can easily separate Himself out into those Three individually. He proves He can by even having us be able to do it. Think of when people die. What happens to the soul of a person when s/he dies? It departs! How about with Elisha...how was his spirit present watching his servant Gehazi defraud Naaman? ...Because God gifted him with the ability to do that as a prophet in order to be a witness with God of that wrong. So He can be separated out even individually yet still be one, just as we can also.

God has many manifestations: He manifested Himself as the Father of creation, the Son in redemption and the Holy Spirit in regeneration. 3 manifestations ( not persons) of the self-same God!!! I only know He claimed to be the "Son of Man" like in Mark 14v62 referring to the same "Son of Man" who rules as God in OT Daniel 7v13 (more clearly shown in Revelation 5).
Btw in Mark 14v62, Jesus responds to the pharisees questions of being the Son of God with "I AM"(Ego eimi) and then quotes Daniel 7v13... not yes but I AM. See Exodus 3v14.
There's too many other passages Jesus claims to be "I AM" eg. John 18v5-6.

Last point to help: 2 Peter 1v1 specifically tells us what Jesus said in the gospels; Jesus is "our God and Saviour". The next verse tells us Jesus is a distinct person from God too. His Father is the same 1 God too. Points to Trinity
